Preparation and evaluation of developer´s projects

The thesis has been devoted to the topic of preparation and evaluation of commercial developer's projects. Theoretic section of the thesis describes all the phases of preparation and realization of projects based on their chronological sequence; special attention is paid to evaluation of economic efficiency of the projects. The topic dealt in the practical section is based on results of survey carried out among relevant entities at the developers' market. Analysis of results of the survey carried out among multiple developer companies has revealed imperfections within their work. This thesis is trying to specify guidelines to eliminate them. Questioning among the other entities was aimed at analysing the view of a bank, a construction company and a facility management regarding the issue of developer projects and at making use of the findings to set some recommendations for the developer. Goal of the thesis is integration of attitudes of all the entities involved aimed at making use of the findings to specify a set of recommendations that should improve developer's work.

Title: Discrimination of EMG signals from individual forearm muscles from surface EMG Abstract: Location of electrodes for sensing the forearm muscles using surface electromyography is not accurately described. It is based only on recommendations by various authors in making researches. The aim of this study was to determine the optimal placement of electrodes on the forearm and describe it to another repeatable measurements. Colorectal screening barriers in the Czech Republic

The Diploma thesis deals with outcomes of the colorectal screening program in the Czech Republic. This program has been performed since 2000. Despite more than 11 years of its existence it is not considered as successful one. There has not been the decline of the incidence of the colorectal cancer and the change in the proportion of the stages towards the higher proportion of early stages. The program has long been struggling with the low coverage of the target population. This thesis asks what the barriers of better outcomes of colorectal screening program are. Moreover, it focuses on the program organization, its position within the healthcare system and barriers in the higher participation of the target population. The thesis discusses provider barriers, patient barriers and system barriers. The thesis builds upon the theoretical knowledge of the health policy, of the development of the colorectal cancer and of the making of screening programs. The thesis is based on the evaluation research; it uses qualitative and quantitative data. Foreign missions – entrepreneur missions and their role in enforcement and support of entrepreneurs.

This bachelor thesis deals with foreign missions, namely with entrepreneur missions and their role in enforcement and support of entrepreneur interests in foreign markets. The thesis offers definitions of essential terms determining these specific means of export support, investigates the functionality of entrepreneur missions and analyses the benefits of these missions as the instrument of facilitation of making new business contacts, establishment of new partnerships and cognition of foreign markets and local business conditions. For evaluation of the entrepreneur missions effectiveness there was devised a study based on information gained from such missions participants and organizers. For purposes of this thesis, three entrepreneur missions were chosen. The case study ascertained that entrepreneur missions are still indispensible pillars of Czech export and entrepreneur community. Among the main positive aspects of entrepreneur missions belong especially the extension of contact network and identification of specific elements of foreign marketplaces.

Case study of physical therapy care of patient after ischemic stroke

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after the ischemic stroke Objectives: The main aim of this study was to verify my ability to work with the patient, his examination, making conclusions, proposed treatment and its subsequent implementation. Other aim was mapping of the literature on the subject. Methods: The first part of my bachelor thesis is theoretical and it is aimed on stroke. There are described anatomy of cerebral artery, knowledge about stroke, its clinical symptoms and treatment options in this part. The description of spasticity with its influence on therapy and its treatment and the techniques used in physiotherapy are also there. The Brocca aphasia is described in the last section. The second part is the case report of a patient P. V. with diagnosis: ischemic stroke with dextral symptomatology. This special part is based on two weeks' work with the patient in the hospital (Ústřední vojenská nemocnice - Vojenská fakultní nemocnice Praha). This work lasted from 9th January 2012 to 3rd February 2012. Risks and Advantages of Adopting the Euro

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to compare and valorize principal advantages and potential risks of adopting the Euro in the Czech Republic. Decision-making, whether to enter the Eurozone or not, represents a very important part of continuing European integration, which means for the post-communist states an economic and political approach to the west countries. The fundamental basis for this bachelor thesis is the theory of optimum currency areas, which is applied to the situation in the Czech Republic. The analysis of particular impacts of adopting the Euro follows. The thesis also includes some considerations about the future of the eurozone and indicates, how the actual debt crisis in some countries might influence those states, which have not adopted the Euro yet.

Which School? Placing of the Child with Physical Disability in Basic Education

This bachelor thesis deals with the process of special education placement of child with physical disability in the Czech Republic. The thesis sees the process from perspective of parents and explores their role within. The goal of the thesis is to clarify factors which determine choice special education form - it means factors that influence whether a child will be educated in mainstream school or in special one. The thesis is based on the value of equity and on the right to education of every individual. Parents of disabled children are viewed as subjects of mutually interacting system. In the first part the thesis describes the legislation related to school placement of children with disability and submit statistic overview of special education. A comparative case study is the centre of the second part of the thesis. It compares four histories of decision making about suitable school for a child with physical disability. These histories were extracted from four interviews with their mothers. The thesis concludes that the parents of these children really are those who choose the special education form. But it agues that their choice of the form is more likely determined by coincidence of circumstances, rather than by clear factors.

The quality evaluation system of the low-threshold club Jahoda services

Diploma thesis "The quality evaluation system of the low-threshold club Jahoda services" deals with questions of evaluation and rising of social services quality, which is the primary objective for well functional organization in commercial as well as noncommercial zone. Thesis is primary applied to sphere of social services and its aim is making proposal for evaluation of services quality for concrete institution providing low-threshold social services to children from 6 to 15years old. The first part describes social services in legal social services in legal and describes low- threshold institutions for children and teenagers, representation low-threshold club Jahoda. Next targets are about possible styles of evaluation provided services quality and their fixation in standards of social services quality. The second part of thesis is practical part, which attends to the proposal of system for quality evaluation offered services in low-threshold club Jahoda. Proposal of this system is coming out from analysis of present system used in the institution and its main part is questionnaire investigation between users, employees, volunteers and trainees of NZDM Jahoda. The Right to Information and the Public Participation in the Environmental Matters

Presented dissertation is devoted to the participation of lay element in the environmental matters within the public administration. In these matters it is necessary to find the compromises that should reflect the private plans (of investors and the owners), exercising of the public participation and the public interests too. The cooperation among the administrative authorities, public subjects and private subjects shall be constructive, based on a real legal ground. The target of this thesis is to make an overview of the ways that Czech legal system (based on the international and European law) gives to the public in order to participate on the public administrative in the environmental matters. The important finding of the thesis is evaluation of efficiency of partial tools and also of risks connected with their application. The main terms, motives, preconditions and the importance of public participation in the environmental matters are defined in the introduction.
