Preparedness of the Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic during terroristic misuse of nerve agents

Using questionnaire enquiry, this diploma thesis tries to find out the level of knowledge of single members of basic rescue bodies involved in the Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic in the area of nerve agents and subsequently compare this knowledge of single basic bodies. Another aim, which is based on literature examination and information available, is to suggest an appropriate procedure for Integrated Rescue System action in case of misuse of nerve agents by terrorists. The suggested procedure of activities of bodies involved in the Integrated Rescue System could serve as an example for establishing a model plan of activities of bodies involved the Integrated Rescue System in case of events with suspicion of terrorist attack performed by nerve agents or other highly toxic chemical agents. A comprehensive overview on nerve agents could be used for deepening and broadening of knowledge of single Integrated Rescue System bodies. Although such a terrorist attack has not happened in the Czech Republic yet, it cannot be excluded that it will occur in the future. Hence it is very important so that the Integrated Rescue System is perfectly equipped both materially and technically, and single Integrated Rescue System bodies are trained and educated systematically. It is better to be theoretically and practically well prepared, and never to use this knowledge and skills than to improvise and rely on decision carried out only on the place of disaster.

Possible threat and preparedness of population for self-protection and providing mutual help

The diploma thesis is focused on determination of perception of the nuclear power station Temelín as a potential source of a threat perceived by the population living in the area of emergency planning, and determination of perception of possible sources of threat to selected subjects, such as swimming pool, winter stadium, breweries, freezing plant, etc. located in the area of the town České Budějovice. The aim of the diploma thesis is also to find out and compare the level of the current state of awareness and preparedness of the population living in the area of emergency planning of the nuclear power station Temelín informed in particular by guides and calendars published by the authorization holder, and of the population living in the area of the town České Budějovice for the eventuality of emergence of an extraordinary event. The hypothesis of the diploma thesis assumed that awareness and preparedness of the population living in the area of emergency planning of the nuclear power station Temelín should be on higher level in comparison with the population living in the area of the town České Budějovice. It is evident from the results of the questionnaire enquiry that awareness of the population living in both these areas is approximately on the same level, and thus the hypothesis of the diploma thesis was not confirmed. The proposal for improving awareness and preparedness of the population will help to explain the issue given to the population, and results and conclusions will be provided to the Department of Crisis Management of the South Bohemian Regional Authority.

This thesis deals with cultural monuments and appreciation their importance in regional development. This work monitors microregion Pelhřimov. The main goal of this thesis is analysis of position cultural monuments and finding their importance in microregion Pelhřimov. This goal reaches with questonnaire survey and quided interview. Additional goal attendances by selected subjects. Partial objective is analysis of secondary data in strategic planes and financial mechanisms that is as instrument to achievment the main goal.

Use event marketing in marketing program

The aim of bachelor work is to introduce the event marketing, defining its objectives and understanding of the substance. The first part deals with the theoretical perspectives on event marketing, its importance, role in the communications mix and its place among the four P. The second part looks at the experience of event marketing. As a case study presentation was chosen by INTERNET CZ, as, and its participation in the Forum Invex Forum in Brno. Part of this work are the results of a questionnaire survey.

Reducing operational costs of public service by accepting conception of the "paperless office"

The goal of this study was to confirm or to reject author's assumption, that is, within the frame of ongoing reform of public service during the formulation and implementation of information systems in the public service authorities, was aimed not just for functionality (performance, reliability, safeness) of these systems, but at least equally for their operational economization too. In this study, the conception of the paperless office has thought to be the symbol of purposeful, effective and economical system, of which realization is the result of perfect former preparation, inter alia, reengineering (analysis, revision, reduction and optimization) of existing processes. Only the most necessary assortment and quantity of paper documents which circulate within the given system is the evidence of such preparation. By gathering and processing information about the conception of the paperless office, about history of formulation and implementation of information systems in the public service authorities, by studying Theory of bureaucracy, and finally, by processing data from questionnaire itself, filled by public service authorities (bureaus), has author received sufficient quantity of relevant information to reject stated assumption. At the end of the study author introduces set of remedies, of which direct or transposed result should be savings in operational costs of public service.

Revitalisation programme of the municipality Nebahovy (near Prachatice)

The presented bachelor work is attended to a rural development, more concretely to an elaboration of the widely and complexly conceived Revitalisation programme of the municipality Nebahovy (near Prachatice) that is based on an analysis of existing data, on a field survey and questioning of experts and local inhabitants. A theoretical part of this work is concentrated on a territory characterization of the municipality of Nebahovy and on the literature concerning the solved territory and the rural development in general. The structured and solvable Revitalisation programme of the municipality is proposed in the practical part the work. The themes incurred from the field survey, from the questionnaire research among the local inhabitants and from the controlled interviews with the experts represented an important role here. To contribute to the development of the solved territory is the aim of this work.

The practical part is focused (by using the results of a questionnaire survey and interview school management) determination of tools used in PR and their effectiveness, potential communication channels and factors that influence students'decisions on the selection of the following schools. After reading this thesis, the reader should have also an idea of how to evaluate the satisfaction of customers (in this case the students).

Diploma paper compares theoretical data of questions of leading people with established practice. The information about established practice in leading people was acquired by the help of questioning among managers. The aim of the paper is to evaluate informaion from practice of leading people and to compare them with methods, instructions and recommendations described in theory.
