Investing in the Financial Market

The theoretical part focuses on creating a basic comprehensive overview related to the functioning of financial markets. This is then supplemented with essential facts that are focused on investing in mutual funds, investment risk, volatility and other important factors that form the information basis for every investor. In the practical part, they are composed on the basis of the investment portfolio used by a virtual portfolio approach to investing. These portfolios are based on real data and the amount of one million crowns is placed in a model investment in both portfolios. Individual mutual funds are analyzed both individually and in relation to the portfolio they belong to. To create relevant and quantifiable conclusions, elements of technical analysis indicators in the form of beta coefficient of determination and CAPM (Capital Asset Pricing Model) are used. The final part consists of a unique model that compares and consequently clearly demonstrates the difference in the effectiveness of the implementation of regular investments compared to a single one within the both created investment portfolios.

Use of Bond Analysis during Estimating Process of Exchange Rates of Selected Securities

The diploma thesis uses theoretical knowledge from the literature sources. The diploma thesis characterizes capital market and the securities which are active on the capital market. The main theoretical part of diploma thesis is about bonds. The practical part of diploma thesis is to analyse and compare the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond. All of chosen bonds are active on the Czech capital market. The analyses of the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond are provides by calculating of the intrinsic value (the present value) of the bonds, of the profitability of the bonds and of the duration of the bonds. The analyses consists also from the comparing the liquidity of the bonds and their risk. The diploma thesis includes also a global fundamental analyze. The final part of diploma thesis is comparing of the results of the analyses of the bonds and also includes the advice for the potential investor which bond is better for investing.

Development of the company's share price of Philip Morris CR, a.s. on the stock exchange

The aim of the thesis is based on statistical methods to predict the evolution of the share price of company Philip Morris CR, Inc. and subsequent determining the period of investment return, which was made during the reporting period for companies trading on the Prague Stock Exchange. The author first defines the position of the capital market, defines used tools within the market and divides the capital market into type of securities business and into the type of the opportunities to participate in the market and into the type of organized character. For the analyze shares are identified market participants and are listed investment tools. Finally are formulated types of exchanges, clarified ITS functions and author defines The Public Market in the Czech Republic In the subsequent part of the thesis is executed fundamental and technical analysis, forecast of the shares of Philip Morris and calculating return of investment using macroeconomic ratios, indicators of sectoral analysis, the dividend discount model, profitable models, trend indicators and oscillators, multiple linear regression and profitability investments. The author on the Base of the fundamental analysis, recommended shares of Philip Morris CR at 06/2017 sell.

Investment Options Population in the Czech Republic

The main goal of this work is to simplify the plethora of information on the topic of investment and formulate them into a form, that is understandable for the normal investor. Thus, the investor gets the theoretical framework to find appropriate product, or a way to to invest in capital markets. Partial aim is to highlight the pitfalls associated with investing, define essential factors necessary for the proper choice of each investment and give specifics of individual investment instruments. Last but not least, simulations of selected investment instruments, assessing their development along with identification key factors having influence on the result of investment.

Investment Climate in India With Emphasis on Investment Incentives

This Bachelor's thesis is about the investment climate in India. The first chapter explains important theoretical terms concerning this topic. The second chapter describes both historical and current aspects which are involved in forming investment climate. Indian economy and its involvement in international trade are also characterized in this chapter. The third chapter evaluates the investment climate as such. It introduces important reforms, industry restrictions, barriers to entry to the Indian market, and investment promotion agencies. It also provides information about foreign direct investments in India. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to investment opportunities for foreign investors.

Economy of Celtic Tiger: Foreign Direct Investment Issue

This diploma thesis deals with investment incentives and their effect on the economy of Ireland in historical and contemporary context. The introduction focuses on the general issue of foreign direct investment and investment incentives. After the summary of geographic and socioeconomic characteristics of the state the work describes an economic development of Ireland from 17 century to the present, especially the important historical events and their influence on the Irish economy. In the main part of this thesis, which is focused on the Irish investment incentives, are listed the general factors of the Irish economy in the form of so-called comparative advantages (high mobility and high skills of workforce, low labor costs) including specific benefits for U.S. investors (culture similarity, no language barrier, favorable geographic location, quality infrastructure) and economic and political measures in the field of direct investment, that Ireland has implemented to attract foreign investors (building of modern telecommunications infrastructure, the international experience of workforce and the establishing of organizations to promote foreign direct investment). Next the work analyses development of investment incentives from the beginning of their application in the 70th of the 20th century through the industrial "boom" in the 90th of the 20th century to the present, focusing on those of them that were key for the development of the Irish economy (taxes on income, efficient infrastructure, a flexible labor market, etc.). Consequently, there is a given forecast of Ireland in the coming years. There is evaluated the impact of investment incentives on the development of the Irish economy and outlined the direction in which the incentives in Ireland will take in the near future.

Regional differences of foreign direct investments

The thesis describes and analyses the development of foreign direct investments in Czech Republic with emphasis on state and regional level. The goal of my thesis, focusing on the topic "Regional differences of foreign direct investments", is to answer the question if foreign direct investments help to decrease the regional disparities. The first part of the thesis oves more detail sof FDI definition, types, factors of localizations and barriers. Second part of the thesis answers the question if FDI brings positive impact to economic development. The third part defines the regions supported by government. The main part of the thesis analyses the development of FDI in Czech Republic and two levels of districts during 2000-2008. In the last part of the thesis are mentioned two examples of foreign direct investment localizated in Czech Republic, in different districts.

The importance of foreign investment for the development of the banking sector of Ukraine

In my thesis I analyze the development of foreign direct investment in the banking system of Ukraine and the ukrainian market assessments of attractiveness for foreign investors. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of the banking system of Ukraine, the basic features of foreign direct investment and consequences of the inflow of such investment. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the basic economic indicators of the Ukrainian banking sector and the level of concentration of the banking market. The conclusion demonstrates that the banking sector of Ukraine has shown a significant improvement in recent years due to the entry of foreign investors (banks). At the same time, there are still some barriers, which government authorities should continue to deal with.

Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership TTIP

The bachelor thesis is focused on topic of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and it's potential impact on EU and USA economy. The agreement prepared since 2011 is to merge two of most powerful economies on present world into Transatlantic Free Trade Area and to create barrier-free trade mechanism, which is currently operational inside the United States of America and European Union. With respect to global prespective this ambitious project can bring strong economic recovery for both economics, faster mutual trade and closer political cooperation of western part of the world. For individuals the agreement may ensure an increase of job offer, higher availability of foreign products and also easier travelling. If this trade agreement was realized, may affect the wide trade coperation all over the world and have strong impact on global economic and politic situation.

THE MEXICAN FOOD INDUSTRY INVESTMENTS: Situation and Opportunities in the Czech Republic

This thesis aims to analyze the evolution of the investments of Mexico in foreign countries, its beginnings, the economic policy behind the boost on investments, the main Mexican industries evolution of investments in the globe and the specific food industry development through the years. To reach the final analysis of the specific opportunities of three of the biggest companies in the Mexican food sector, Grupo BIMBO, Grupo MASECA and Conservas La Costena, which will have conclusions on the Czech conditions for businesses, competition in the food industry by domestic companies and the description of the capacities of each Mexican enterprise that may or may not enable them to invest in the Czech Republic. The first chapter analyzes a theoretical approach to the global context dynamics and the theories that we believe are proper for the investment flows analysis along with the performance of Mexico in this dynamics. The second chapter covers the development of the outward Mexican FDI linked to some historical facts, policies and reaching an analysis on the evolution of Mexican FDI presence in Europe. The Chapter three deepens the study in the food sector, with a global contextualization of the dynamics in and out of Mexico, and then analyzes our three specific cases, BIMBO, GRUMA and LA COSTENA. Finally, the fourth chapter will end with the analysis of the Czech Republic as a potential investment receiver, barriers, legal framework, and competition in the food sector, to reach the final description and conclusions about the opportunities of Mexican investments in the food sector on the Czech Republic.
