Development of communication and social skills in children with autism Group social skills training and communication of children with autism at a young age

The bachelor thesis focuses on issues of the communication and social skills development at the children with Autism at their younger school age. This bachelor thesis should provide a comprehensive overview of the issue. There are characterized specific problems occuring at those children and their consequences in the everyday life and there is also described their behaviour and explained a basis on which we should approach to them. In the theoretical part generally I am trying to give the most important information relating to this topic, which should serve as a specific summary of findings even for the lay public. The greatest contribution of this thesis should be a creation of my own methodological material for a group training of social skills for children with the autism spectrum disorders, oriented to children at the younger school age. These methodological sheets could be used by special education teachers for the trainings of social skills in various facilities or centres or they could serve to parents who would like to develop their children´s abilities and skills in their home environment. The aim of this thesis was to create the own methodological material for the group social skills training of the children with Autism at the younger school age and then to verify it in practice. To obtain all the information about individual clients it was necessary to study all the available documentation I got from the Special Educational Centre on basis of a written consent of the parents. For additional information I interviewed the parents. In the empirical part there I devoted to my own ideas for the group social skills trainings. These trainings were conducted in the Special Educational Centre and they were divided into ten sessions held once a week for one hour. I worked with five children who have the autism spectrum disorder and they were aged from 6 to 12 years. These trainings were focused on the most significant problem areas at these children. Each time I specified a different problem area and tried to improve it. Nevertheless all the ideas have in common the fact, that they have been unified by a theme of the friendship. This created material could serve as a methodological tool of the social skills training for the special education teachers, parents and organizations dealing with children with the autism issues.

Qualitative research in the aplication of desinfection and sterilization of nursing unit

Abstract The thesis focuses on the application of disinfection and sterilization in the surgical unit. These methods are an integral part of nursing care and they prevent creation, transmission and spread of infection. The qualitative research was carried out in the surgical department in the Hospital Prachatice a.s.. The method used in the research is an unstandardized in-depth interview, in the second phase extended to a structured observation. There were set three objectives. Objective 1: to determine the ways of application of disinfection in the surgical unit, Objective 2: to determine the ways of application of sterilization in the surgical unit, Objective 3: to determine whether nurses observe the principles of disinfection and sterilization in the surgical unit. On the basis of these objectives, there were formed three research questions: What types of applications are used for disinfection in the surgical unit? What types of sterilization applications are used in the surgical unit? What principles of disinfection and sterilization are observed in the surgical unit? From the results of the in-depth interview and observation, it was discovered that physical and chemical disinfection is applied in the surgical unit. The employees use the services of central sterilization. In the surgical unit, there is not used any type of sterilization, except of the pre-sterilisation preparation. While disinfection, the employees follow the correct procedure, but they do not always use the correct amount of disinfectant. As the possibility of improvement, I would suggest to carry out training and remind that the recommended concentrations of disinfectants are sufficiently effective. There is no need to increase their amount hence it increases the financial costs of the surgical unit.

The theoretical part is focused on the development and importance of the EU, EU documents, which influenced the creation of single internal market, on European and Czech institutions that are responsible for monitoring, coordinating and ensuring processes associated with the formation of the internal market and especially the free movement of services. The practical part describes the implementation of the Service Directive in the EU internal market into the legal system of Czech Republic, the law on the free movement of services and especially analysis of the activities of PSCs. The conclusion is aimed on summarizing the results of the analysis.

Fundamental analysis of selected stocks

The interest of diploma work is focused on fundamental analysis of selected stocks. Fundaments which were taken into account were earnings per share, sales per share and book value per share. The first part of diploma work describes theoretical background and investment strategies based on P/E, P/S and P/BV ratio. Following part is paying attention to analyzed period, the selection of analyzed stocks and also to the analysis itself. Analysis is performed on twenty stocks traded on London Stock Exchange, on the Main Market. Analyzed period is from 1996 to 2005. In each year of analysis were created three portfolios based on investment strategies connected with P/E, P/S and P/BV ratios. For each selected portfolios was analyzed rate of return. The rate of return was analyzed in different times from creation of the portfolio. The last -- third part includes results of performed analysis, which was performed for each year separately. Result includes analysis of selection of stocks to portfolios and overall analysis of rate of return from of different portfolios. This part of diploma work also includes reflection of limits and weaknesses of performed analysis. Diploma work proved market anomaly. All investment strategies, which were based on ex post analysis, proved its ability to bring higher rate of return than the market.

Electronic documentation in nursing practise

As a consequence of the quick development of information technologies there has been a natural and gradual transition to the electronic data storage in nursing. The firstversions of the software application for such documentation have been developed in cooperation with professionals dealing with information technologies in the States of the European Union and it is the nurses who decide what the content of the nursing documentation will be. Therefore it is very important that the nurses {--} as the main users of this software {--} are actively involved in the creation process of the electronic nursing documentation. The advantage of introducing the electronic nursing documentation is filing of the important data about a client in the NIS where it is possible to retrieve the history anytime. In contrast to the traditional records, it is easier to read these records and it is not possible to cross any information out or lose it. Further, it saves nurses{\crq} time, it automatically records time and name of the medical worker who logged in the NIS and it meets the recommendations of the accreaditation standards. A qualitative research was used in the research part of this thesis. A semi-standardized interview with the head nurses and a structured interview with the senior staff nurses and ward sisters of the departments of internal medicine and of surginal wards of the selected hospitals were used to collect the data. Further, the method of content analysis was used to compare the electronic nursing documentation in the individua surveyed hospitals. The structured interview with the senior staff nurses and ward nurses was not done in the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s. because the programme of the electronic nursing documentation has not been started there. Case reports are created based on the gained interview results. The case reports comprise the research base on which categorized charts in which the research results are recorded are based. The research was conducted from January till June 2009. The surveyed group consists of head nurses, two senior staff nurses and two ward sisters of the departments of internal medicine and of surginal wards of the selected hospitals of the chosen regions of the Czech Republic. The research was conducted in the South Bohemian Region {--} the Hospital České Budějovice, a.s., the Pilsen Region {--} the Teaching Hospital Plzeň, the South Moravian Region {--} the Teaching Hospital Brno and the Vysočina Region {--} the Hospital Jihlava, p.o. Four research questions were defined at the beginning of our research in order to achieve our goal. The research questions 1: Does the electronic nursing documentation contain all phases of the nursing process (anamnesis, diagnosis, care plan and assessment)? The research questions 2: Is the nursing taxonomy a part of the electronic nursing documentation of each patient? How is the record of the nursing diagnosis created (crossing x filling in)? The research questions 3: Which nursing model has become the basis for the nursing anamnesis of the electronic nursing documentation? The research questions 4: Can the nurses take an active part in the preparation process of the electronic nursing documentation? All our research questions have been answered. We defined the following hypotheses based on the results of our research: H1: The electronic nursing documentation contains nursing anamnesis based on the Marjory Gordon{\crq}s conceptual model. H2: The nurses are offered to cooperate in the creation process of the electronic nursing documentation. H3: There is a taxonomy part in the nursing documentation. The aim of the thesis is to determine the level of respondents'opinions for the needs of introducing the headmaster`s profession and its influence on the quality of the school management with a potential impact on the overall level of education in the Czech Republic. The thesis also submits analyses of levels of knowledge in certain areas of management competences and assesses their importance for management work of the headmaster as basis for setting standards and headmaster` s career. The first part of the thesis include theoretical knowledge of school management. It introduces the preparation and filling of school managerial staff. It also introduces the creation of a competency model as a tool for selection, evaluation and further development of training school headmasters. The protection of information in an organization

The protection of information in an organization is an often debated issue today. This Bachelor Thesis outlines the issue of the protection of information in an organization specifically in the economic sector of insurance. To be clearly organized the Thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. At first the theoretical part deals with the individual steps for creation of the security policy and the content of the most important elements ensuring the information security in general. Afterwards, the Thesis already focuses on the area of insurance directly and analyzes in detail the solution of privacy policy in this area, what data about the client are collected by insurance companies and how the data are treated. The review about the current state of the information security in the Czech Republic is also stated here to get a better idea. The practical part is occupied with the comparison of the products and services, which are offered by the selected companies specializing in the information security in the area of insurance. Then the result of the executed study is presented through the graphical summary, which is listed in the conclusion of this Thesis.

Ownership structure is not from the perspective of management as problematic, but the creation of financial structure is not so easy. Therefore, the thesis deals with the various components of current assets such as inventories, receivables and cash resources and their management. The practical part is aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of the management of current assets in Tradeko, Ltd., where at the conclusion are summarized the results of analysis.
