Performance of Anchor-Free Localization in Wireless Sensor Network
Nováček, Aleš ; Morávek, Patrik (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
Many applications that use senzor data from a wireless senzor network require corresponding node position information as well, information from the senzors is useful only if node location information is also available. There are many ways to get information about location of senzor, but some are expensive and inefficient. My work presents fully decentralized algorithm AFL (anchor-free localization) for localization of wireless sensors. Aim of my master´s thesis is to describe main features and advantages of AFL and to create program that simulates localization process.

Cupal, Miroslav ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Prášek, Jan (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with thick/film sensor’s electrodes optimization. The aim of this work is to determine how the geometric size and shape of the electrodes affect the output current response. Technology and electro-analytical method is described in the theoretical part. The practical part is aimed at thick-films electrodes and sensors optimalization. It is here each optimization TLV electrodes in terms of their impact on the size of the output current response three-electrode electrochemical system using standard electrodes. Similarly, there is a study of the effect size performed on one common electrode free-electrodes sensor. Finally, there are studied various forms of electrode area three-electrode thick-film sensor in terms of their effect on the output current response. Summarized results are described in the final part of the work.

Measuring software was realized in LabVIEW version 8.2. The first part describe the topic of this thesis. The second part describes various kinds of sensors and describtion of functions and specifications. The third part describe programming system LabVIEW. The fourth describe design of connection supply and measurement part of circuit. The fifth part describes used instruments. The sixth part is about used methods measuring. In the seven part is the description of the functions of this program and its control. In eight part is evaluated measurement uncertainty. In the last part are shown examples of the application program.
Thin device for the real temperature distribution measurement with the negastore matrix
Martinásek, Zdeněk ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Rampl, Ivan (advisor)
The main task of the Master Thesis is to project a device to measure surface temperature distribution by matrix of diodes. The maeasuring device is designed for usage at places where other thermal map scanning measuring methods (e.g. thermocamera) can not be used. The key objective was to design an appropriate measuring method for selected type of sensor. This method should ensure the most effective detection of the changing value, translate received values to the digital form and send it to the computer. All circuits were powered over USB (Universal Serial Bus) together with the signalling. Calibration was needed due to different sensors technical parameters. The calibration was realized on the software level and displayed with the thermal map scanning on the computer. The final project has the form of the measuring installation with 256 sensors on 8x8 cm area.
Modeling of elementar part as component of electronics system
Psota, Boleslav ; Řezníček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
This work deals with behavior of the temperature dependent element that makes a part of thermodynamics system. The analyzed element makes a base for modern electronic packages and 3D systems. The aim of this work is to analyze the behavior of that element and to solve the virtual model of temperature dependent system. There are shown some practical applications as well.
Using the ADAM industrial sensor system in laboratory measurement
Nos, Pavel ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Rampl, Ivan (advisor)
Main task of the Master Thesis is to introduce into sensor systems used in the field. On Advantech sensor system with use of ADAM 4000 modules is shown decentralized sensor system which comunicates over RS 485 and using master computer. Within Master Thesis was compiled measuring board and were assembled three programs which demonstrate possible use of different types of modules. Main development environment is used ADAMView. Each modules has different number and types of inputs and outputs. Using of sensor system saving measurement time, increasing measurement effeciency, relieves data processing and automatize measurement.
Design of programmable control system
Trpiš, Michal ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Koula, Ivan (advisor)
The goal of diploma thesis is design of programmable control system. This system can be used for regulation of basic parameters in an aquarium. Primary parameters for selection of this device are the price and the easy realization of final device. In first step there are selected parameters, which are needed to control. In second step there is described which kind of sensors can be used for measuring of selected parameters and suitable regulation of necessary parameters. The device is supposed to communicate with PC by USB and this communication is going to be compatible with an old RS-232. Device must be completed with hardware design. Device will be in principle system with real time, that is the reason why device will contain microcomputer. A microcomputer must communicate with other integrated circuit in the device and it supposes to communicate with PC. In specific chapter it will be described, how many different kinds of communication it is possible. For microcontroller it is necessary to create a program, which can figure the measured parameters and it also allows setting up the way how parameters can be regulated. Measured parameters are supposed to storage in the specific memory for the later interpretation. The completely device must be put into a case, which is calculating with a damp place. There must be created a host application for PC. This application suppose to detect if device is connected, figure measured parameters and also allows to set up the way, how to regulate the parameters and display the storages parameters. The application is suppose to run on the operation system created by Microsoft (Windows XP and Windows Vista or later). Diploma thesis contains a problem of the analysis which parameters may be controlled and the way how it can be controlled. There will be selected the sensors, which are suppose to measure and there will be described the basic data transfer and the specifications. It will also contain description of the hardware and software implementation of the device and possibilities of the user’s settings. There will be described the host application and its possibilities. Finally there will be described a functionality of the device and the host application. It will be also imagined some system upgrades for future.
Sensoric properties of organic N-type semiconductors and their air stability
Saska, Pavel ; Vala, Martin (referee) ; Salyk, Ota (advisor)
Hydrogen has been for some time discussed as a successor to fossil fuels whose stocks are constantly running low. One of the crucial requirements for the possible usage of hydrogen as an energy carrier is our ability of reliable detection. In context with development of organic electronics there occurred a possibility to use derivatives of diketopyrrolopyrroles as sensing materials of hydrogen sensors. Derivatives of diketopyrrolopyrrole are organic pigments that behave as semiconductors. Their analogues with pyridyl side group are due to free electron pairs of nitrogen atoms sensitive to hydrogen. The problem of organic N-type semiconductors is in general their instability on the air. This thesis is focused on testing of hydrogen sensors with active layer made from derivatives of diketopyrrolopyrrole and judging their stability on the air.
Modern trends in technical measurements
Kollmann, Ladislav ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on modern trends in technical measurements. The first part is devoted to the measurement status in the technical practice, the trends of its development and some selected analysis of these trends. An emphasis is put on the efforts of objectification of the measurement process to eliminate a man influence on its results. The final section shows new approaches to measuring with the example, which is a measurement of length – one of the oldest metrological tasks in human history.
