Air flow load on a roof structure induced by a helicopter during erection works
Fidler, Tomáš ; Križan, Jiří (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on modeling rotor downwash generated by the main rotor of helicopter and analyzing its effects on the roof structure. Theoretical definition of rotor downwash flow is described in the first part of the text. Governing equations of computational fluid dynamics are briefly explained as well as boundary layer and finite volume method. Next part inquires into numerical simulation of rotor downwash based on height of rotor above the roof, shape of roof plane and climatic conditions. Results are compared with climatic load values provided by actual Czech construction standard in the end of the text.
Quadrocopter realization
Pekarovič, Ján ; Galetka, Josef (referee) ; Götthans, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a helicopter with four rotors known as quadcopter. It describes the principles of operation and existing modifications. Part of the work is the selection of a suitable frame, remote control set, engines and propellers, battery, sensors for stabilization and detection of obstacles and microcontroller for their operation. The paper presents the concept of the specific copter design, design and simulation of printed circuit boards to their self-production, activation and testing. The final part of the thesis includes an economic assessment of the project and its comparison with competitors.
Helicopter rotors
Brožek, Petr ; Pejchar, Jan (referee) ; Petrásek, Miloslav (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis Helicopter rotors has several purposes. Delineate historical development of the helicopters as a vehicle and combat vehicle. Describe main parts and their roles in helicopter. Put into aerodynamics of the rotors. Create overview of the most commonly used types of the helicopter main rotors and anti-torque configurations for contemporary helicopters, followed by a more detailed analysis.
History and use of the helicopters in the Czech Republic
Novák, Josef ; Nastálek, Ondřej (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
Final work concerned with rotocrafts which have ever been used on Czechoslovak region, further especially on region of Czech republic. The work focused on the oldest czech rotocraft aviation pioneers together with accentuating the importance of original czech helicopters. Whole review of helicopters are completed with Attachment 1, which shortly describes all types of used helicopters. Then the work gives in detail using rotocraft by institutions when was looked for historic affairs.
The history of civil aviation 1950-1970
Bednář, Ondřej ; Kaddour, Mirvat (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis creates an overwiev of the history od civil aviation from 1950 to 1970. After World War II civilian transport aircraft was not common. At the end of the above two decades has become an essential part of traveling on long distance. Attention is given to important events in the history of aviation from transitiv from turboprop to turbofan engine. The highlight of this period was the construction of transport aircraft capable of overcoming supersonic speed. This thesis describes the development of helicopter construction. Attention is also given to the large construction offices in Europe, Asia and North America. Part of the work dealth with a development of aviation in Czechoslovakia.
Air transport helicopters
Rybka, Slavomír ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Nastálek, Ondřej (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis contains introduction of the helicopter techniques from the beginning of their development to the present. The work includes complex view on the types of the transport helicopters based on their characteristic elements of design. The machines are devided according the number and location of the rotor, the method of dealing with reaction torque, engine type, the type of rotor heads and take-off weight. There is an overview of selected types of categories for each group, too. The work also includes profiles of selected companies which provide services related to helicopter transport in the Czech and Slovak Republic, including pricing list of services they offer.
Travelling and lifting mechanism
Husák, Adam ; Šťastný, Antonín (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is aimed on traveling and lifting device designed for transportation of BELL helicopters between tarmac and hangar. The first part is devoted to review and evaluation general producers of similar devices. Furthermore there are analysis of possible mechanisms and subsequent choice of appropriate solution. The second part deals with design solution and calculations. Includes drawing of designed device. This device is defined by load capacity up to 2000 kg and stroke 80 mm.
Helicopter Control System
Pukl, Marek ; Vaněk, František (referee) ; Zablatzký, Jiří (advisor)
The object of the bachelor thesis is to create a research in field of helicopter control systems. First pat focuses on cyclic and collective control. Second part contains yaw control and anti – torque control. The end includes a review of the acquired information.
Design, production and testing of education model "Helicopter with two rotors"
Zouhar, František ; Šolc, František (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This work deals with designing and testing of education model "Helicopter with two rotors". The first part is focused on the consturction. Function requirement and set of options of solutions appointed. One of options is chosen and developed by 3D CAD systems. Balance-sheet of possible materials is elaborated in the maximum level available motor pull. Central placing of model is proposed to be able to move in 3 axes. The force electronic are designed and constructed in the second part. Suitable sensors, control method of motor speed and power support are chosen. According to this part the printed circuit board is created, which work as interface between PC (card MF624) and helicopter. In the last part model parameters are identificated and PID control is constructed. Selection procedure of parameters is analyzed in detail, each difficulties are mentioned and obtained data are evaluated. PID control is realized by degrees with regard to complexity of controlling the axes. Problems with disturbance and its impact on control is discussed also.
Air services in the Czech Republic, their possibilities and efficiency rate when used in emergency situations
SEDLÁK, Milan
The thesis deals with the current state of how air services are used within the Integrated Rescue System (IRS); it analyzes the level of equipment, possibilities of use and deployment of such technologies in emergency situations; and evaluates technical, qualitative and quantitative levels of all means that air services use in emergency situations. The thesis also puts emphasis on the analysis of dislocation of these means, its advantages and suitability when scrutinized in terms of quality, speed and efficiency of their deployment in emergency security situations, rescue operations, or their deployment during natural disasters. The outcome of the thesis comprises of proposals how to comprehensively amend applicable laws; and of conclusions that may help instigate discussion on the observed shortfalls, and how to increase efficiency, economy, and logical scheme leading to a timely response in emergency situations. The empirical part of thesis includes quantitative and qualitative researches which scrutinized two research corpuses. Tackling the first research corpus, the author used questionnaires to collect data technically. The questionnaires were aimed at members of the basic units of the IRS components. The outcomes of the questionnaires are shown in graphs. Tackling the second research corpus, the author held semi-structured interviews with expert representatives of subjects that provide air services within the IRS. Assessment of the outcomes was based on the transcriptions of the interviews which involved inserting the data into tables summarizing the most important outcomes of the research. Subsequently, these outcomes were used to identify the most important theses which were based on the answers provided by the respondents to research questions. The research also included an analysis of the available legal standards and documents related to the use of air services to provide efficient intervention, their assessment and identification of some criteria for de lege ferenda proposals to comprehensively amend selected laws. In conclusion, it was found out that there is poor awareness of possibilities how to use air services among the members of the basic units in individual IRS components, which results in insufficient deployment of Air Services while carrying out interventions.
