Sledování morfologické stavby vemene u nedojených ovcí
KUČERA, Josef
The main objectives of this bachelor thesis are collecting and rating of cured meat sheep´s udder traits. Measurement on 107 sheep shows data which are focused on udder depth, udder width , teat lenght, teat position, udder attachment and udder cleft. Thereafter was assessed influence of litter chronological order on these values. Udder depth average is on level 8.2 centimetres. Udder width average is on level 9.1 centimetres. And teat length is in average 2.5 centimetres. All of these dimensions are growing up to the 4th littler. Since the 5th littler are measured traits in lower level. For the 6th and next litters are the explored values as same as the fifth´s litters. Point value of teat position was done on 2,93 points. It means that this value (2,93) is in suitable interval from 2 to 3, which is the best for lambs. Lambs can find teats without problems. Point value of teat position increases from the first litter (2,70) to the fifth litter (3,23) and then it continues on the same level. Udder attachment oscillates about 2,1 points (average) and there are no changes with chronological order of litter. Udder cleft is fixed on average value 3,84 points.

Interest Rate Pass-Through: Does It Change with Financial Distress? The Czech Experience
Kazaziová, Gledis ; Horváth, Roman (advisor) ; Krištoufek, Ladislav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to investigate the behavior of the interest rate transmission from money market rates to bank retail rates on the Czech banking market during the period from January 2004 to November 2010, and to detect potential changes occurred as a result of the current financial crisis. Using Ordinary Least Squares, Recursive Coefficients estimates and Impulse Response analysis we explore that bank retail rates reflect Pribor rate changes more strongly than changes in Euribor rates. We reveal that interest rate pass-through is rather incomplete and sluggish in the majority of cases and the adjustment level decreases noticeably during the period influenced by the financial crises.

Self-harm prevention in inpatients
Necid, Petr ; Marx, David (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is to explore tactics which would help serve as a preventive measure from inpatients inflicting self-harm. This work was conducted in selected psychiatric departments throughout the Czech Republic by using an anonymous questionnaire investigation. Only fifty percent of the departments have internal guidelines for detection of at risk patients. Eighty-eight percent of departments have an internal system for reporting extraordinary events. Many of these departments have advanced technical equipment, but there are still some departments with technical equipment at lower levels, probably due to the high costs associated. Only two departments are using scales for evaluation of admitting patients. Fifty percent of the departments evaluate risks of self-harm for admitting patients. Self-harm was present in all departments in this study; seventeen percent of departments did not report any number of suicide attempts and forty two percent of the departments did not report any number of the self-harm attempts. The results are showing a positive trend in the role of prevention, as well as increasing the safety level within individual departments. The data are also showing that not all of departments are taking sufficient measures to ensure prevention. Clear evidence of self-harm and suicide...

Populační biologie rostlin napadených systémovými parazity
Koubek, Tomáš ; Herben, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šmilauer, Petr (referee) ; Wennström, Anders (referee)
Three separate studies of the effect of plant pathogen on population biology of its host are presented in the thesis. Two are using field data about a widespread system of plant Falcaria vulgaris and its systemic rust fungus Puccinia sii-falcariae. The first study shows, that the disease prevalences in 40 populations of the plant were correlated with the moisture, the soil reaction and the cover of the herb layer at the localities. This was probably a result of the interaction of the life history of the plant and different effect the disease has at various localities. Similar pattern was found in the second study that aimed to determine long-term effect of the disease at the population level at four chosen localities over 4-5 years. Population growth rates were only rarely predicted to be higher for the healthy part of the population when compared with the whole population. Other analyses have however found big differences among years and localities. The locality type (slope vs. field populations) was important factor influencing population stage composition and importance of life cycle transitions for the growth of the population. Finally, the last study explores the possibility that systemic infection in clonal plants might be able to select against clonality. The result of the modelling showed that more...

Analysis of publicly listed microfinance equity diversification potential and possible mission drift
Pfeffer, Karel ; Janda, Karel (advisor) ; Čech, František (referee)
MASTER THESIS Analysis of publicly listed microfinance equity diversification potential and possible mission drift Karel Pfeffer 2017 Abstract The objective of this master thesis is to investigate, whether equity of publicly listed Microfinance institutions (MFIs) can be used for portfolio diversification, while these MFIs still maintain its original social mission. To explore these two aspects of publicly listed MFIs, this study is split in two major parts. The first part is focused on the comparison of risk and return characteristics of selected MFIs shares with conventional financial institutions shares and market equity benchmark indices. The analysis indicates no significant diversification potential in publicly listed microfinance equity. The second part of this thesis is exploring the impact of IPO on publicly listed MFIs social outreach. It was found some evidence of a drift from the original social mission among selected MFIs. However, there is not enough evidence to claim that for-profit investment cause long-term significant operational change of MFIs.

The study is based on a questionnaire survey.

Europeanization of Social Dialogue in the Czech Republic
Polivka, Tamara ; Rovná, Lenka (advisor) ; Samek, Vít (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the europeanization of social dialogue in the Czech Republic, i.e. the change of social dialogue vis-à-vis the influence of the EU. The change is explored in relation to five areas: the competences and legitimity of social partners, the "content" of social dialogue, socialization, strategies of interest representation and institutional structures of social dialogue. The integration of the Czech Republic into the EU incl. the membership of social partners in European federations of social partners has a considerable potential to influence social dialogue in the Czech Republic. However the thesis concludes that there are some barriers on the national level which inhibit the full impact of europeanization Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
