Laser brazing in the car industry

The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies of the subject M-STG Mechanical Engineering describes elementary methods of joining in the automotive industry. Moreover, it inquires into optimization of laser brazing on the back cover ŠKODA Superb. During the optimization of the process six samples were designed, and the adjustment of the brazing parameters were performed. Consequently, the samples were evaluated by tensile and metallographic tests. Finally, EDS analysis was performed and visual assessment as well.

Proposal and realization web presentation for logistic firm

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on a logistic firm presentation on the Internet. The thesis briefly introduces web pages design production and their presentation. Spotlight the firm and position improvement in internet search engines is part of the proposal. Storage system and store availability checking over the Internet or mobile phone is another part of the thesis. Finally, each suggestion and its financial contribution is summarised.

The Evaluation of an Investment Plan

The intention of this diploma work is based on an assessment of the present state of the company Industrial Engineering Ltd. to economically evaluate the effectiveness of planned investment. The last state of the company is evaluated by using financial analysis. For evaluating of the effectiveness are used static and dynamic methods. The conclusion of the diploma work evaluates investments and recommendations based on these facts and after assessing the risks of investments.

Financial Analysis of SPS Engineering s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelo´r thesis is the financial analysis of the company SPS Engeneering during the period between 2010 - 2014. The analysis provides external view of the company and it is based on publicly available data. This thesis os devided into several parts. The firts part is called the methodological part and there are descriptions of the various indicators of financial analysisand explnation of some terms. The following section focuses on the aplication of methods that are described in the methodological part. The last part is the conclusion, in which I will try to summarize the financial health of the company, propose a solution to the problem and provide guidance for the future companies which will cooperate with SPS Engineering. Financial analysis icludes horizontal and vertical analysis ratios, economic value added - EVA, bancruptcy and creditworthy mode and intercompany comparison.

The assessment of the use of motor vehicles equipped with diesel engines using direct fuel injection of Common - Rail.

This diploma thesis deals with the Common-Rail fuel system. The aim of this work is to develop an overview of development of the fuel-injection system. The first part is devoted to the description of the selected fuel system. All the parts of the system are described and explained there. Also the explanation of the management of the injection is included. Subsequently, other variants of the fuel system are described here. Further parts focuse on the diagnostic instruments and measuring emissions, also operational materials are described and divided in there. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the economic calculations which were made from the perspective of the economy operation of motor vehicles. The work also includes an evaluation of the measurements results and determines the appropriateness of the use of the Common-Rail fuel system for vehicles.

The design of two axis solar tracker

The purpose of this dissertation is to design the dual-axis solar tracker carrying the concentrator photovoltaic panels. The preamble of the dissertation shortly examines a photovoltaic cells development up to concentrators and the common support structures of solar power plants. The second part focuses on the engineering process itself. It includes the choice of the variant that suits best the requirements, the calculations of wind load and design of the various joints. The conclusion part is devoted to the evaluation, economy analysis of the construction and proposals for improvements.

Impacts of the economic crisis on a business entity

The thesis describes the financial crisis and its implications for the engineering company called Hydroproduct. The paper describes the financial crisis as a general economic phenomenon, but it also describes in detail the financial crisis in 2008. Using the tools of strategic analysis are then identified the significant factors affecting the company, from which the SWOT matrix and on the basis of the proposed strategies which were the potential routes for the company in times of crisis. In the thesis there are listed and analyzed management's actions as a response to the crisis which should reduce or eliminate the negative effects of the recession. The aim of the thesis is to describe the procedures and to propose the possible improvements for the future that should help the company in times of crisis.

Ekonometrický model ziskovosti společnosti ČKD Blansko Engineering

The aim of this thesis is using of the econometric analysis to identify the factors (business indicators) that affect the profitability of the company CKD Blansko Engineering. The diploma thesis will be included theoretical foundations of the financial analysis. In the practical part the regression analysis of profits in dependence on business indicators will be applied (current ratio, quick asset ratio, cash position ratio, debt ratio, total assets turnover ratio, accounts payable turnover ratio, accounts receivable turnover ratio). The obtained regression model will be verified economically, statistically and econometrically. The comparison with the best companies in the industry will be done.

E-commerce project monetization

The aim of this thesis is a monetization of e-commerce project. Using various tools of online marketing avaliable. In particular performance oriented and paid ad formats including emailing, product search engines, search engine advertising, and advanced remarketing strategy. As a proove of success or failure of this intention, project will be evaluated with EBIT and ROI indicators together. An e-commerce project of bad economic condition has been chosen for the experiment, whitch barely covered own operational costs. Many changes were accepted during the experiment. Especially in expenditure structure and media mix used. Many changes in previous ad systems used and more new tools and performance marketing features added. The result is improove in project efficiency. Project becomes economically independent unit.

Production order as an accounting case

This thesis explains the theoretical knowledge of the methodology of accountancy in the working environment. It refers to the resolution of accountancy transactions in the production order from engineering industry. It describes how to register events of product manufacturing in accountancy. The essential objective of this work is to asses whether a particular manufacturing order has a economical and strategic importance for a company. The theoretical part is based on familiar information from marketing, accountancy, Czech legislation and the usage of accountancy software program SAP. Together with manufacturing program Oracle. The practical part describes the company for which the manufacturing order is carried out. It deals with individual phases of the work processes. The accountancy diary is set together with the use of intradepartmental applications in the software setting of SAP and Oracle. The final part of this thesis explains a complex estimation of the production, complaints procedure and possible financial problems for this particular manufacturing order.
