I chose the topic of my bachelor's work because of quite a great share of long-term unemployed people in total unemployment in the Czech Republic. In theoretical part I am concentrating on the description of labour market, different kinds of unemployment and on the labour policy. In analytical part I am concentrating on the development and causes of long-term unemployment in Ústí nad Labem region, on the reasons of increase and fall of number of long-term unemployed people. I am describing the structure of job applicants according to their education, age, job classification. On the basis of these information I am finding out which brackets of people are the most participating in long-term unemployment. I also want to find out whether the measures taken in terms of active labour policy of the Czech Republic are a good way to help the long-term unemployed people return to work process, which programmes and projects are used in Ústí nad Labem region and whether they are effective. The aim of my bachelor's work is whether the active labour policy taken in Ústí nad Labem region contributes to the effective reduction of the number of long-term unemployed. On the basis of my conclusions I want to suggest other possible solutions in terms of active labour policy with emphasis on Ústí nad Labem region.

Steininger, Martin ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Zahradníčková, Marie (referee)
Shares, their legal nature and classification according to their types The main purpose of my thesis is to analyse the legal nature of shares and describe their classification according to their types. Both issues are explained with respect to historical evolution and actual legislation. There are also illustrated legislative bills of recodification of private law. The importace of joint stock companies constantly increases with their higher number year after year not only in Czech republic. This fact was also one of the reasons for choosing this topic. The thesis is composed of five main chapters. Chapter One is introductory and provides theoretical basis for another chapters. The chapter is subdivided into three subchapters. Subchapter One briefly describes historical creation of joint stock company as one of the types of companies. Instruments of foreign policy of small states - Taiwan's economic and public diplomacy
Průchová, Kristýna ; Fürst, Rudolf (advisor) ; Karásek, Tomáš (referee)
Taiwan is still in partial diplomatic isolation. As a small country with a limited share in world affairs is not only limited by his specific requirements, but also to the instruments that are entitled to use. The only way to escape from this situation means expanding the number of diplomatic allies and efforts for integration into international structures. Recommended tools for small state foreign policy used to achieve its objectives, primarily by soft power. Based on the classification of Taiwan as a small state, the recommended instruments are of public and economic diplomacy. They act through creating a positive image of the country abroad and various forms of foreign assistance. Taiwan needs to gather as much support from the general public in different countries. A strong motivation for him is his effort to build its own space and fixed position for national survival and growth in China's shadow. By defining each of the central concepts, integrating Taiwan into the actual facts and the application of selected instruments for Taiwan's foreign policy terms there is built a connection between the small states issue and areas of economic and public diplomacy as soft power tools of Taiwan's foreign policy.

Lihanová, Kristýna ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Součková, Jana (referee)
Land cover changes in Bohemian Switzerland using remote sensing data Abstract The purpose of this project was to classify land cover in The National Park Bohemian Schwitzerland from LAMDSAT data (1999, 2002, 2009), FORMOSAT data (2006) and QuickBird data (2009). Data used in this paper are described in details. The method used for images classification was method of unsupervised classification in Geomatica program. Created classes were merged into the final five classes. An Assessment of accuracy of classification showed that results don't reflect reality. Mixed forests are the biggest problem because they can be mistaken for coniferous or deciduous forests. Classification results were smoothed low pass filer and converted into a vector formats in ArcGIS program. For the years 2006 and 2009 was counted the vegetation indexes NDVI and LAI. Results showed that the densest vegetation is in deciduous forests. Changes in land cover were assessed in two ways. Shares of each class were calculated for all years. Overlays layers are created in ArcGIS. Overlap was conducted between 1999 and 2002 and between 1999 and 2009. Most changes were found between the coniferous and mixed forests. These changes are caused by the inaccuracies in classification. Key words: land cover, Bohemian Switzerland, forest, Landsat,...
