Ownership of flats and non-residential premises - Contract of Construction
Glacner, Iva ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Pohl, Tomáš (referee)
8 RESUMÉ An ownership of flats and non-residential premises means in the Czech legal system a specific form of a joint ownership (it consists of the ownership of a flat or a non-residential premise together with accessorily attached joint ownership of common spaces of a house, in some cases also the joint ownership of a land) with an extra regime of execution of rights and duties which results from this kind of the joint ownership of a house with its housing units. The valid legal regulation of the ownership of flats and non-residential premises is contained in Act no. 72/1994 Collection of laws, which co-ordinates some joint ownership regulations to houses and some ownership regulations to flats and non-residential premises and additing some other laws (later on just "the Flat Ownership Act") . The Civil Law Code, Act no. 40/1964 Collection of laws, is the starting point for legal regulation of flats and non-residential premises. In accordance with the Civil Law Code, the flat and the non-residential premise can be an object of especially obligation relationships. The Civil Law Code statements respect the fact that the flat and the non-residential premise are not separable parts of a house and therefore their ownership formation as an individual and separate thing (as a real object of the owner's right...

Clinical diagnosis of benign and malign prostate diseases.
Němečková, Lenka ; Semecký, Vladimír (advisor) ; Louda, Miroslav (referee)
Increased incidence of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) has been associated with age of men. The quality of lives gets worse in men with BPH. Adenocarcinoma of the prostate (CaP) is the most common malignant disease in aged men, younger men as well. In 2005 the incidence of prostate cancer has exceeded the number of occurrence of lung cancer in the Czech Republic. Prostate specific antigen (PSA) has found widespread usefulness in diagnosis of prostate cancer and BPH, too. PSA is organ-specific marker only, therefore, new options (modify PSA, new markers) have been searched to improve CaP detection. Histological estimation of prostate biopsy specimens validates the diagnosis of CaP. Gleason score (GS) determining histology of biopsy tissue affect treatment strategy. Frequently GS of biopsy can be varying GS of final preparation after radical prostatectomy. Therefore, we analyzed the correlation between the prostate biopsy GS and GS of final preparation in patients undergoing radical prostatectomy. Almost half of cases in this group of 88 patients treated in The Clinic of urology in Faculty Hospital of Hradec Králové was identical to GS of prostatectomy specimens and same part of cases was undergraded. High grades correlated with elevated PSA levels. Amount of patients had the PSA levels over PSA...

The genetic background of obesity and its treatment with bariatric surgery
Lischková, Olga
Obesity is a frequent metabolic disease that causes many other health and socioeconomic complications. Obesity arises due to excessive energy intake and decrease in energy expenditure, which is a conseqence of contemporary lifestyle. Moreover, obesity has a strong genetic component. Common obesity is polygenic, multifactorial disease, in which individual genes interact with each other and with environmental factors. Genome-wide association studies, conducted between 2006-09, led to the discovery of dozens of gene loci that predispose individuals to obesity. The strongest signals were registered for polymorphisms in FTO (fat mass and obesity-associated) and near a gene MC4R (melanocortin 4 receptor). However, the contributions of these variations on the phenotype of obesity are very small, therefore, it is necessary to validate the results of such robust studies. It is very important to uncover the effects of genetic variants for understanding the molecular mechanisms of energy metabolism. The studies presented in this thesis refer about the impact of polymorphisms in selected genes on anthropometric and metabolic parameters of the patients of the Institute of Endocrinology and of healthy volunteers who underwent functional tests. Our cohort includes a representative sample of Czech children (COPAT...

Transfers of ownership of flats
Moncmann, Lukáš ; Oehm, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Horáček, Tomáš (referee)
The purpose of this Master's degree (diploma) thesis is to do final review and classification of regulation of transfers of ownership of flats established by act No. 72/1994 Coll. (about ownership of flats) before it will be replaced by act No. 89/2012 Coll. (the new civil code), because now is the last chance to study it as valid and effective. Withal this thesis tries to analyse differences between them, describe changes and new conditions, and find out if the new legislation deals with all issues of this subject matter and possibly come up with a solution of blind spots. The method to achieve this is creating different systematics of describing and categorizing the old statue, and effort to recognize the same complexes in the new statue. Therefore the thesis is composed of four main chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of transfers of flats. Chapter One is introducing topic of the thesis and topic's history and defines basic terminology used in the thesis, e.g.: flat, building, (residential) unit or common parts of residential building etc. The chapter two, as one of the two most important chapters, concentrates on principles and mechanism of default case of transfer of flat including compulsory elements of its contracts, leaving aside all possible exceptions. HAVLOVÁ, Michaela
The thesis resolves problems about the contain of mercury in chosen articles of food. Mercury, hydrargyrum, is a heavy metal, which is an important pollutant of environment. Mercury was determined for comparision in all in nine common articles of food. In rice, mushrooms, fish, lentils, poppy seeds, soya, soya dehydrated slice and oat flakes. Mushrooms were collected in four different provinces of Czech republic. In Highlands, Central province, South Bohemia and in province of Liberec. For comparings were analyzed cultivated mushrooms, Agaricus bisporus, from supermarket. As a fish were analyzed lyofilized samples of catfish, Silurus glanis. The other articles of food were bought in supermarkets. On an atomic absorption spectometer AMA 254 (Altec, Prague, CR), was made validation of analytic method. Results: accuracy (97%), precision (3,33%), sensitivity (0,00251 l/kg), limit of detection ((LOD= 0,31 ?g/l), limit of quantification (LOQ= 1,04 ?g/l), linear dynamic range (LDR= 1,04 až 100 ?g/l) and correlation coefficient of linear part of calibration (0,9979). Measurement of all samples was done with spectometer AMA 254. By analysis of all materials was detected that increased concentration of total mercury in all occures especially in mushrooms. The highest measured value, 5,7 mg/kg, was found in a mushroom Xerocomellus chrysenteron from South Bohemia. Measured concentrations at lyofilized fish weren't important, it was only 0,04 mg/kg. In other articles of food weren't detected overlimited values. We obtained from acquired results, that the highest amount of mercury is contained in our conditions in mushrooms. According to World Health Organisation is determined that the highest tolerable concentration for articles of food is 0,5 mg/kg of mercury. In mushrooms was found after recalculation as a top limit 0,57 mg/kg of mercury. So, this result is overlimited.

Property relations between spouses
Rybáková, Jana ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Salač, Josef (advisor)
73 Resumé (Summary) Property Relations between Spouses The subject of this thesis is the property relations between spouses. Property relations between spouses form an important part of private law, the base for the legal regulation of the property relations between spouses being the regulation contained in the Civil Code, namely the concept of the community property of spouses (společné jmění manželů). Another area playing a substantial role is the legal regulation of the common housing of spouses in the form of a common lease of a flat by spouses. The work presented has been divided into three main chapters. Chapter One analyses the currently valid legal regulation of the community property of spouses as the statutory legal form of arrangement of the spouses' mutual property relations. Chapter One has been further split into several sub-chapters. The original sub-chapters have been devoted to the concept of the community property of spouses itself, a comparison of the community property of spouses with the preceding estate by the entirety (bezpodílové spoluvlastnictví manželů) regime applicable until 1998, and the creation (beginning of the existence) of the community property of spouses as such. The community property of spouses can never be created unless in relation to a matrimony. The following...
