It explains basic concepts, principles and methods that has aim to clarify systems and methods used in the practical part to the reader. The practical part describes the implementation of these methods and optimization of specific part of the manufacturing process. The result of optimization is evaluated from the perspective of time and finance.

This thesis deals with study of production process of a company that mostly deals with custom-made products of mechanical engineering. One part of the thesis is an analysis that serves to reveal weakness. Criteria and requirments for new information system are stated on the basis of the weaknesses. The thesis describes the approach and the schedule of implementation of the information system. The conclusion describes the economical evaluation of the project and the assumed impact on the management of the company.

The goal of this thesis is to describe the process management of orders in Araplast company. First part of this thesis is dedicated to the theory. Second part is dedicated to the company called Araplast, to the order of steps during the process of production and also to the technologies that are used during the production of traffic signs. Last part is focused on analysis of production and it is also dedicated to the proposal of improvement.

Planning,production and distribution in the manufacturing enterprise

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the individual steps in the production of the product, from obtaining the order, through planning and implementation to delivery of the goods to the customer. Based on this analysis to specify the problems found and propose solutions so that the customer is satisfied. The first step was to study literature related to the subject. After that followed collection of data on several selected orders from 2018 year, sorting of the collected data and a deeper analysis of the individual steps described in the thesis. Furthermore, there were used company report SCORECARD and customer satisfaction questionnaire. In the end, the data obtained and the interpretation of proposals and solutions were evaluate. The data collection was based on my own long-term experiences and knowledge of the company and their customers. Another tool was the method of controlled interviews with other company employees. The last way to collect data was used internal company documentation.

Implementation of the 5S System at the Workplace

This bachelor thesis focuses on formulation of realistic strategy of implementation of 5S system in an electrician and locksmith workshop. The strategy is realized as a project, which is based on internal analysis of a company, current state of the workplace, working conditions and work operations carried out at the workplace. The thesis includes a draft of implementation during continuous operations.

The Order Processing in Engineering Company

The bachelors thesis is focused on the realization of the order in a selected engineering company. Processes, that the order goes through since the actual acceptance until expedition are tracked and we are looking for weak areas of the whole process. Based on the analysis of these processes, the weak areas of the company are revealed. The output of this work is the minimization or a complete elimination of these weak points and economic evaluation of the proposed modifications.

The thesis deals with the description of individual processes, transformation of inputs into outputs and activities leading to make a product. The elaboration of theoretical research is followed by the methodology which describes particular steps of solution leading to accomplishing the defined objective. Based on analysis of basic managerial functions, improved arrangement of relations between manufacture and demands of users is proposed. This improvement is measured by economic criteria. Detected facts clarify existing situation of the company and contribute to streamline the production and increase the prosperity of its business.

In my thesis I deal with production capacity utilization in selected company. The aim is to propose recommendation for elimination of negative effects on production capacity. In the theoretic part there is a characterization of productive activity in company at first and below there is an explanation of term production capacity with some methods and techniques to its determination. The practical part is aimed to a determination of production capacity in last years.

Study of the Order Processing Management with the Focus on Manufacturing Process Management

This master thesis is focused on process of production management and scheduling in a selected company. In the first part the selected company has been described. The theoretical part contains an explanation of terms that relates to this topic. In the practical part, a process analysis of the current state of the process of production management and scheduling has been carried out, which detected certain deficiencies related to this process. The identified deficiencies are further interpreted and on the basis of the theoretical part, has been proposed a solution, which should lead to the elimination of these problems. In the final part of the thesis, the benefits of the proposed solution are determined.
