Point to Line Mappings and Other Line Parameterizations not only for Hough Transform

Location-aware data transfers scheduling for distributed virtual walkthrough applications.
Provedené experimenty nad testovacími daty ukazují, že navržené schéma plánování přenosu dat umožňuje dosažení vyšší efektivity přenosu dat a vyšší kvality renderovaného obrazu během průchodu testovací scénou.

A NEW DAWN OF NAMING, ADDRESSING AND ROUTING ON THE INTERNET
Veselý, Vladimír ; Muntan,, Jordi Perelló (referee) ; Grasa, Eduard (referee) ; Day, John (referee) ; Švéda, Miroslav (advisor)

Cultural Centres
Adolfová, Barbora ; PROKOP, Petr (advisor) ; KAŠPAR, David (referee)
This thesis is concentrated on cultural centres built between years 1960 and 1990 in the former socialist Czechoslovakia. Six cultural centres have been chosen and analyzed to conclude the purposes they serve as well as the programs they offer. These chosen cultural centres are run as municipal organisations financed from the town budgets. The six towns where they are located are similar to each other in terms of their history, size and the time when their cultural centres were built. All of these centres share difficulties with the lack of cultural interest of local citizens, bad technical shape of the buildings in question and low budget. The aim of this thesis is to compare the functioning of these six cultural centres and conclude whether being directly funded and influenced by the municipal councils has a positive impact and should serve as a model for cultural centres or should be replaced by a different one. It also focuses on cooperation between the management of cultural centres and municipal officials, cooperation with other local cultural institutions and cultural centres from different towns.

Venous port from the perspective of the medic and from the perspective of the client
PŘEDOTOVÁ, Jana
The theoretical part deals with a complex problematics of venous port systems, its history, indications.. The empirical part focuses on the knowledge of the nursing staff and their attitude towards their own skills in this area and also the majority of this part deals with client´s awareness and their experience. In order to elaborate this thesis a combination of quantity quality examination has been chosen. To realize a quantity research we selected a survey based technique and for the quality one we used a semi-structured conversation system with open questions. There was a survey assorted for a quantity research which was destined for the general nurses working at the surgical and intern departments within Southern Bohemia region. The quality research was conducted by 9 interviews with clients with the ports implanted. There were four goals being focused on in the thesis. The first one was to chart the nurses´ awareness regarding the port problematics. From the results came clear that the nurses don´t have the corresponding knowledge. The second focus was to find out the own attitude of the nurses towards their skills regarding the port care. The results proved that the nurses assess their skills mostly like insufficient. The third focus was trying to estimate the clients´ awareness about ports and their appreciation of nursing care. By means of these clients´ interviews we found out that they are well informed about the problematics and their care appreciation with ports is excellent. The fourth focus was searching for particular clients´ needs regarding their ports and their saturation by the nursing staff. From the clients´ responses were we able to find out that they don´t have. H1 The general nurses working at the surgical departments treat the clients with ports more often than those from the intern departments. It also shows that both nurses from surgical and internal departments meet the clients with ports equally. The first hypothesis has not been proved. H2 The general nurses working at the surgical departments have more knowledge about nursing clients with ports than those from the intern departments. The analysis has shown that nurses from intern departments have more knowledge than those from the surgical ones. The second hypothesis has not been proved. H3 The general nurses working at the surgical departments assess their skills regarding the care of client with implanted port better than those from intern departments. Nurses from both departments assess their skills mostly as insufficient. The third hypothesis has not been proved. H4 General nurses are interested in increasing their knowledge about the port problematics. The nurses proved interest about increasing their knowledge, e. g. by attending a special course. The fourth hypothesis has not been proved.Survey questionnaire: VO1 Do the clients have enough information about the ports? VO2 Does the port obstruct your daily activities? VO3 How is the port being estimated by the clients? VO4 What pros and cons have the ports from their point of view? VO5 How do the clients assess the nursing care? VO6 What particular needs do the clients with ports have? VO7 Are these needs saturated by the nursing staff? The survey research proved that the clients are satisfied with the ports. The care of ports is assessed perfectly by clients and it attests that the provided medical care is superior. Despite all those positive outcomes it´s essential that the nurses from oncology but also from other departments are being further educated in the port problematics as the results of quantity research points to a lack of knowledge of nurses and the number of clients with ports is increasing. The thesis can be used as an information source for nurses and management. We recommend regular education seminars and creation of nursing standards.

Characteristics of the working behavior of Czechs and Ukrainians
BYKOVA, Sofia
The aim of this work is to create a transparent and comparable characteristics of the work behavior phenomenon within the cultures of those states - what is common and what is different between them, or maybe incompatible .It is supposed to have some analysis of possible conflicts and their connection with the mentality. The primary reason of this aim choosing is the specialty I study. My work contains information that could be interesting and useful not only for me and my future job, but also for managers and other employees. Overview of examined issues contains specific points, such as the fundamentals of economic psychology and behavioral economics (symbiosis of psychological and economic opinion on motivation and rationality of individuals), theories of motivation and reaction to different occurrence, characteristic of the term "mentality", general points about the human impact of the world economy. For realizing the goals of my work the following hypotheses have been proposed - Czech and Ukrainian mentality have significant differences, though these cultures are close. - Ukrainian and Czech employees are able to work effectively in a team and find a "common language" in the workplace. The difference in mentality does not obstruct on it. - Employers could be interested in the Ukrainian employees taking into account their high concernment and motivation. All three of the hypotheses were confirmed by observed data and comparison of mentality characteristics. Czechs are often tolerant to other cultures, moreover Ukrainian culture is not much different and does not create difficulties in the working relationship. Based on the fact that the chosen company has no conflicts associated with work behavior and differences in mentality, it's hard to define my contribution to this organization work.

Social media influence
BAUEROVÁ, Milada
This diploma thesis deals with social media, specifically with what influence they have on an individual´s decision making while choosing a university. There are 87 universities in the Czech Republic, each of them offers unique study programmes and each one is specific, nevertheless, if they are divided according to subject-matter focus, for instance divided only into universities focused on the study of economy, it is difficult to differentiate which one will be the best choice for a possible student. For the purposes of this diploma thesis, University of South Bohemia has been chosen, and Czech University of Life Sciences Prague has been chosen for the purposes of comparison. The main goal may be specified as an analysis of social media influence during the choice of a university, and to design some useful recommendations based on the results. Other goals of this thesis are: - To find out how universities use social media, - To find out how students get involved in social media happenings. The results for this thesis will be obtained on the basis of a marketing research via a questionnaire survey among the students of the University of South Bohemia and of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. Based on these results an analysis and a comparison will be carried out, finding out how strongly social media influences students when choosing a university, whether students themselves participate in social media happenings and what else may be improved by the universities.

Project management in selected company
POKORNÝ, Radek
This work deals with project management in chosen company. It has two parts. The first part is theoretical, which is focused to theoretical treatment of the subject. It explains what is the project, management of projects, organizations of projects, processes of project management, what is target of project, communication, control, changes and risks and more. In the practical part I focused to concrete company and project management and than I analyzed concrete project. Name of the mentioned company is OHL ŽS, a.s. It is company from Spain, which acts all over the world. In the Czech Republic has the base in Brno. This company has several divisions and every of them is focused to different professional architecture. I have chosen division of structural engineering. This division builds all kinds of buildings. It could be construction of new buildings or reconstruction. To analysis of chosen project I used various business documents, contracts with investor or suppliers, document which include billing, timetable. I especially used my experience with projects of this company, and I was part of this project. Name of this project is Reconstruction of cladding including replacement windows and insulation. During the analysis of project I found a couple major gaps. If we could avoid these gaps, we could increase profit. These graphs is especially in management. At the beginning there were appointed two temporary construction managers. They doesn't care about result project, because they knew that they will not be to the end of the project. These gaps are because there is missing motivation system. Project manager can´t affect results of employees. It doesn´t depend on performance of employees, they always has the same wages. For elimination of these gaps I proposed several suggestions for improvement. The first suggestion is modification and extension of motivation system. New motivation system include personal evaluation. This evaluation depends on performance of employee. The second part is bonus from over profit. The next suggestion is make a new working position. This position would take care about controlling and project documentation. During the building project, especially at the end is construction manager very busy. It depend of decision of construction 63 manager what kind of activity will have prefer. Project documentation and administration or controlling of building works. If they are doing everything correct and technology are respect. Suggested position would take care about invoices, real work, which is done, project documentation, controlling of budget. The third suggestion is purchase of small machinery such as chipping hammers and drills. At this time they rent all devices. Rent is higher than purchase price. The last suggestion is use credit to restoration of fleet. At this time they have obsolete fleet, because the bought all cars by cash. It is not conveniently.

Portfolio diversification
ŠÍP, Martin
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to show how the choice of stocks impacts the portfolio diversification in relation to risk and return. The risk was calculated as standard deviation and historical return rate was considered. The theoretical part explains basic terms related with portfolio diversification, Markowitz model, capital stock and most important factors that lead to the optimal portfolio creation such as return, risk and covariance. The practical part explains in detail, how to create an optimal portfolio. Ten companies from different sectors were randomly chosen for this bachelor thesis. These companies' shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The covariance of these shares is lower than one. The next step was to calculate historical return rate and historical risk of portfolios. The highest value of historical return rate was 2.31 % and the lowest value of historical risk achieved 22.77 %. Subsequently, the efficient frontier was determined. The efficient frontier is the set of optimal portfolios that offers the highest expected return for a defined level of risk or the lowest risk for a given level of expected return. The lowest value of portfolio risk was 2.97 % with a return of 1.38 % and the highest value of portfolio risk was 4.03 % with a return of 2.13 %. The investor chooses the portfolio which maximizes his expected benefit.

Expression of selected proteins in sperm in men with normal and pathological spermiograms using monoclonal antibodies
Pěknicová, Jana ; Čapková, Jana ; Dorosh, Andriy ; Margaryan, Hasmik ; Kubátová, Alena ; Děd, Lukáš
Recent studies show that infertility in human populations it affects an estimated 15% of couples of reproductive age. Male infertility is the primary cause for 60% of these cases. For these reasons, we analyzed the acrosomal and sperm surface proteins in men with normal and pathological spermiograms. We found that intra-acrosome proteins: TERA (Transitional endoplasmic reticulum ATPase), GAPDHS (Sperm Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase), and PRKAR2A (C-AMP-dependent protein kinase II, PRKAR2A), which can be identified using our monoclonal antibodies, are different express in healthy men and men with astenozoospermia (with reduced sperm motility), and with a significantly reduced expression in the astenozoospermia. These proteins are involved in energy metabolism and apoptosis of the cells, and some of them in the sperm-egg interaction; therefore, they have an important role in reproduction. On the other hand, there were no statistically significant differences in the expression of surface proteins (Appolipoprotein J (Clusterin) and Semenogelin). Our findings show that astenozoospermia as a complex disorder of the semen is often combined with other pathological conditions that are not diagnosed by the semen analysis. Therefore monoclonal antibodies are so suitable instrument for the detection of proteins associated with the pathology of the sperm in the semen with low sperm motility. In general, monoclonal antibodies against the sperm proteins are an appropriate tool to detect sperm quality in reproductive medicine.
