Possibilities of using technologies RFID and NFC
Urválek, Adam ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor) ; Martin , Martin (referee)
The thesis presents two wireless technologies widely used in both everyday life and industrial area. Their working principles and utilization methods are explained, as well as devices which use these technologies and the possibilities of future implementation. The focus is on NFC (Near Field Communication) and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). NFC is latter of the two, and it has become often used for communication and payments. RFID technology is widely used for personal identification and attendance systems, ACS (Access Control System). The thesis takes up the subject of identification from legislative and normative aspects. The RFID and NFC safety breach possibility is thoroughly discussed and analyzed. The practical part elaborates RFID chip copying possibilities using commonly available software and hardware. In the same part, there will be an employee identification access control system draft for a fictional company, considering cost and safety. In the conclusion, there are recommendations, safety advantages and disadvantages of each suggested systems and the technologies themselves.
Legal status of the animal in the New Civil Code
Hojdová, Dominika ; Borská, Jana (advisor) ; Pavla, Pavla (referee)
Legal status of the animal has been changed on the basis of a recodification of the previous Civil Code. The Act no. 40/1964 Coll., The Civil Code does not contain a narrower definition of the animal, and it was thus seen as a thing in the legal sense. The Act no. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code already specifies the animal in detail regarding it as a living being gifted with senses. This thesis presents a comprehensive overview of the changes in the status of the animal. It also deals with the issue of permanent identification for dogs. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part presents a comprehensive summary regarding the status of animals in the new Civil Code and its comparison with the previous legislation, as well as summary information concerning the identification the dogs with chip and tattoo. The practical part, which is in relation to the theoretical part, focuses on own survey on awareness of the general public concerning the status of the animal, especially in connection with the new code and mapping the number of chipped dogs and differences in public attitudes towards the introduction of a nationwide obligation of permanent identification for dogs.
Design of attendance files by means of RFID chips
Borkovcová, Jitka ; Dvořák, Silvestr (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deal with study of the modern technology of RFID chips and its application in a company Sanborn a.s. The main target is to use this technology for employees´ attendance files as a replacement of barcode technology, that faces to increase of safety and effectiveness.
Property record based on RFID technology
Černý, Jakub ; Dydowicz,, Petr (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor work focuses on the study of the modern technology of RFID tags and its application at Faculty of Business and Management in Brno. The main subject of this work is to use this technology as a replacement of barcode technology with the intention of raising processing speed, effectiveness and protection against stealing.
Wireless sound transfer
Jeřábek, Vojtěch ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals mainly with the possibilities of using the module nRF24L01+ for the wireless sound transfer, with as low latency, good reliability and sound quality as possible. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the description of the device and its internal structure for wireless sound transfer, even in the case of transferring multichannel sound. The thesis also describes the sound digitalization process and its requirements for the final quality. The second part of this thesis is focused on the description of the wireless module nRF24L01+, including analyzing its internal structure and the way it works. A comparison to other wireless modules that are available on the market, including its advantages and disadvantages, is also provided. The third part of the thesis is devoted to the design of the described system for an electric guitar.
Microscopic Analysis of Chips Security
Malčík, Dominik ; Hanáček, Petr (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to work out an introduction to the chip packaging and decapsulation. Further can be found a description of a method leading to dacapsulate concrete chips. Final part is devoted to getting chip pictures using microscope and analysis of the pictures afterwards.
Contactless Payments – Future of Payments Cards
Chludilová, Eliška ; Kozler, Miloslav (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the development of payments instruments, contactless technologies and instruments of contactless payments. This thesis describes intentions of card associations VISA and MasterCard in area contactless payments. It also contains a questionnaire survey, on the basis of which was carried out an evaluation and comparison with intentions associations. At the same was recommend of development for a provider of services in the area.
Application of Conductive Inks and Low Temperature Sintered Pastes in PCB Production
Kolek, Andrej ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
The present masters's thesis informs about the development and application of low-temperature sintering pastes in the manufacture and assembly of PCB components of the enclosing lead-free using nanoparticles of metals and their compounds. Lead-free brazing technology which s using in the present time, which has its drawbacks, however, and thus gaining other appropriate alternatives that seek to replace or further refined lead brazing. The introduction of the theoretical part inform about retrieval method of the type, composition and properties of low-temperature sintering pastes consisting of metal nanoparticles and their compounds. This section describes and explains the reaction mechanisms taking place during the sintering process. The end of the first chapter is dedicated to nanotechnology and production of nanoparticles and their compounds for the needs of the low-temperature sintering and possible related problems. Folowing section is devoted to examples of practitioners of the application and use of low-temperature sintering pastes and tests with which to assess the characteristics and quality of the related sintering conection. At the end of the thesis is a summary perspective and the use of low-temperature sintering technology nanoparticle past into the future. The experimental part is devoted to the application of conductive ink on the base of graphite for the production of 1V, 2V and 4V structures and their electroplated by the copper. There were created technological processes of 2V and 4V structures and test proposed methodologies resistance conductive theme to environmental influences. Filling pasta was tested in implementing 4V structure. There were made microsections various technological applications and their results were processed and evaluated.
System of Identification Solder Joint Failures
Vejmola, Tomáš ; Řezníček, Michal (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
This paper describes the draft and implementation of a system for identifying failures on the soldered joints from already existing system, which is, however, limited by dependence of the operating system of the human factor. The innovated system provides us an automatic testing of soldered joints using a computer, with subsequent processing of data electronically using the corresponding software. The first part is devoted to the theory of the formation of flaws on the soldered joints and to the familiarization with uninnovated system. Subsequently, work continues with the practical part, which introduces us the procedure and implementation of the innovated system for identifying failures on the soldered joints. The final part of this paper is an evaluation of the results and fulfilment of work requirements.
