The determination of the route for running footraces by a modification Travelling Salesman Problem
Havel, Filip ; Borovička, Adam (advisor) ; Fábry, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with finding the optimal route for running footraces. This work seeks to find a link that determines a lap with a predetermined beginning and a goal at the same time, given the possibility of 251 intersections. This model is derived from the travelling salesman problem, whose primary task is to pass the specified set of places according to the shortest route or in the shortest possible time and to return back to the starting point while visiting each place only once. Of course, the routes searched for in this work may be differentiated in several aspects. First of all, it is not necessary to include all of the places you can visit multiple times. The resulting route does not have to be the shortest, but it should have a certain span of distance, as the height metrics obtained are the key factor for optimization. A solution with the exact methods will be demonstrated by the LINGO optimization software, but only for a higher computational difficulty with a limited range of tasks, 21 junctions in the city center. Determining a longer route on a larger set of intersections will allow for derived heuristics with working names: the furthest neighbor with the smallest ascent and a minimal profile change. Part of the thesis is a detailed description of the mathematical model used, the general procedure, along with both a demonstration and an analysis of the applied heuristics.
II/494 Vrbětice-Slavičín
Kuric, Filip ; Nykodym, Jakub (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the modification of the road II/494 between Vrbětice and Slavičín in the form of a technical study. The thesis solves the modification of the road in two proposed variants. Variant A is processed as a road reconstruction in the existing longitudinal alignment. Option B solves new construction in a new corridor. The reason for modifying the communication is to design a more suitable longitudal and vertical alignment of the route in accordance with a valid standard in order to increase comfort and safety on the route. The subject of the thesis is also comparison of suggested variants.

Němcová, Alice ; Pech, Milan (advisor) ; Novotná, Eva (referee)
Sculptures of Eva Kmentová in years 1958 - 1968 This bachelor thesis deals with the sculptural work of Eva Kmentová between 1958- 1968. It considers her studies in Josef Wagner's studio at Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, her cooperation with sculptor Olbram Zoubek and her participation in the Trasa art group. It focuses on the evolution of her work in this period especially on the problem of human figure. Finally, there are mentioned her activities in Václav Špála Gallery and her relationship with art historian Jindřich Chalupecký.

Optimization of Routes for Public Transport
Neumarová, Andrea ; Kučera, Petr (advisor) ; Fejfar, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis, Optimization of Routes for Travel Agencies, deals mainly with traveling agency problem and its optimization for a specific travel agency. For the purposes of this research, the author has chosen routes from Václav Haver International Airport to several hotels from Prag area - Andel's Hotel Prague, Art Deco Imperial Hotel, EA Hotel Jasmín, Hotel Fortuna Rhea, InterContinental Prague, Orea Hotel Pyramida Praha, Panorama hotel Prague. The main object is to examine which of the selected tours are economically optimized (by costs). The theoretical chapter is focused to the distribution tasks as well as methods, whose application leads to the optimization of the routes. The practical chapter includes the modificated nearest neighbor method, and the Vogel approximation method. To illustrate the application of heuristic methods the calculation is carried out by savings method, too. In conclusion, the obtained results are evaluated and suggestions made for a more economic solutions of the routes examined

Product development opportunities for hiking and biking in the Microregion of Šumava - West
KŮS, Daniel
The focus of the thesis is to assess the present disposition of hiking and biking paths, including the research of services supply for tourists in the explored area. Furthermore there is recommended the development opportunities of the product. The following methods are applied in the research: scientific literature research, field survey, specification of object and subject, proposals and measures and design of a new product. For obtaining these aspects is used quantitative research- questionnaire survey.
Visualization of Route Information and Elevation Profile
Kolčárek, Michal ; Přibyl, Bronislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
An ambition of this thesis was to create a complex program for managing geographic data from GPS receiver with graphic user interface. The final application is able to show an information about tracks, to draw tracks into map and to create graphs. Main challenge was to create a user friendly aplication, which is easy to manage even by beginner users. In this application was used a Java language using objected-oriented paradigm.
