Tools for visualisation of data from 3D laser scanners
Střižík, Jakub ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
Master thesis deals with the creation of the data visualization measured by 3D laser scanner using the Point Cloud method. Measured data were parameterized after loading for use in programming environment of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and in platform XNA. Individual data points forms the center of defined cubes which are displayed and create a scene where is possible to move through a user input in the form of a keyboard or mouse. Created algorithms were analyzed to determine the total running speed of the program, the individual as well as critical sections. The algorithms were optimized to a higher running speed of the program on the basis of analyzed data. Optimization was focused on the selection of retrieved data and on the method of their saving within the program environment. The next optimization process was based on the using of the other method for displaying of measured data points. Individual data points were displayed in form of square 2D texture replacing the cube. This square is rotating according to move of observer. Designed algorithm optimization leads to faster running of the program.

Faith inspired by living creation according to Psalm 104
Čmelík, Pavel ; Prudký, Martin (advisor) ; Sláma, Petr (referee)
Faith inspired by living creation according to Psalm 104, Bless the LORD, O my soul! This work is concerned with the structure of Psalm 104, in various ways partition of Psalm's motives by various authors. It is aimed at analyzing of translations of selected parts, which are concerned with living creation. is concerned with variants of translation of some Hebrew (Greek and Latin) terms of animals (ibex, daman) in Czech. It compares the Psalm 104 with Egyptian Hymn to the Sun and other similar creation texts in the Old Testament. In the Old Testament is among the texts at first creation's report in Gn 1, others creations Psalms (Ps 8, Ps 19 and Ps 146) and 38-41 chapter of Job. Through many thematic similarities and disimilarities in ideas, it looks like very significant differences in the form of the texts presentations. While Psalm 104 is a praise of God in personal relationship to the God, the report of creation in Gn 1 is unpersonal story abote the God and in case of Jb 38-41 is a preaching speech of God to man. At more deeply meditation over the Psalm 104 and other similar texts, which arn't ment in more detail, is noticeable similarity of Psalm 104 with the report of the Flood in Gn 7-9 and analogical ancient myths in Mesopotamia. Also, this work is interested in a question of mythical,...

Assessment of the Postural Stability Disorders in Hemiparetic Patients by Posturography
Bestová, Zuzana ; Tichá, Marie (referee) ; Švestková, Olga (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to establish the criteria for the evaluation of disorders of postural stability in hemiparetic patients group using data obtained by using static posturography. We have created a group of 21 hemiparetic patients who were examined at the age of 40 - 55 years in the past, and the control group of 20 volunteers at the same age without any disorder of postural stability. Testing was carried out on the device Posturograph STP-03, which serves inter alia to assess the postural stability of individuals in quiet standing. First, subjects were examined in the standing on the broad base support and then in the standing on the narrow base of support (feet together). In each of these two cases, we performed measurements with eyes open and then eyes closed. The values of all standing parameters, which had been measured for hemiparetic patients by using static posturography in the past, were compared to the results measured in the control group of volunteers. Using non-parametric Mann-Whitney test, we have demonstrated that the parameters Way, Area, LAT and the AP have statistically significant distinction between the two groups of people pursued. Through non-parametric Wilcoxon signed-rank test for two related samples, we have also confirmed the influence of difficult standing conditions to...

FcεRI and Kit signal to actin cytoskeleton via different pathways
Šimíček, Michal ; Drbal, Karel (referee) ; Dráber, Petr (advisor)
Mast cells are key effector cells of the immune system whose exact physiological functions have been the subject of much debate. They have been mentioned mostly as the drivers of allergic and inflammatory reactions via allergens triggering their high affinity receptors for IgE (FcεRI). However, recent findings implicate their important role also in other innate immune functions like host protection from bacterial and viral infections. Agent recognized by surface receptor initialize various intracellular signaling pathways leading to cell response. Thus, better understanding of signal transduction in mast cells is important in development of new therapeutic approaches. Early phases of mast cell activation mediated by FcεRI and/or Kit, a receptor for stem cell factor (SCF), involve phosphorylation of the transmembrane adaptor protein Non-T cell activation linker (NTAL) and mast cell spreading. Morphological studies of mast cells derived from bone marrow of mice deficient in NTAL (NTAL knock out, NTAL -/-) revealed markedly reduced spreading on fibronectin after stimulation with antigen (Ag) alone or in combination with SCF, when compared to wild type (WT) cells. Subsequent quantification of cell area and analysis of other mophological parameters confirmed these observations. Mast cell activation was...

Food allergy in patients elder than 14 years with atopic dermatitis - clinical significance of certain immunological parameters
Čelakovská, Jarmila ; Ettler, Karel (advisor) ; Bystroň, Jaromír (referee) ; Dastychová, Eliška (referee)
Food allergy is now recognized as a worldwide medical problem, as food allergy prevalence is gradually increasing. The importance of food allergy in children with atopic eczema, especially during first three years of life, was confirmed by extensive studies. Up to now, studies dealing with food allergy in adult patients suffering from atopic eczema, are rare. It was shown that severe eczema could be worsened by pollen related foods in studies with limited number of patients. However, the significance of food allergy to common food allergens (cow milk, wheat, soy, egg) in adult patients with atopic eczema is very likely underestimated. The aim of our study was to follow the occurence of food allergy to cow milk and wheat flour, respectively, and to evaluate the clinical value of atopy patch test, elimination diet, and other diagnostic methods in the diagnostic work - up of food allergy in patients with atopic eczema over 14 years of age compared to double - blind, placebo controlled food challenge, which is considered as a gold standard in diagnostic work - up of food allergy. Food allergy to cow milk and wheat flour was confirmed in five patients (3,4 %) from 149 patients enrolled to this study (in one patient simultaneously to cow milk and wheat, in four patients to wheat) by double - blind,...

Chapter 1 deals with the general characteristics of the International Labour Organisation. Chapter 2 focuses on the relation between international and national law. It especially concentrates on how this issue is dealt with in the Constitution of the Czech Republic, i.e. introduction to ILO from the point of public law. Chapter 3 includes questions of international organisations dealing with social issues. It focuses on relations with the United Nations Organisation and the Council of Europe. Chapter 4 concentrates on the International Labour Organisation, its history, structure, organisation and function. I will focus mainly...

Major Topics in the Works of Christina Rossetti and Dante Gabriel Rossett
Doležalová, Martina ; Ženíšek, Jakub (referee) ; Grmelová, Anna (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the most significant topics in the works of Gabriel Rossetti and Christina Rossetti, members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, formed in the Victorian era, who were influenced by the aesthetics of the movement and also by the subsiding Romanticism. This study discusses such characteristically Pre-Raphaelite topics in the poems of both authors as unfulfilled love related to the death of a young beautiful woman, or the anticipation of death and doom. Some more modern and provocative themes, such as prostitution, women rivalry and the role of woman in Victorian society are also examined. The thesis claims that the oeuvres of both authors were, to some extent, affected by their lives and their distinctive attitudes, often diametrically diverse, which is mostly palpable in their contradictory perception of religion, faith and redemption as shown in the collections The House of Life and Monna Innominata. The thesis also offers a comparison of Gabriel's well-known artistic production with his less renowned literary output, highly valued by himself and closely connected with his paintings. One of the ambitions of this study is also an attempt to present Gabriel's poetry from an angle which would show that it is as engaging as his artistic creation, but - unlike his sister's - has not yet...
