PERSONALITY DISPLACEMENT OF DRUG-DEPENDANTS INCLUDED IN SUBSTITUTION THERAPY.
DONNEROVÁ, Dominika
Contribution of this work into a health - welfare sphere is to line up some basic informations about individuals problems, while they are trying to restore to health from drug dependence, but after that they have to also aling with orientation in society. They have to come through the contact with authorities, include themselves into a collective and adapt themselves for life "in a standart". Stated goal gave an orientation in the ways of their lewelling with stressing situations and also in finding out of specific tolerance dimensions against frustration. Drug abuse and addiction to drugs create costs that the society has to bear. First, they represent health resources used for treatment and further care and rehabilitation or re-socialization of exusers.

The effect of biotic stress on nitrogen metabolism in tobacco plants
Fiala, Martin ; Ryšlavá, Helena (advisor) ; Müller, Karel (referee)
In this project the effect of viral infection on the metabolism of nitrogenous compounds in tobacco plants (Nicotiana tabacum L. cv. Petit Havana SR1) was studied. The tobacco plants were infected with Potato virus Y, strain NTN, ELISA confirmed the presence of the virus. Enzymes that participate in C4 plants in Hatch-Slack cycle fosfoenolpyruvate carboxylase (EC 4.1.1.31, PEPC), NADP-dependent malic enzyme (EC 1.1.1.40, NADP-ME), pyruvate, phosphate dikinase (EC 2.7.9.1, PPDK) are present also in C3 plants and are related to plant responses to stress conditions. As a result of viral infection, the activities of all these enzymes were increased. Infection caused by PVYNTN decreased activity of nitrate reductase (EC 1.7.1.1, NR), an enzyme catalyzing reduction of nitrates to nitrites. The activity of enzymes catalyzing the synthesis of glutamine from glutamate and ammonium ions: glutamine synthetase (EC 6.3.2.1, GS) and glutamate synthase (EC 1.4.1.14, GOGAT) was enhanced. In addition to this main route of nitrogen fixation the plant can still use glutamate dehydrogenase (EC 1.4.1.2, GDH). This enzyme can also catalyze the opposite reaction, deamination of glutamate. The direction of response depends on environmental conditions. In this case a significant increase of oxidative-deaminating activity...

Integrated education for pupils with special educational needs - casuistic
Andersová, Věra ; Mrkosová, Eva (advisor) ; Ptáčková, Klára (referee)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on integration of pupils with learning disabilities into regular elementary schools. The theoretical part focuses on learning disability - mental retardation, ADHD - attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and education of pupils with learning disabilities. A case study of 13-year-old boy with mental handicap, ADHD and behavioral problems demonstrates the characteristic features of the integration process in the main stream elementary school. It shows the potential as well as limits of inclusive education. Analysis of this case demonstrates the direct dependence of the successful integration on the professional as well as human qualities of teachers.

Stress I - Posttraumatic stress disorder.
Řežábková, Helena ; Kudláčková, Zděnka (advisor) ; Klusoňová, Hana (referee)
Author: Helena Řežábková Title of diploma thesis: Stress I - Posttraumatic stress disorder Thesis Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Field: Pharmacy Background: The aim of this work was to create a historical overview of insight into Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), to describe the major manifestations and the most common situations which they may occur during the development of PTSD, both in the Czech Republic and in selected foreign situations. Another objective was also to establish a comprehensive overview of the therapeutic possibilities of PTSD. Main findings: PTSD was clearly defined in 1980 in DMS III (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association). Post-traumatic stress disorder develops as a reaction to heavy and continuous stress, it interferes with effective mechanisms for dealing with it. This reaction occurs as a delayed or prolonged response to traumatic stressful event. The situation as torture, rape, natural disaster or military action usually exceeds the normal human experience. It is individual for each, this situation causes pervasive anxiety. PTSD usually develops within six months after the event. As the late effects of PTSD can occur depression, panic disorder,...

Space-time relations in the naratives of preschool children
Šmídová, Barbora ; Pacovská, Jasňa (advisor) ; Nebeská, Iva (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to describe children's narration with a stress on spatiotemporal. Children's narrative texts are described in the context of cognitive and mainly discursive linguistics. The theoretical part analyzes available Czech and foreign specialized literature on children's language from the perspective of developmental psychology and different narrative theories, and further on literature on expression of time and space in Czech. The empiric part of the thesis presents analysis of authentic recordings of children's narration. The aim of this part is to describe how pre-school children, namely three and five year old children, learn to narrate and how the narrative skill is being developed. The conclusion tries to sum-up present care of language education of pre-school children.

Electrochemical investigation of redox reactions of 2,2-dinitroethen-1,1-diamin (FOX-7) in aprotic media.
Kociánová, Radana ; Volke, Jiří (referee) ; Liška, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dealing with the electrochemical investigation of redox properties of a new compound 2,2-dinitroethen-1,1-diamine, which belongs among explosives and is known as FOX-7. Such research up to now was not performed. Using standard electrochemical methods (dc-polarography, cyclic voltammetry, coulometry and preparative electrolysis) the reducibility of the FOX-7 was investigated in aprotic solvents (in acetonitrile and dimethylformamide) with a special stress for understanding the reduction and/or decomposition mechanism. The work has been performed at the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

Usage of psychometrics in the organizational setting
Polák, Jaroslav ; Štikar, Jiří (referee) ; Bahbouh, Radvan (advisor)
Theoretical part of this work is supposed to serve as a basic handbook for those who are willing to use psychometric, respective psychological tests in the organizational setting. In the preliminary part there is briefly explained what psychometrics is, there is shown its historical development, arguments for its use, methods of calculating its economical effectiveness and areas of most common application of results based on psychometric testing in context with human resources management. Next part is concerned with basic abstract of category structure of psychometric methods and characterization of basic features that all tests should fulfill. Following part of this text is focused on practical issues regarding to use of psychometric test in the organizational setting - from creating clear conception, through job analysis, selection of suitable testing methods, test administration and scoring until their interpretation and giving feedback. Practical part is devoted to the validization research in conditions of an unnamed company. Basic aim of this research was to verify validity and justifiability of use of tests NMG1 (numerical critical reasoning test), VMG1 (verbal critical reasoning test) and OPQ32 (personality questionnaire) by SHL Company and of test RSPM (Raven standard progressive matrices) and to...

Monotony as Possible Cause of Change of Body Segment Transfer Function while Vehicle Driving
Drahorádová, Radka ; Jelen, Karel (advisor) ; Lopot, František (referee)
Work objectives : Determination of body segment transfer function as a vibration response depends on vibration-loading time. Determination of transfer function in limited frequency range coresponding with thesis scope, representing vibration loading in the best way (for example car driving). Methods : Transfer functions were set by experimental measuring in laboratory and in situ, while vehicle driving. Measuring were realized in two times, before and after vibration loading of body segment. Results of each measuring were compared with others. Results : By comparing measuring results it is obvious that body response values are lower after aplication of vibration loading than before. Subsequently, stiffness of analysed body segment increases with rising length of loading, eg. body fatigue. Measuring results show, moreover that transfer function is considerably influenced by body posture, respectively by its position. Key words : monotony, transfer function, vibrations

Social problems of employees from the third countries at the labour market in Czech Republic
Faktorová, Dana ; Tomeš, Igor (advisor) ; Šťastná, Jaroslava (referee)
Diploma work is about social problems of foreing workers in the Czech Republic. This phenomenon because of increasing migratory movements mostly economic motivated migrants it is going to be more important. This work tries to explain what social problems citizens of the third countries have. It is not deciding if they came to the Czech republic accord of thein own o rif they were forced to migration. At least the work tries to find out if the foreign labour wants to be integrated into the Czech society or if migration is just for a temporary phenomenon. The work in the theoretical part show the term migration, or more precisely external migration from the point of view of the European Nation and deals with migratory reasons, migratory theories and migratory impacts on every single person but on the whole society too. The whole theoretical part is put into the context of migration and asylum policy of the European Nation because the Czech Republic as the member of the European Nation make an effort about harmonisation in this part. The important part is about employment conditions of third countries citizens in the Czech Republic which are put in the legislative and institutional frame. The work then describes the effort of the Czech migration policy about active kontrol of migration and analyse the legal...
