This thesis focuses on the games of the children with autism spectrum disorder as their most common activity. Furthermore, it describes the particularities and conditions of their games. Some methods of working with these children are mentioned as well, particularly the structured learning method. The goal of the thesis is to highlight the importance of games for the autistic children and to propose several different ways of improving their individual skills required cooperative games. The proposed learning scenarios come out of the structured learning method and they are based on my own experience with preschool children. The thesis suggests that games are a basic need of every child, including those with autism spectrum disorder. Children's games are absolutely irreplaceable because of their significance in the child's development and its process of socialization. However, there are certain constraints and difficulties for the children with autism spectrum disorder when it comes to the development of their individual and social skills. Our goal is to come out with certain measures that would help these children overcome their difficulties and integrate into the intact society.

Mathematics for handicapped pupils at primary schools
SKRBEK, Vojtěch
The thesis called "Mathematics for children with special educational needs in primary school focused on the Asperger´s Syndrome issue" (hereinafter referred to as AS) introduces the problematic of AS and recommends specific teachings methods for pupils having AS. The thesis is divided into four thematic chapters. The first chapter introduces the AS itself. It describes all the typical characteristics, especially problems in the area of communication and establishing social relationships which are substantial at AS. However, all these issues have a solution. This chapter therefore includes a relevant overview of methods and techniques that can help individuals with AS. Then we introduce educational methods of children with AS in primary schools. There are different ways to educate individuals with AS, i.e. individuals with specific educational needs. The major ones are their integration at primary school or their specific education in dedicated classrooms. In this work we also deal with the issue of bullying these children. We note there is number of tutorials on how to prevent existing bullying. The chapter dealing with education of children with AS at primary schools is terminated by a description of methods of teaching these individuals. In the following section we refer to the key part of the thesis which is mathematics. In the thesis we report about the subject matter of mathematics at primary school in detail. The thesis also includes areas investigated in our own research. From all the forms and methods of teaching we are trying to highlight those that are beneficial and convenient for individuals with AS. The practical part includes description of work with two pupils with the AS diagnosis. The research was conducted in two main phases. During the first one the pupils were observed in mathematics lessons, in the second one then they filled in prepared worksheets, whose main aim was to assist them in areas where they are weak or not as good as in other areas of mathematics. We have attached several worksheets to the thesis and with their help we illustrate the results of our work. In the final discussion there are summarized lessons learned and given some practical verification instructions for working with pupils with AS.
The issue of assistance care of autistic children in special kindergarten and primary school in Rakovník
BABORÁKOVÁ, Kateřina
Infantile autism is one of autism spectrum disorders (ASD). It belongs to pervasive developmental disorders. It is characterized by a triad of handicaps - deficiencies in an area of social relations, communication and imagination. In the education of autistic children is necessary the communication is with a visual support and lessons are structured. A goal of my thesis was to ascertain, how much of an assistant help is necessary for the work with autistic children and whether such a need is met in the practice at one particular school. The other goal was to find out how difficult is the profession of a teacher´s assistant and which problems are related to it. The research sample consisted of women-assistants of the teacher in Elementary School and Special Kindergarten in Rakovník. I chose a method of the semi-controlled interview with women-assistants of the teacher and a study of the school documentation and autistic school children. Findings of the research showed that an extent and severity of the disability at all students with autism justify an allocation of a teacher´s assistant and an increase of financial means. Though, the current number of teacher´s assistants is insufficient due to the lack of funds provided by the founder and it does not match needs of the school. The women-assistants of the teacher evaluate their work as very demanding and poorly rated. They feel a risk of the burn-out syndrome. Most of them perform also works, which would rather do a personal assistant. However the School Section has no funds to provide any personal assistants. I believe that a solution of the situation could be a possibility for personal assistants to be employed at the school, too and the founder would contribute more significantly to the financial security of the required assistant care. The school work would also be facilitated, when parents pay for the assistant help from the recognized contribution to care. But currently it only depends on the parents how they will use this contribution.
