Czech environmental inspectorate The Czech environmental inspectorate (CEI) is a professional body of state administration. It is responsible for supervising the compliance with the statutory rules and binding administrative decisions in the field of environment. CEI was established in 1991 by the Czech Environmental Inspectorate and its competencies in forestry protection Act No 282/1991 Coll. Other competencies were added subsequently in 1991-1992. CEI is subordinated to the Ministry of the Environment. The activities of the CEI are divided into five core areas: air protection, water protection, waste management, nature protection and forest protection. CEI was gradually assigned additional responsibilities in other areas: protection of the Earth's ozone layer, supervision over the handling of chemical substances, industrial accident prevention, packaging management, integrated pollution and prevention control, supervision over the CITES convention compliance and genetically modified organism (GMOs). The main task of CEI is to carry out controls, revisions and investigations at specific places, impose fines for breaking environmental law and remedial measures. The competecies of CEI are jointly governed by the Act mentioned above and other laws regulating specific components of the environment. CEI is...

Evaluation of anthropometric parameters at patients with bronchogenic carcinom.
Netolická, Jana ; Hronek, Miloslav (advisor) ; Hrnčiarik, Michal (referee)
63 12. Abstrakt The aim of this work was to compare anthropometric and spirometric parameters of patients with bronchial carcinoma in stage III. and IV. Patients were examined in total of three periods (P1-P3), 0 day it was the entrance examination before the 1st chemotherapy cycle (P1), 6 weeks after it was the follow-up examination before the 3rd chemotherapy cycle (P2) and 12 weeks after it was the final examination which was 3-4 weeks after the last 4th chemotherapy cycle (P3). Ten patients were examined, they included 7 men and 3 women of the average 64 ± 8,052 years. Weight loss during the examination swayed in a small range, which was not significant (in period P1 the body weight was 75,03 11,44 kg, in period P2 was 72,25 12,4 kg, in period P3 was 74,33 14,37 kg). BMI was moving steadily beyond the value of 25 and according to the age it belongs to the ideal weight (for period P1 it was 25,43 3,619 kg/m2 , for period P2 was 25,31 3,885 kg/m2 and for period P3 was 25,15 5,619 kg/m2 ). There was also a moderate increase in body fat according to Siri, which is described in some studies (it was 19,52 7,353 kg in period P1, in period P2 it was 19,17 7,092 kg and in period P3 it was 20,39 7,246 kg). Values of physical circuits had a tendency to decrease in period P2 in comparison to period P1, but in...

Prevention of complications endoscopis surgery
Müller, Radek ; Kučera, Eduard (advisor)
This theme is dealing with historical development of the endoscopic methods in his opening part. Then this theme focuses on the identification of occurrence of complications in the endoscopic gynecology. First of all it focuses on laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH). This theme speculates about the possibilities of prevention except of the complications. This theme was created by using the file of 487 patients who were operated by the LAVH method in the Institution for care about mother and child in Prague - Podolí in the interval of 2005 - 2008. The results of analysis are: 396 (81,3 %) patients were cured without any complication. Peroperational or postoperational complications were occured in 91 (18,7 %) cases. The patients with complications (91 cases) had in 58 (11,9 %) cases the less severe complications (fever or subfever at least 3 postoperation days, vaginal infiltration or the combination both of this complications. The group of 33 patients was affected by one or more severe complications. The theme compares getting results with National register of complications in gynecology laparoscopy. The summary says us that LAVH method belongs to the modern procedure in therapy of great group of gynecological pathology. There is very low occurrence of complications by using necessary...

Castles of Václav IV
Záruba, František ; Durdík, Tomáš (referee) ; Kuthan, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the castles of Wenceslas IV that he had built or markedly reconstructed for his own personal needs. I take a detailed look at 9 locations among which I place foremost the Old Royal Palace of Prague Castle, Vlašský dvůr (Wallachian Court), Žebrák Castle, Točník Castle, Nový hrad u Kunratic, Křivoklát Castle, Loket Castle, Králův dvůr na Starém městě pražském (Royal Court in Prague Old Town), and Hrádek na Zderaze Castle. These castles are considered to be the work of one castle construction works and attain very great artistic qualities. Most of them were built at the end of the 14th century between 1380 - 1400. This thesis deals with the relation of Wenceslas' castle works and the work of Petr Parléř and the building of the St. Vitus Cathedral, and one chapter deals with the castles of the court, particularly the Jenštejn and Krakovec castles.

Teachers' attitude towards implementing school education programme (a primary school in the residential area of Prague as an example)
Vlková, Kateřina ; Dvořáková, Markéta (referee) ; Koťa, Jaroslav (advisor)
In my bachelor's labour themed Teacher's Attitude Towards Implementing School Education Programme I deal, in its theoretical part, with some changes which are proceeding at the education system in The Czech Republic. I take a think of the situation in the contemporary primary school education and actual school reform. Afterwards, I deal with the teacher's personality, his status in the society, heftiness of this profession and also about some of its problems. It's beyond dispute, that without good teachers it's impossible to achieve any kind of reform which is related to education. Subsequently, I concentrate on school, mainly its targets, functions and mission. I also make reference to the curriculum, its types, development and creation. At the end of the theoretical part of this labour I also mention the attitude, which is an indivisible part of the perception of the reality among all the men kind. It takes a part in the willingness to realize required changes, not only in the professional area. Regarding to the actual changes in the education concept in our country and the necessity of the education quality raising, I was anxious to find out, how are these changes perceived by the teachers who are the integral part of the school reform. The target of the practical part of my labour was to find out how,...

Křepenice village in time of collectivization
Macourková, Anna ; Rychlík, Jan (referee) ; Kvaček, Robert (advisor)
In my work I tried to explain the reality of the country in time of collectivization and analyze in more detail, how the collectivization developed and how the orders of Communist Party were executed. I also tried to analyze how the Czech country has changed since the Second World War. For my work I chose village Křepenice in Sedlčany district, which was displaced in time of so - called Protectorate. Collectivization in Czechoslovakia can be divided in two phases. The first phase begins in 1949 after the communist takeover in 1948 and after ratification of the law about the United agricultural association. It was very strong intervention in the life of village population and the end of their personal farming. Farmers were forced to entrance into association. Some of them, which was called kulak, were persecuted, locked in prison and their property was confiscated. The first phase ended in 1953 when the crisis of collectivization broke out. Economic situation of the United agricultural association was bad before 1953 and most of farmers left. Collectivization was more successful in the second phase which began after 1954. In this period farmers were persuaded about good collective idea and majority of them entered into the United agricultural association. Despite of farmers's unconcern and apathy about...

A prototype of multiplayer in UFO computer game
Kasík, Pavel ; Sýkora, Ondřej (referee) ; Brom, Cyril (advisor)
This work is trying to explore different possibilities of implementation multiplayer in tactical UFO-like games. UFO-like games are complex tactical games with many possibilities how to play. In singleplayer game the player often think and plan what to do next. During this thinking the game is paused. But this could spoil the game for other players in multiplayer. That's the reason why this work comes to being, to suggest compromise solution for multiplayer. The first part is software prototype, giving us solution of technical problems especially synchronization. The second part of this work is about solving timeflow scenarios. All scenarios are designed to keep fun and space for thinking. All scenarios are implemented programmable to explore the whole potential.

Mechanisms of activation and modulation of the TRPV1 receptor: relationship between structure and function
Touška, Filip ; Vlachová, Viktorie (advisor) ; Teisinger, Jan (referee)
Vanilloid Receptor Subtype 1 - TRPV1 - is an important member of the TRP ion channel family. The physiological role of this ion channel is to integrate the nociceptive signals from the peripheral nervous system. TRPV1 participates in the detection of noxious stimuli on the primary afferent sensory neurons: of the chemical stimuli, such as capsaicin, resiniferatoxin, inflammatory mediators, endogenous vanilloids, and of the low pH (<6.5), and of the noxious heat stimuli (>43řC). Apart from the high expression on the dorsal root ganglion neurons and trigeminal ganglions, the functional expression of this receptor has been also found in the central nervous system, where its role remains elusive, however. Structural-functional studies which have been carried out since the receptor was first cloned, that is 13 years ago, have revealed several specific characteristics. Nonetheless, a number of questions remain to be answered, particularly those concerning cellular mechanisms and regulation of TRPV1's activation, modulation, and its complex function in the nervous system. The aim of this diploma thesis was to characterize, using electrophysiological and fluorescence techniques, the activation and desensitization kinetics of recombinant TRPV1 receptor in relation to the dynamic changes of intracellular calcium....

Khomeini's conception of velajat-e faqih in the mirror of Shi'ite theology
Cvrkal, Zdeněk ; Gombár, Eduard (advisor) ; Mendel, Miloš (referee) ; Kropáček, Luboš (referee)
If we survey the development of political thought in Islam we would come to know that Muslim scholars. during the past hundred years. have developed new theories in the tield of Islamic political thought in an unprecedented manner. Yet some of them have not been successful in developing theories fit for running the affairs of their societies. The Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1979 resulted in the replacement of the monarchy by the Islamic Republic of Iran. The inspiration for the new government came from Great Ayatollah Seyyed Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini. who first began formulating his concept of an Islamic government in the early 1970s. while in exile in the Shi 'a Islam learning and pilgrimage center ofNajaf in Iraq. Thus, it is necessary to delve into his ideas and examine his political thought for various reasons: I. Imam Khomeini's thought laid the foundation of a great movement i.e .. the Islamic Revolution in Iran: with the culmination of the Islamic Revolution in Iran the oppressed peoples of the world, in general. and the Iranians. in particular. have been eagerly \Vaiting to reap the fruits of the movement. hence, it should be studied thoroughly; 3 moreover. in order to keep the record of such a movement in the history, it is necessary to work out the ideas of a 1'vfujtahid who. in the light of the...
