Harmonization of the Czech stock market legislation after EU entrance

The bachelor thesis deals with the current legislative situation in the Czech capital market. Aims to analyze the currently applicable regulations which were influenced by European harmonization trends particularly MiFID. In the first chapter are defined key terms associated with the stock market. The second chapter deals with the MiFID and its transposition into national legal systems of the Member States of the European Union. The last chapter is devoted to Czech laws which were affected by MiFID. Thesis aims to provide a concise and comprehensive overview of the current situation in the capital market in relation to key European events.

Data Box Management in Holding Type Companies

This diploma thesis deals with the effects of Act 300/2008 about electronic acts and authorized document conversion to legal entities entered in the Commercial Register. The goal of thesis is to affect the extent of changes that legal entities had to undergo after the launch of the Information System of Data Boxes, and to show on the examples of commercial solutions how these changes can be effectively addressed. The work contains two case studies on which the typical practical problems of large companies are shown. First chapter contains an overview of the eGovernment introduced in the Czech Republic, and detailed description of the Information System of Data Boxes and data messages. This chapter also discusses the electronic signing of documents and associated problems. The second chapter lists the changes which legal entities had to settle, and also solution is mentioned, especially for large companies, helping to streamline the processes associated with receiving, sending and archiving of data messages. The third chapter shows the difficulties that come along with operating the product for effective management of data boxes and proposals of their possible solutions.

Budget implementation in the specific conditions of the town Ceske Velenice

The main aim of this thesis is to inroduce the legal of municipalities in the Czech Republic and their economy. This thesis deal with problems performance budget cities Ceske Velenice in the area receipts and expenses in time year 2006, 2007 and 2008. The first part is theoretical that contains concepts used in conjunction with municipalities and municipal budget. The second part describes economy of municipality Ceske Velenice and it contains their analysis of municipalities and budget for years 2006, 2007 and 2008. The last part I valorize income from operations cities in single years tracked period.

The European Union Budget

The bachelor thesis deals with the EU budget. The thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter deals with unusualness of the EU budget and describes its divergences from international organization budget and from national budget. The second chapter analyses legal background as to the EU budget, precisely as to the budgetary procedure. The thesis takes into consideration the Lisbon treaty changes. The third chapter deals with income of the EU budget and defines the terms "net balance with the EU" and "British discount". The fourth chapter describes EU expenditure. The fifth chapter focuses on the necessity of reforming the budget and contains suggestions of chosen member states.

Treaty reinsurance of truck transport

The Bachelor thesis is dealing with the truck transport, more accurately with its legal regulation in Czech republic. Main area of interest is the domestic truck transport. For an elaboration of international truck transport would be another bachelor thesis needed. By the domestic truck transport deals the thesis above all with the description and evaluation of the legal regulation of this question in Czech republic. Within this description was neccessary to mention the contract of a transport of an article, to which is given one whole chapter. The evaluation, which is with one exception generally positive, contains the ending of thesis.

Regulation of lobbying in Canada

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to define lobbying, actors of lobbying and their lobby activities within the frame of theoretical models of regulation of lobbying and subsequently apply these definitions to specific levels of Canadian government arrangement. The main question then is why it should be legislated to regulate lobbying. The structure of the Canadian organization of the State corresponds to two institutional levels. The first chapter is devoted to definitions of lobbying, and its actors. This chapter is the analysis of legal regulations related to lobbying. The second chapter examines the theoretical models of legal frameworks regulating lobbying. The third chapter of the above definition of lobbying is first applied to the Canadian federal level. The fourth and last chapter of the bachelor thesis gets to the very core of the topic, which monitors regulation of lobbying at the provincial level, which has included into its legal framework and consequently leads to a comparison of these legal frameworks regulating the lobbying in Canada.

The Methodics of Investigation of the Sexual Crime Acts (chosen issues) Key words: rape, sexual abuse, investigation Summary This submitted diploma thesis deals with procedures of investigation of crimes rape and sexual abuse, which are two most serious offences within sexual criminal acts. In this work I analyze only some of the most essential moments of investigation, because the theme as a whole exceeds the required extent of the diploma thesis. Most attention is paid to contacts of the prosecuting and adjudicating bodies with the victim and to the acts in which the victim is involved. The introductory part analyzes basic contemporary and prospective legal regulation of all sexual criminal acts given in the present and new criminal codes. Offences of rape and sexual abuse are explicated in more detail. Then the work brings a criminalistic characteristics of these offences with basic statistical data. It points out the decreasing detection rate of these crimes over the last few years. Within the criminalistic characteristics, the thesis shows typical ways of committing these crimes, typical offenders, victims and typical traces. It points out that most offenders committing rape and sexual abuse come from the backgrounds close to the victim. When discussing typical traces, special attention is paid...

The relationship of independence and accountability of central banks on the example of the CNB and the FED

The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the development and changes in the relationship of political and economic independence and accountability of central banks on the example of CNB and FED. I use the method of comparative analysis of the qualitative characteristics of central banks. The theoretical and methodological part is focused on the historical evolution of central banking, as well as on the relationship between central bank independence and its accountability, credibility and transparency. The next section is devoted to analyzing the benefits and the risks of an independent status. The largest chapter deals with the ways of measuring the legal and the actual independence of central banks, the calculation of legal independence from the selected indices are applied to the CNB. Finally I make an evaluation of degree of independence of the CNB and FED and I try to explain what degree of independence and accountability is optimal.

Takeover bid

The bachelor thesis deals with legal form of a takeover bid. In the first instance the definition and the fundamental division of takeover bids are specified. The following chapter concerns the purpose, functions and the economical nature of takeover bids. The chapter concerning European legal form treats the Directive 2004/25/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 April 2004 on takeover bids. The main part of the thesis devotes legal form of takeover bids in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the Act No. 104/2008 on takeover bids and on amendments of other acts. In the chapter entitled "Mandatory bid" essential specifics are explicated. The order of chapters illustrates the whole process of a takeover bid.

Entrance of Czech Firms on Chinese Market - Economic and Legal Terms

First two chapters of the bachelor thesis concern economic situation of China in the 21st century and development of reciprocal trade between Czech Republic and China. Next part deals with legal terms of entrance of Czech firms on Chinese market. It informs about legal forms of doing business, protection of intellectual property and requisition of contractual clauses. The following chapter describes questions of entrance of Czech firms on Chinese market through economic specifics. It informs about investment terms, protective measures of China, potential risks, special economic zones and about national institutions which support Czech export to China. Final chapter deals with examples of concrete cooperation and perspectives of Czech firms on Chinese market in the near future.
