Analysis of Material Flow During Cam Forging
Kopečný, Adam ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the optimization of final position of overlaps on a forged cam. This part is manufactured in Šroubárna Kyjov, spol. s r.o. The cam is made from ČSN 14 109 (100Cr6) steel. The thesis is focused on the optimization of overlaps arising due to pressed burrs on the edges of the semifinished forging. Currently, the final position of these overlaps is very close to the edge of the pre-forged hole of the cam. Undesired chipping of material occurs during machining of the hole to the exact dimension. The final position of the overlaps is optimized by using the numerical simulation in Simufact Forming 15.0, including a verification simulation for optimal parameter settings. Various diameters of semifinished products, turned tools, and modification of shapes of the tools are tested in the thesis to prevent occurrence of the overlaps in undesired positions.
Link layer LAN network security
Sedláček, Jiří ; Grenar, David (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis is about security concerning local area networks of the data link layer. The goal of the thesis is to characterize basic functioning of the ISO/OSI reference model as well as describing how the data link layer works to understand the topic, specify the possibilities of attacking the data link layer (for example rogue DHCP server, ARP spoofing, CAM table overflow, attacking the spanning tree protocol and others) and possible security measures to protect against the attacks. The purpose of the thesis is also a suggestion for assembling an experimental network relating to the topic of the thesis. Theoretical part determines the most important protocols of the data link layer, methods of abusing them and protection of those protocols. The practical part contains a brief description of the attacks, used utilities for accomplishing the attacks, a network topology, execution of the attacks, detection and protection against the attacks as well as briefly summarizing the results. The thesis also sums up some of the possible recommended configuration to repel the attacks and suggesting how to behave in a cyber environment. For the purpose of simulating the attacks, Kali Linux and Windows 10 are the operating systems that were used the most in this thesis.
Use of the CAM software PowerMILL 2018 for machining of a motorbike lever
Šprta, Pavel ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with designing of manufacturing process of motorcycle lever prototype using PowerMILL 2018. The research part of the thesis contains analysis of materials used in the production of motorcycle levers and the introduction into CAD/CAM systems. The practical part contains choice of material, fixtures, cutting tools and solution of NC program itself. Summary of used strategies follows and ecenomical evaluation is performed at the end of the thesis.
CNC pocket milling of aeronautical alloys
Wiecková, Kateřina ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Ohnišťová, Petra (advisor)
The aim of the work is to generate and verify pocket milling technology in aviation alloy 7475-T7351 with respect to machine time, surface and machining productivity. First part of the work is theoretical analysis of cycles of milling of simple and complex pockets. Next part of the work is focused on the desing and optimization of strategy of milling of simple and complex pockets in CAM programs and its experimental verification.
On the milling of turbine blades
Raška, Tomáš ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is an introduction to milling of turbine blades. It is focused on description of turbines, of materials use for their manufacturing, of milling, of CAD/CAM systems, methods used to generate trajectories on complex surfaces and presentation of principal issues encountered during milling of turbine blades.
CNC Mill Control System
Hájek, Luděk ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with designing construction and control system of 3-axis hobby CNC router using LinuxCNC. All axes are driven by Microcon SX 24-2341 stepper motors, which are provided with power from Leadshine M542 stepper drivers. LinuxCNC is installed on real-time PC with Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS and it is connected with drivers via breakout board. CAD/CAM software Autodest Fusion 360 is used for graphical designing of final product, creating toolpaths and generating G-code. The Bachalors thesis contains research of construction elements, possibilities of CNC controlling, calculation and selection of suitable motors, design and documentation of CNC control system including documentation of all settings of LinuxCNC and CAM part of Fusion 360 as well as example of final product, created using this CNC router.
Výroba desek plošných spojů pomocí CNC zařízení s využitím Open Source nástrojů
HOUŠŤ, Milan
This bachelor thesis aims to describe the production process of prototype and small series printed circuit boards on a computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling machine, and to document a practical reproducible working procedure using CAD-to-CAM files and open source tools to create a CNC control file. In the analysis section the results of the proposed procedures will be presented using a specific printed circuit board as example.
Software for Data Processing and Control of CNC Machine
Kraicinger, Lukáš ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the design and impelementation of a control system for a CNC machine producing gears with specific integrated CAM system. The study includes practical verification of system functionality, which includes the design and creation of an electronic circuit on this machine. A prototype of a 6-axis machine is being developed at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering BUT in Brno as a master thesis simultaneously with the creation of this term project. It is a compact automated gear producing machine (all in one) which requires only appropriate semifinished product and correctly set parameters of teeth using the touch screen on the machine.
