Business plan

Work deals with the business plan. The theoretical part describes the various components of a business plan and briefly characterized. The practical application of knowledge are part of a theoretical and created a business plan for handbags and other textile goods imported from Thailand. Practical application includes an executive summary, product description, market analysis, with emphasis on competition, marketing plan and financial plan. The financial plan is due to the risk created in three versions - the pessimistic, optimistic and realistic. The paper concludes with a SWOT analysis. Aim of this work is to verify the profitability of the business plan for imports of textile accessories from Thailand, which was confirmed. When gathering information to compile a business plan used the following methods: interviewing, expert estimate.

Czech-Russian economic relations focusing on the bilateral trade

The thesis deals with the mutual trade relations between the Czech Republic and the Russian federation focusing on bilateral trade in goods. The aim is to describe the development of export and import of goods, their structure and the influence of the Ukrainian crisis and sanctions on those relationships. In the context of flow of goods it mentions the risks of the entry to the Russian market. The work also includes general and economic profile of Russia's cultural specifics in business negotiations, but also the general framework of relations. At the same time it marginally mentions services trade and mutual investment cooperation.

Business Plan of Czech-Italian Publishing Children's Books

The scope of this work is to realize a good business plan of a Czech-Italian publishing house of a children's book that could demonstrate the success and viability of the project. In the theoretical base, the structure of a business plan and the content of its single parts will be analyzed. In the practical application, the specifics of a publishing business and book market will be described. Afterwards a concrete business plan including in particular the analysis of company environment, marketing plan, implementation plan and financial plan will be created. In the end the risks will be evaluated.

Smart Europe in Todays World

With the twenty-first century bringing a completely new economic environment, the traditional way of economic growth shifted from the industrial concept towards knowledge-based economy. Skills, creativity, and knowledge as well as innovation capacity have become the significant aspects of economic activity. However, such transformation has created various problems and risks, putting regions into a position to review the management of their overall development. Against this background, the "smart model" increased in popularity in the policy area. This thesis outlines a summary of the smart concept and evaluates selected European NUTS2 regions based on the smart city approach. It discusses a focused overview of diverse definitions of the term smart city and its conceptual relatives in order to find out factors determining the performance of a successful smart area. The analysis exploits the most recent version of Eurostat and ESPON regional datasets to evaluate the smartness of selected 177 NUTS 2. Subsequently, the thesis offers a strategic division of selected NUTS 2 regions into three main categories; very smart, smart and less smart. The paper finds that the high concentration of R&D, high level of well-educated individuals, good focus on green regional economy and good global accessibility are among the main characteristics of the selected groups. The results show that out of 177 studied regions, 52 are categorized as very smart, 66 as smart regions and 59 as less smart regions. Additionally, the paper searches for the key factors determining the regional smartness. The findings explore that high level of innovation, good Internet accessibility, and high concentration of educated population together with good overall economic performance are among the most influential factors determining the regional smartness. Together the whole analysis creates a new view on the measurement of smartness in regional context.

Termination of customs transit for imports to the Czech Republic

The Master's Thesis is focused on customs transit, especially Common and Community transit. Prerequisites, process and termination are analysed, including simplified procedures. The Master's Thesis puts customs transit within a broader context of international trade and customs procedures, states relevant legislation, underlines risks related to their formulation and proposes solutions. The practical application is written from the point of view of Siemens, for which compliance with rules and regulations is essential and therefore is a good example to illustrate how to resolve the inconsistency of legislation with the business practice.

Analýza kryptoměn jako finančních instrumentů

This paper analyzes cryptocurrencies as financial instruments. Firstly, we introduced the main features of cryptocurrencies and summarized the brief history. We found out that price of the most famous cryptocurrency Bitcoin follows the hypothesis of efficient markets and it immediately react on publicly announce information. Furthermore, Bitcoin can be seen as standard economic good that is priced by interaction of supply and demand on the market. These factors can be driven by macro financial development or by speculative investors, but there weren't found any significant impact of these factors on price of Bitcoin. CAPM shows the high risk of cryptocurrencies, but it could be still good instrument for diversification.

The thesis focuses on the business in the Baltic Sea Region with pointing out Finland. The aim of the thesis is to describe the geographical definition of the Baltic Sea Region and the cooperation in it. The part about Finland analyses the country using the PEST analysis, and then focuses on the international trade of Finland by goods, services and also foreign direct investment. The next topic is the importance of the Baltic Sea Region as for trade, not only for Finland, but also for other countries from this region. The last part presents a company operating in the Baltic Sea Region, and analyses the importance of region for business and then mentions also opportunities and risks of doing business in stated sector.

The aim of the thesis "Principles of fiscal procedure law" is focus on the principles applied in the area of the principles applied in the tax proceedings. Knowledge of basic principles used in the tax process should also minimize the risks associated with the taxing authority. The effort is the sophistication of tax administration, so that tax is always levied the tax in accordance with the law and not in conflict with it, as it often happens. The first part focuses on the concept and importance of fundamental principles and the principles and the principles of good governance, the second deals with constitutional principles and fundamental principles of fiscal management. The final section is devoted to the supporting principles and supporting use of administrative law in tax proceedings.

Contracts of Carriage of Goods by Sea, Liability of the Carrier

This thesis defines the most important transport documents used in the carriage of goods by sea. It describes the way how they are used and the functions they perform. The main emphasis is focused on the bill of lading which is mostly used in the liner shipping and on the Charter Party, which is the basis of the realization of the tramp shipping. The thesis gives a comprehensive overview of a complicated international legislation of the liability relations in the maritime transport, which are differently regulated in the Hague, Hague-Visby and Hamburg rules at present. There is also provided a basic overview of the maritime transport risks and the possibility of their coverage in order to reduce the negative impact of eventual damages.
