Reactive fluid flow and origin of the fracture-controlled greisens in the Horní Blatná granite pluton, Krušné hory Mts.

Magmatic intrusions emplaced in the shallow continental crust are often associated with hydrothermal alteration and mineralization systems. Alteration zones and their assemblages can be described by means of reaction progress and this variable then used to calculate the time-integrated fluid fluxes, responsible for the mineral formation, if gradients in fluid composition, temperature and pressure are known or estimated. Two limiting cases of this approach have been applied in previous numerical models: (i) infiltration of aqueous fluid that is out of equilibrium with the host rocks, thus producing an alteration sequence as the fluid flux increases, and (ii) fluid flow in local equilibrium with host rocks, where mineral changes are induced by pressure and temperature gradients along the flow path. These two models generally yield results that differ by several orders of magnitude but are both in use for estimating fluid fluxes and transport properties in the lithosphere. We propose a combined model that evaluates the disequilibrium fluid infiltration and the pressure-temperature gradients simultaneously, and apply it to the interpretation of fracture-controled greisen alteration in the Horní Blatná granite pluton in the Krušné hory Mts. Combinatorial algorithms for online problems: Semi-online scheduling on related machines

Tomáš Ebenlendr Combinatorial algorithms for online problems: Semi-online scheduling on related machines Abstract of doctoral thesis We construct a framework that gives optimal algorithms for a whole class of scheduling problems. This class covers the most studied semi-online variants of preemptive online scheduling on uniformly related machines with the objective to minimize makespan. The algorithms from our framework are deterministic, yet they are optimal even among all randomized algorithms. In addition, they are optimal for any fixed combination of speeds of the machines, and thus our results subsume all the previous work on various special cases. We provide new lower bound of 2.112 for the original online problem. The (deterministic) upper bound is e ≈ 2.718 as there was known e-competitive randomized algorithm before. Our framework applies to all semi-online variants which are based on some knowledge about the input sequence. I.e., they are restrictions of the set of valid inputs. We use our framework to study restrictions that were studied before, and we derive some new bounds. Working with prisoners and the formation of standardized programs

In the year 2007 for the Prison Service of the Czech Republic the new treatment program for offenders of commercially motivated sexual abuse of children became preferred. Community is very focused on this area of criminality. In 2007 there were 1 205 of abuse of children. Getting over the long-standing taboo has criminological consequences, which has been confirmed by records on sexual abuse and maltreatment in personal files of dangerous offenders. Therefore, special treatment with offenders of sexual abuse of children represents part of the fight against the most serious criminality and contributes to protection to the most vulnerable members of our community. Commercially motivated sexual abuse of children has been frequently accomplished through a third person that uses pressure or violence on a child. That is why offenders deny their guilt before both the community and their own conscience. The standardized program should guide an offender towards recognition of reasons and consequences of his/her criminal activities. The research part of this thesis concentrates on how the program is perceived by both the offenders and the realization team. Open organisms of collective investments in national and foreign legal regulation

5. ZÁVĚR 5.1. Fondy kolektivního investování jsou velice důležitá součást dnešního finančního světa. Jedná se o moderní, ale již zaběhnutý standardní mechanismus toku peněz od neprofesionálnich investorů směrem ke specializovaným společnostem, které spravují tyto shromážděné prostředky. Jedním z možných (a hlavních) způsobů investování těchto fondů jsou pak investice do převoditelných cenných papírů a obdobných instrumentů. Zprostředkovaně tedy dochází k zainvestování části nebo všech peněz na kapitálovém trhu, přičemž se to týká majetku osob, které si nemusejí být vědomy některých rizik, která takový způsob investování obsahuje, a je tedy třeba upravit tuto problematiku zákonnou normou. Na úrovni práva Evropských společenství se pak této problematice věnovala Rada ES, která vydala v r. 1985 právě první Směrnici UCITS, kterou byly členské země povinny implementovat. Myslím, že s pohledem na (nový) český ZKI, který vstoupil v účinnost dnem vstupu ČR do EU, a který byl vletech 2005 a 2006 čtyřikrát novelizován, je možno konstatovat, že Směrnice UCITS byla implementována dobře. Domnívám se také, že v tomto ohledu se dá česká právní úprava standardních fondů - zejména její verze po novele č. 224/2006 Sb., která zpřesnila nebo nové upravila řadu důležitých institutů - označit za plně harmonizovanou. Artificial neural networks for pattern recognition

This work describes the advantages and disadvantages of using neural networks for pattern recognition. Several neural network models are described and their use for pattern recognition is demonstrated. Standard multi-layered perceptron model is compared to a more sophisticated convolutional network model. A new network model is introduced, which is inspired by the convolutional networks and aimed at rectifying some of their shortcomings. The work describes results of tests performed with the described network model on the problem of recognizing hand-written digits.

Accounting for Small and Medium Enterprises

The main target of this thesis is to clarify some problems of accounting for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), where are some mistakes or questions around them in practise. The first part focuses on importance of SMEs generally. Other part consists of some selected topics as a depreciation and highlighted new legislation which is valid from January 2010, proforma invoices and the relation to VAT, intracommunity transfers and their places of delivery which is important for VAT charges. In labour law there is a caution about the difference between an allowance for meals and meal vouchers as a result of mistakes in travel expenses and connection to this meal voucher as an instrument of payment. There is also a notification of a new lease arrangements from January 2009. This big part is closed by outsourcing of accounting services and why these services are helpful. Very important is also next part which deals with a new International Financial Reporting Standard for SMEs which was issued by IASB in July 2009. In the conclusion of this thesis there are some practical examples of above-cited problems.

The social services for autistic people and their families in Prague

Téma sociální služby pro lidi s autismem jsem zvolila proto, že jako osobní asistent dětí s poruchou autistického spektra vnímám, jak velice chybí rodičům těchto dětí informace o službách, které by jim mohly usnadnit a pomoci při péči o jejich děti. Rodiče se často ptají: "A nevíte o nějaké škole?" nebo "Neznáte nějaký kroužek?", "Myslíte, že by byla hippoterapie vhodná i pro mého syna?" apod. Jako pracovník občanského sdružení APLA Praha, Střední Čechy, o. s. jsem měla povědomí o některých zařízeních, především z oblasti školství. A to proto, že řada asistencí začíná vyzvedáváním dítěte ze školy. Neměla jsem však celkový přehled, a proto jsem dospěla k závěru, že by bylo dobré zmapovat sociální služby pro tuto klientelu na území hlavního města Prahy. Služby jsem si roztřídila do pěti základních kategorií: psychologická péče, zdravotnictví, školství, zaměstnávání a bydlení a problematiku sociálního zabezpečení, v níž je obsažen nový zákon o sociálních službách a možné výhody, které lze uplatnit. Poté jsem hledala adresáře zařízení, která by mohla s touto klientelou pracovat. Sence and primary evaluation of the specialize telephone crisis intervention for people with handicap

Zdravotní postižení je velikým zásahem do života člověka. Postižení významně ovlivňuje možnosti člověka začlenit se do společnosti a do zaměstnání. I přes pozitivní posun v péči o osoby s postižením, stále stojí problematika osob se zdravotním postižením mimo hlavní zájem společnosti. Přetrvává ambivalentní postoj k těmto osobám a stále převažuje tendence k jejich izolaci. Proto považuji za důležité se této problematice věnovat. Dojde-li k postižení během života, člověk se na tuto skutečnost musí adaptovat, musí změnit představy o budoucnosti a nalézt nový způsob života. Vznik postižení znamená také potřebu hledat nový smysl života, cíle směřování a změnu hierarchie hodnot. Pokud se narodí rodičům dítě s postižením, přináší to pocit viny, zklamání a zmařených představ o budoucím životě dítěte. Ve své práci se zaměřuji na zmapování obtíží života s postižením, na proces adaptace na postižení. Tyto informace mají sloužit jako zdroj informací pro pracovníky linky krizové a poradenské pomoci pro osoby s positižením. Práce s osobami se zdravotním postižením má svá specifika vzhledem k tomu, že postižení může ovlivňovat osobnost člověka, může ovlivňovat reakce osoby s postižením na živostní události.
