Aplikace pro podporu manažerského rozhodování
Nevídal, Jiří
Nevídal, J. Application for business decisions. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel Univer-sity, 2015 In this thesis are described a data processing techniques with a focus on Busi-ness Intelligence with using data warehouses. Then is performed analysis of the business environment and determined key performance indicators that will be monitored. In the next section is designed data warehouse that enables reporting the above mentioned of indicators, including their evolution in time. Subsequently is designed and implemented a user interface that makes the resulting reports will be available by the users. In conclusion, the resulting solution is evaluated, both from an economic and from an implementation viewpoint.

Application development on platform JavaFX 8
Macháček, Martin ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
Bachelor thesis is focused at JavaFX 8 platform. The main goal of thesis it to get read-ers familiar with this platform, its new elements and possibilities, and offer them a manual for developing RIA applications running on this platform. Thesis mainly uses authors expe-rience supported by adequate literature and technical documentation of platform for achieving its goals. The contribution consists of prepared manual written in Czech lan-guage, as well as described Scene Builder tool designed for developing user interfaces. Thesis begins with explanation of term JavaFX and description of platform, its historical development and architecture. Further the thesis explains Scene Builder tool designed for development of user interfaces. This Chapter mentions current possibilities and describes in detail working environment of this tool, and outputs in form of FXML documents describ-ing developed user interface. Next chapter provides a manual firstly explaining types and properties of two different architectures of JavaFX applications. Further chapter explains basic principles of development and specific platform features. Finally the chapter de-scribes launching applications in different modes which JavaFX application supports. The-sis is ends with practical example of simple application implementing new graphical com-ponents and deployed as a web application.

Automated GUI testing on Android platform
Hudák, Jan ; Doležel, Michal (advisor) ; Neugebauer, Petr (referee)
With the rapid development of the mobile device market there is a growing demand for quality of applications developed for these devices. One of the important factors that may affect the quality of the software is, due to the dynamics of development of this sector, automated testing. Great importance has graphical user interface testing. This thesis focuses on specific techniques for the Android platform, which is currently one of the most widely used mobile platforms. The aim of this thesis is firstly to describe the specific factors of automated testing of mobile applications that arises from the specific features of mobile devices. Another goal of the theoretical part is to describe several possible approaches to automate graphical user interface testing on Android platform. The aim of the practical part is to show the possibilities of selected test tools for concrete examples and compare them according to predetermined criteria.

Creating and managing online translation agency
Matoušek, Ondřej ; Vondra, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Šubrta, Václav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to carry out a business process model and user interface of an online translation agency that is capable of competition on a global marketplace. The business process model has been designed through analysing the main competitors and modifying their approach and mechanisms. The user interface has been created using and implementing time-proven principles of graphic design. The main result of this thesis is a functioning and competitive business process model of an online translation agency.

System for task management on the Android platform designed according to Material Design methodology
Haubert, Marek ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe the development of the user interface of the application on the Android platform. The introduction briefly introduces the Android operating system and describes the architecture of applications. Description of the user interface components, including practical examples of their use in the application, follows in next chapters. Emphasis is focused on the development in accordance with the graphics specification Material Design and the principles of correct design and development of Android applications. The practical part describes the procedure of the user interface development on the sample application. The thesis is focused on beginning developers of mobile applications for learning of user interface development, but it can be also useful for advanced developers who are not yet familiar with Material Design specification.

Automated GUI Generation for functional data structures
Podloucký, Martin ; Pergl, Robert (advisor) ; Hric, Jan (referee)
This thesis addresses the problem of automated graphical user interface generation for functional programs. First an analysis of current state in the field of automated GUI generation is performed. Based on the analysis the concept of Functionally Structured User Interface (FSUI) is introduced. Meta-data system for code annotation is then specified for the Clojure programming language and a transformation from this system to FSUI data model is implemented. Finally a graphical layer for displaying the actual interface is implemented in Clojure. Benefits of this approach are demonstrated by proof-of-concept case study.

Haptics interface construction for virtual reality output device
Jurečka, Jaroslav ; Drápela, Miloslav (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
The subject of diploma project is constructional solution of haptics interface construction for virtual reality output device. Construction is oriented only for virtual contact with objects. Force feedback on the user and deformation of objects are not used. Used programs: Autodesk INVENTOR 10, ANSYS WORKBENCH.

A controlling language for 2D games
Krček, Jan ; Děcký, Martin (referee) ; Bednárek, David (advisor)
The thesis covers design of a programming language for controlling turn-based and real-time games with logical or simulative features; implementation of a compiler, a component for runtime support and a graphical user interface that serves both for game development and their running and debugging. The designed language is intended for describing systems with living and communicating objects. Importance is given on easy extensibility, also on simplicity and safety. The language contains for instance multiple inheritance, messages and special type for sets. Primary output of the compiler is C++ source code.

Use of mathematical modeling in social networks
Kříž, Jan ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
The aim of this work is to create a functional specification of mobile application newly emerging asocial network for generating meetings with friends. Generating will be divided into two phases. In the first phase, we will use a mathematical model which will generate appointments with those friends that the user meets the least. In the second phase, we will use a mathematical model and multi-criteria decision making process for invitation of maximum number of friends to this meeting. Using graph theory, we will develope an algorithm which will optimize the computing system over all its users. And finally, we will define functionality for meeting friends in partner establishments in the city, which will use the principle of finding the shortest path.

FEMM program - preparation of education materials
Pešek, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The manual is supposed to introduce to users the program FEMM. It is designed for solving low freqency electromagnetics problems. It shoul allow students, who are not experienced with work in english interface programs, make a model and set parametres needed for successful solution of required problem. There is description of setting and location of important program elements. Users have to quickly understand, how to work in program. FEMM work indeed in two dimensional mode and it is simplier, than expensive 3D programs, on the other hand, he is free for commercial and noncommercial use. It makes this program very interesting for home using by students. Licence restricton is related with program code itself and selling only.
