The beginnings of clubbing in Prague
Kazdová, Darina ; Vaněk, Miroslav (advisor) ; Houda, Přemysl (referee)
This piece of work was meant to be countinuous to my bachelor's thesis. In that essay I was dealing with the history of Czech electronic dance music in general. This time I focused just on Prague and surrounding area. The Czech capital was deeply influenced by presence of tourists. After the Velvet revolution, they were suddenly able to visit Prague. And as they they were already familiar with electronic music, they could help to spread it here. The situation in Prague is also compared with the rest of the world (western civilization). In the first part of the essay, I describe the qualitative research and the method I have used, which is the oral history. I also enclose a brief vocabulary of frequently used terms that are not very well known to the greater audience, I suppose. The last part is the analysis of the interviews itself. The interviews were done with important narrators.

Intermediated Holding of Securities
Vondráček, Ondřej ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Elek, Štefan (referee) ; Pelikánová, Irena (referee)
Ph.D Thesis Mgr. Ondřej Vondráček LL.M Intermediated Holding of Securities September 2010 1 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with the phenomenon of the intermediated holding of securities which has recently changed the perception of the legal nature of securities as well as the rights connected with them. The intermediated holding of securities is a relatively new notion in the area of capital markets and securities law. In the same way globalisation has transformed the approach to the commerce of tangible goods it has also changed the market environment for the abstract creations represented by securities and rights connected with them. The impact of this metamorphosis has meant that securities are no longer traded as goods requiring physical transfer and delivery but are instead increasingly traded as intangibles circulating only through changes made to electronic records in securities accounts. When financial markets were dominated by certificated securities their holders had a direct relationship, both to the security and to its issuer. Due to the operation of a double legal fiction which, on the one hand, incorporated the rights flowing from the securities in the certificate serving as a corporeal means of transport for the record of these rights, and, on the other, granted to this certificate the status of...

Digitized experiments - The instrument for mastering of selected curriculum of general chemistry
Bartoš, Ivan ; Čipera, Jan (advisor) ; Havlíček, David (referee) ; Svoboda, Lubomír (referee)
By analyzing electronical tools, online applications and tutorials from Czech Republic and abroad I have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to create a flexible educational instrument which includes digitized chemical experiments for general chemistry. Following the analysis of present databases, CD ROMs and VHS containing pictured experiments I found out that a lot of spectacular experiments with pyrotechnical components have not been shooted at all or not in the range of "greater" chemicals quantity. The chosen programming language, in which FMDP was written, proved to be most efficient. This choice emerged from a discussion with programmers and was motivated in particular by larger possibilities of C# than HTML have. In addition to it the modification of the FMDP content is easy. The teachers with minimum of the PC-literacy can make any changes in FMDP, alternate any of its parts and adapt them for various internal and external conditions of education. With regard to the interview having found the needs of learners I filmed and digitized especially such experiments that present the chemical reactions accompanied by the rise of a smoke, light emission, explosion and a surprising turn of colours. On the basis of the statistical evaluation of statistical data containing marks achieved by...

Physiological development of posture and movement in pre-school children - vestibular apparatus
Bočínská, Helena ; Zounková, Irena (advisor) ; Syslová, Jana (referee)
This work is aimed at the development of posture and movement in pre-school children. Specific focus is placed on the control of posture and movement of vestibular apparatus. The study is drawn upon thorough research of Czech and English literature; and initially, some information was gained from foreign articles published in electronic magazines. The study concerns pre-school children and its emphasis is hence put on this particular period of human development. In presented findings, particular focus is put on anatomy, embryology, and neurophysiologic aspect of vestibular apparatus. The overview is chronologically structured and goes from prenatal to pre-school stage. The impact of vestibular apparatus on development of movement is reflected in consequent improvement of motoric skills. The work focuses on the impact of vestibular system on the control of posture in pre-school children, and its increasing responsibility for control of posture and movement in relation with visual sensory and somatosensoric system. The case study concerning motorics of healthy children serves as a useful tool in verifying the findings about the impact of vestibular apparatus on the control of posture. Novák, Vladimír ; Schlossberger, Otakar (advisor) ; Čarný, Ján (referee)
The main objective of this work is to analyze current trends in contactless payments and consequently implement it on the Czech market. On this base this thesis deals with several wearable devices. Furthermore on this base is also working in the application part, where is one of the secondary objectives of the work to determine consumer preferences on the market of the Czech Republic. One of the secondary objectives is create a brief summary of the history of payment cards and within the sociological aspect to find a certain analogy in introducing innovations in the field of payments towards current trends in contactless methods. Within the secondary objectives there are simultaneously defined key assumptions forms of payment for success on the market. The following section focuses on electronic payments. Specifically, it deals with trends in electronic payment services, where for its implementation aren´t required the physical presence of the card or chip. Furthermore there are analyzed alternative paths in the current payment methods, namely peer-to-peer platforms. On these platforms is based shared economy, which also represents an interesting potential for the possible development of payment field. Chapter with alternative methods for cashless is finished by analyzing digital currencies. The hypothesis of this thesis is whether Apple can have an impact on the area of contactless payments and how it can affect the entire sector. Part of the hypothesis is the claim that Apple manages to change the area of contactless payments, such as happenede in the music industry with iTunes and then in the telecommunications industry with a revolutionary iPhone. Potential benefit of Apple is defined by the method of description. Potential contribution of Apple Pay is characterized by logical deduction base on previous relationships. Conclusion is by quantitative research method, namely through the consumer research, assessed consumer preferences in the Czech Repulic and is also evaluated the hypothesis of potential benefits of Apple contactless payments.
