Design of experimental device for measurement of tire cornering stiffness

This thesis describes the design of devices that will measure the directional characteristics of the tires. The first step is to analyze the directional characteristics and methods of measurement. The following equipment design, which should be designed to function while it was cheapest. The device is designed as a trailer towing vehicle. It also includes analysis of individual plant components important to measure those variables.

Design of a small multipurpose reservoir in the cadastral area Velké Albrechtice

The first section of this diploma thesis pursues an algorithm design of flood wave transformation in Excel software and its application afterwards. The software is used to design a small multipurpose reservoir. The algorithm covers consumption calculations of typical dam structures such as discharge structures, sluice planks, narrowed section of discharge pipes and safety spillways. The thesis also includes a mathematical model of water infiltration into the bottom of the inundation area and through the dam body. The last section of the thesis is dealing with an aesthetic integration of the whole structure into the local environment.

Project documentation of new P3 type firehouse is presented in this master thesis. Firehouse’s design is in accordance with ČSN 73 5710 Požární stanice a požární zbrojnice and includes premises for: administration, teaching, day and night emergency, gymnasium, firehouse’s workshop and garrage. Its structure is made of sand-lime brickwork wall system combined with system of reinforced concrete pillars. Ceilings are designed using prestressed hollow core slabs. Firehouse is completed by external wall insulation and single-coated roof.

Study of Possibility to Build Small Dams near Vyškov

This thesis deals with the design of small reservoirs at Vyškov na Moravě. Projected reservoirs’ dams are earth-fill and homogenous and each one is equipped with the bottom water outlet and the emergency spillway. The first reservoir, located on the tributary of the Drnůvka river, has the fountain type emergency spillway and the feed pipe bottom water outlet. The reservoir of the Merchanice river, situated at the Vyškov airport, is equipped with the lateral emergency spillway and the feed pipe bottom water outlet. The third design is the reconstruction of the Marchanka reservoir projecting the dam raise. For this small reservoir two variants of functional installations were elaborated.
