Analysis of the need for low-treshold facilities for children and youth in Prague 3.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the need for low-threshold-based social services for children and youth in the locality of Prague 3. In the theoretical part of the study there were defined basic concepts, furthermore, the processes of socialization and individuation with emphasis on the specifics of post-modern times and problems that may occur during the formation of identity were described. Further, against this background there were defined the basic stress situations and possible strategies to deal with it were outlined - generally also as in the context of low-threshold social services for children and youth. The meaning of the theoretical part was to point out the biodromal context of human development, of which the problems can not be taken out and solved separetely, but it is necessary to seek a comprehensive understanding of the situation in which the service user is located. The research includes the comparison of results of the survey in schools and low-threshold clubs, as well as the analysis of interviews with users of the low-threshold facility for children and youth and demographic aspects of the locality of Prague 3. Andrea Svobodová Komplexní studium Rukopisu dzikovského se zam ením na grafickou, jazykovou a textovou analýzu eské sbírky kázání A Comprehensive Study of The Dzikowian Manuscript Focusing on a Graphic, Language and Textual Analysis of the Czech Postil Abstract The thesis submits a comprehensive philological analysis of the Dzikowian Manuscript, an insufficiently explored late medieval manuscript containing two postils, de tempore in Latin and de sanctis in Old Czech. The thesis aims to specify the place of this work in the context of medieval preaching, to critically review the previous research and to find new paths of research in evaluating this work. It is divided into three chapters, their common topic being attribution of both the postils on the grounds of codicological, content, and especially language features. Special emphasis is put on description of non-standard language phenomena, their interpretation being a key factor for transcription rules (one of the main results achieved apart from precising probable dating and localisation is a complete transcription of the Old Czech postil). Obsahem této bakalářské práce je komplexní zhodnocení finanční situace ve společnosti Mlékárna Kunín, a.s. za pomoci různých metod finanční analýzy a prostřednictvím aplikace bonitních a bankrotních modelů prognózovat její budoucí ekonomický vývoj. Součástí je rovněž srovnání výsledných hodnot s průměrnými hodnotami dosaženými v oboru a zjištění, zda vývojové tendence podniku kopírují vývoj oboru jako celku. Práce by měla napomoci odhalit silné a slabé stránky podniku, silné stránky využít a slabé potlačit.

Examining the significance of peptides regulating the intake of food and the nutritional state of children and adolescents

Introduction: Regulation of food intake and nutritional status is mediated by complex interactions of regulatory peptides of the central nervous system, gastrointestinal tract and adipose tissue. These systems are connected by feedback loops which inform the centre about amount of ingested food and energy reserves in the organism. Dysfunction of any of these regulatory areas may lead to changes in nutritional status of the organism. Methods: We used radioimmunoassay to measure plasma levels of orexin A, total ghrelin and serum levels of leptin and enzyme immunoassay to measure serum levels of adiponectin in healthy subjects and in children with obesity, anorexia nervosa, Crohn's disease and celiac disease and we evaluated the influence of nutritional therapy on these levels. Moreover, we evaluated relationship of these regulatory peptides to other biochemical and anthropometrical factors of nutritional status. We also measured plasma levels of total and unreduced amylin by enzyme immunoassay with immunofluorescence detection in adult patients with osteoporosis, type II diabetes mellitus and in the control group. Finanční analýza podniku Zentiva a.s. z pohledu věřitele

Práce podává komplexní obraz finanční pozice společnosti Zentiva a.s. s komentářem k jednotlivým ukazatelům analyzovaného subjektu. Dílčí výsledky pro jednotlivé oblasti byly získány analýzou výše a struktury aktiv a pasiv, hodnotou a vývojem ukazateleů rentability, aktivity, zadluženosti a kapitálového trhu. Následně byla připojena analýza pracovního kapitálu a základní pravidla financování a celkový rozbor je doplněn o modely predikce finanční tísně. Na základě dílčích výsledků je provedeno závěrečné hodnocení společnosti Zentiva a.s. z pohledu věřitele.

Impact of pesticides on the gut microbiota of animals

Pesticides are substances used to control plant and animal pest in agriculture. They are very significant and important factor in both production and revenues. Nowadays it is almost impossible for farmers to dispense without these substances but their presence in the soil does not bring only benefits. About pesticides it is generally known that they may adversely affect either on the ecosystem or the human or animal body. As the result many substances had been banned from market. Pesticides and their residues are subject to many controls and laboratory analysis in order to prevent their negative effects.
The aim of the thesis was to test the effect of pesticide (Roundup) on gut microorganisms. For the experiments we used bovine fecal samples and pure bacterial cultures isolated from various domestic animals for the testing of susceptibility to Roundup. We have determined specific growth rates of pure cultures cultivated on three different concentrations of Roundup and total counts lactobacilli, enterococci, E. coli and coliform bacteria of bovine feces cultivated on six different concentrations of Roundup
In the first experiment, no correlation has been found between the concentration of glyphosate (active substance of Roundup) and counts of bovine intestinal bacteria. The effect of glyphosate on the growth of intestinal bacteria was visible at the second attempt. At the highest concentration of glyphosate 17 g/L. Growth curves reached considerably lower levels here than at lower concentrations of glyphosate. Control samples and the samples on the concentration of glyphosate 1.7 mg/L and 0, 17mg/L increased similarly in most cases. This implies that in these concentrations there was no inhibition of bacteria whatsoever. The least susceptible genera to glyphosate were lactobacilli. The highest susceptibility to glyphosate was detected in bovine bacteria and the lowest in chicken bacteria.

Measurement uncertainty in diagnostics of insulating materials

This work deals with measurement capacity and dissipation factor of capacitor with real dielectric in frequency range 20 Hz to 30 MHz. Liquid and solid dielectrics are measured by LCR instruments and by test fixtures, both from company Agilent. Relative permittivity and loss number are calculated for different instruments settings. The general aim is to specify the influence of parameters as frequency, voltage, integration time and thickness of material on the uncertainties of primary and secondary quantities for measurement.

The main goal of the Master's thesis is to create complex economic analysis of company Mlýn Havlíčkův Brod, Ltd. for period from 2007 to 2013. This economic analysis will consist of evaluation of economic and financial situation of chosen company, of analysis of its competitive position, its strengths and weaknesses and also of its comparison with few competitors. There will also be analysis of industry, where chosen company operates. The reader of this thesis should gain knowledge about mill products market in Czech Republic as well as about way of working and about results of company Mlýn Havlíčkův Brod. The thesis itself is then divided into two parts, theoretical part, which will summarize all models, methods and indexes used and practical part, which will be focused on economic analysis itself and on interpretation of its results.
