Mráz, Lukáš ; Klimeš, Ivan (referee) ; Kopecký, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with the relationship between modern sound technologies and the aesthetics of modern film music. The research era has been from early 90's to the present. The main goal of this work is to define the aesthetic quality that huge developments in the field of tone generators helped to bring into the area of film music, and describe in detail the major features of this type of sound technology. The phenomena which relates chosen sound, musical software and hardware are analyzed as well as the role of video-games and technological innovations, which had a big influence on creating the aesthetics of modern film music. The method of this work is analyzing the depending technological components of tone generators, the inside structure and the entire developing and social context and effects, which have for aesthetics of the film music. Next this work is also trying to answer the question why are some of the aspects of technology preferred more than the others. It watches the influence of commerce and the shape of the social nets, where the authors and users of the sample technologies meet.

Use of general and specific kinetic tests for prediction techniques of close combat
Šorm, Daniel ; Barták, Erik (referee) ; Vágner, Michal (advisor)
Title of thesis! Use of general and specific kinetic tests for prediction techniques of close combat. Objective Of thesis: My thesis deals with finding content validity and curriculal validity behind sampled kinetic tests for choice of human for the course of close combat. MethodI Thesis is working up like empiric kvantitative research of observation type and notice diachronic dependences between criteria variable and choice continuous independent variables. For analyses of relations and dependences among variables were used methods descriptive and inference statistics. Criteria variables were obtained with sum of evaluations close combat techniques such as composote score. Techniques were evaluations on the scale proposed by Vagner (2008). For preliminary of date analysis was used method of multiple correllations. Algorithm of all possible regressions was used for the propose of set variables and regression triplet was used to evaluate regrression model. Dates were processed with programs such as SPSS 15.0 for Windows, NCSS (Hintze, 2004), and QC Expert 2.7. Results! Specific kinetic tests reached higher curriculal validity to the acquirement of close vombat techiques than general kinetic tests. Every test proved the content validity as satisfactory. With algorithm of all possible regressions we...

Software Requirements in the Life Cycle of Development Process
Bystřická, Radka ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Stanovská, Iva (referee)
Software requirements are an integral part of the processes of development and maintenance of information systems. Working with requirements is not an easy thing and their poor understanding and incorrect implementation may adversely affect the project. Dissatisfaction arises at the both sides of project because customers do not get what they have wanted and development team does worthless and unnecessary work from their point of view. Problems with requirements and with setting up the right processes to deal with them are the area of Requirements Management. Over the years there was defined a few best practices within this scope. This thesis describes some basic techniques, methods and rules. There is also a requirements splitting into five types. For each type of requirements there are described their specifics, including the typical problems that arise in their context. There are several methodologies of development and maintenance of information systems. Each of them adapts the requirements and processes of their elaboration a little bit differently. This depends on the basis of the methodologies. There are free methodologies described in this thesis. The Rational Unified Process is chosen as delegate of classic ones. Scrum and Feature Driven Development stands for agile methodologies. For each methodology there are first briefly outlined its basics and then described the roles, artifacts and processes in the context of the requirements.

Operating instructions of the small medical institutions and its building - technical solution
Chromý, Lukáš ; Bártová, Jiřina (advisor)
4 2. Summary Elaborate the operating instruction and give it to reconcile to Agency of control of public health is liability of all owners of medical institutions, implicit from law of control of public health ( 258/2000 Sb.). This operating instruction should include especially steps leading to minimizate the risk of incidence of nosocomial infections. Practically is nevertheless risk of incidence about 10 percent. Exact rules, how should the operating instruction appears are not determinated. Its version is depend on discretion of the owner of the medical institution. But it must contain rules determinated by several implementing regulations. Activities, to which is necessary to elaborate the operating instruction and give it for reconciliation to Agency of control of public health , can be opened only when the operating instruction was reconciliated by this Agency. Persons, who must elaborate the operating instructions, must get acquainted with these instructions all other members, working at the workplace provide and control it's keeping. This is also controlled by Agency of control of public health, that can direct the owner to put into effect some alterations of this instructions, when the steps included in this instructions do not lead decrease of appearance of nosocomial infections.

Aggregated Indicators in Ecological Economics
Syrovátka, Miroslav ; Brůha, Jan (advisor) ; Šauer, Petr (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to analyze three aggregated indicators and put them into the context of Ecological Economics. The second chapter points out that different sustainability perspectives imply distinct sustainability policies. Ecological Economics is outlined in contrast to Environmental Economics. Following three chapters analyze selected aggregated indicators. Aggregated indicators can provide quick insight into complex problems; however, their virtue depends to a large extent on the method of aggregation. Therefore, the interpretation of aggregated indicators should always be conditioned by their specific methodology. The Ecological Footprint is called technologically skeptical indicator of sustainability, applicable rather on a global than a national scale. Even on a lower scale the Ecological Footprint can illustrate demands of a given population for renewable natural resources. A major shortcoming of the Index of Sustainable Economic Welfare is the integration of welfare and sustainability into one indicator since it does not allow for a simple interpretation of its results. High correlation between the Human Development Index and the indicators of economic activity limits the usefulness of the former. Yet, it can serve as a basis for further evolution of the concept and measurement of human...

Evaluation of Selected Indicators Received from the Morning Orthostatic Tests, Identifying Correlation Dependencies With Respect to the Training Load of the ČSB Athletes
Dolečková, Veronika ; Sucharda, Jan (advisor) ; Ondráček, Jan (referee)
Název práce: Hodnocení vybraných ukazatelů získaných z ranních ortostatických testů, hledání korelačních závislostí vzhledem k tréninkovému zatížení u sportovců ČSB. The evulation of selected indicators received from the moming orthostatic tests, searching for the correlative dependencies with respect to the training load ofthe ČSB athletes. 2

Simultaneous interpreting using a paper copy of the speech with a focus on "paper copy of the speech" and "subjectivity" as the two major variables
Jánský, Dušan ; Rejšková, Jana (referee) ; Abdallaova, Naděžda (advisor)
This theoretical-empirical work is focused on the dependence between the variables "paper copy of the speech" and "subjectivity" in simultaneous interpreting. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the hitherto research in this field has been covered and the explored questions ha ve been categorized within the paradigm of translation studies. Within the framework of the translational model by Heidemarie Salevsky, an attempt was made to identify and confine the major variables that occur in simultaneous interpreting with a paper copy ofthe speech. Then, based on past research on this subject, a detailed description was made ofthe factors paper and subjectivity. In addition, a categorization ofthe types of subjectivity was made for the analysis of the individua! papers. In the empirical part of this work, based on the available knowledge of the main factors and on the analysis of all speeches, a hypothesis was formulated on the dependence between the factors paper and subjectivity for the individua! speeches and for all speeches jointly. Furthermore, an auxiliary hypothesis was formulated on the dependence between paper, subjectivity and the studenťs class level (proficiency). After conducting the experiment and evaluating the individua! interpreting performances based on the evaluation method described in...

Foreign exchange risk management in the company IMP Jablonec
Vaculík, Martin ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Nývlt, Daniel (referee)
The diploma paper offers a complex view on hedging of a foreign exchange risk in a concrete company, which is highly dependent on export. Preliminary theoretical part sums up all the possibilities how to avoid risk, including hedging or financial derivatives. Specific attention is paid to in practise always more popular option strategies. Practical part then try to apply all the acquired knowledge on a concrete company. After the complex analysis of revenues and expenditures is presented analysis and evaluation of the whole hedging strategy.

The study of gamma-ray bursts detected by satellite RHESSI
Řípa, Jakub ; Mészáros, Attila (advisor) ; Karas, Vladimír (referee)
The beginning of the theoretical section of this diploma thesis is pointed to a discovery of the gamma-ray bursts. Then it is pointed to a brief historical summary of the different instruments dedicated to the GRB's field. Because the main aim of this work is the basic analysis and the classifying of the observed gamma-ray bursts by RHESSI solar satellite (which has observed more than 220 GRBs yet), a technical description of this instrument is introduced. It is followed by a part about gamma-ray production mechanisms. In this work there are also mentioned some related gamma-ray sources e.g. SGRs. The theoretical résumé is concluded by the description of the GRB's afterglows and some preferred models of their origins. In the proper study there was done the morphological classifying of the GRB's temporal profiles. Next there was studied the duration distribution with orientation to determine number of the subclasses using lognormal fits and the 2 test. Distribution of the radial distances of the gamma-ray sources can be examined by the log N vs. log P. dependence. The results are properly discussed and compared with the results of the BATSE instrument (including the V/Vmax test). In the final stage of this work, there is argued the dependence between the hardness ratios and the durations.
