Economic factors and profitabilty in woodworking industry

The diploma thesis was focused on identification of economic factors in the lumber factory and their influences on economic efficiency and competitiveness under real company conditions. The other aim was in the field of the economic viability of forestry and lumber sector. The sawmill Javořice, Inc. became the selected company because of its komplex history. The sawmill was analyzed by financial indicators for period 2003 - 2014. The axis was divided in three time frames, of that two periods are evaluated (1/2 - 2003 - 2006; 2/2 - 2011 - 2016). The second step gives a defines the current competitive environment, for the identification SWOT analysis and 5F were used. Results of thesis contribute to the issue of the economic viability of forestry and lumber sector in the Czech Republic. The impoving trend of financial stability with the deleveraging of the fianancial situation, which is a residue of the insolvency period, follow from the economic analysis of the sawmill Javořice, Inc. In the field of competition the situation in the company is relatively good. The thesis can be a valuable tool, with which everyone can evaluate the company and a partner with who can trade.

The effectiveness of the selected investments

This thesis is divided into two parts. The first, or if the theoretical part deals with lighting term investments and investment decisions. It is classified in the individual investment in terms of finance and management, and there are defined basic investment phase of the pre-investment phase to the phase of completion and disposal. They are also in the analytical part, outlined the basic sources of investment financing and the methods by which the individual investments evaluated. It defines both the criteria and factors that decide on the implementation of the selected investments. The second part, a practical part focuses already on one particular company, the aim of this section is to compare the knowledge of theoretical and confirm or refute the decision about the effectiveness of selected investments directly for the company. It is an analysis of the impact of investments in the capital of the Company as well as its future benefits. In case of refusal, it is necessary to offer another form of corporate capital utilization.

Evaluation of suppliers for selected company

This thesis deals with the use of multi criteria analysis of alternatives to the practical model of companies selling aluminum wheels. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the data and multi-criteria decision recommended by the company's best suppliers. With the large increase in new foreign producers on the Czech market, it is necessary to compare a group of suppliers who could bring the company more business opportunities. Therefore there will endeavor to select suitable suppliers, and elimination of costly contractors. In the first part of this work is a description of multi criteria analysis variants, Saaty method, scoring methods, respectively, and the weighted sum among other methods TOPSIS. The methods are also used in the practical part of this thesis. They were subsequently excluded suppliers, from which the company collects a maximum of goods once a month and was performed according to the method of aspiration levels. It was then proposed final order suppliers group for subjective criteria evaluation. Based on these results, we have selected the best company recommended contractors.

Waste prevention and effective waste management in the selected company

From reason of protection environment, under the pressure of not only administrative, but economic measures too are firms trying to minimise the amount of nascent waste. Therefor is thesis focused to the analysis of waste economy, production and composition of waste in the company WITTE Nejdek in period since 2010 to 2015. There is evaluated dependence the amount of waste similar to communal on number of employees in the company WITTE Nejdek. Was done landscaping survey, what was focused to possibilities of reducing amount of wastes, to quality of recycling waste and to availability of collecting points in the company areal. To evalaution of current dondition of recycling wastes in the company WITTE Nejdek was done survey with employees, what was focused on awareness and knowledge employees about recycling waste in WITTE Nejdek. In these are proposed concrete measures, what could improve recycling of waste and make changes helping to reduce amount of waste. Proposals are suitable not only in terms of prevention to waste production, but economically too.

The bachelor thesis "Motivation as a leadership" discusses motivation as an important way of managing people. The paper is divided in two main parts, theoretical part and own processing. In theoretical part the basic concepts are defined by professional literature, which leads to understanding the issues. It explains terms of management, manager, responsibilities of a manager, leadership, motivation, incentives and theory of motivation. The second part of the paper includes guided interviews with the managers of the Credit one, a.s.. They were interviewed on the issues of motivation and their experience, opinions, and especially the motivational stimuli used by them and kinds of motivation in practice.

This bachelor thesis Quality Management Service is focused on the quality of the offering services of the insurance company Generali a.s., to its agency offices, regional offices, where there is provision of services retailer versus a customer. It looks at the region as a unit this insurance company.
The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current status respectively offering quality services at these locations both from a customer perspective and from the perspective of the seller and on the basis of this analysis in the form of completed survey investigation and data processing in the form of a survey to evaluate the collected data and information of which will be set up their own proposal and recommendation for improving the quality of offering services of the insurance company.
In the theoretical part are listed and partially itemized substantively individual concepts that are closely related to the topic Quality Management Services on the basis of which the procedural progress and quality of services according to the professional literature.
The practical part is focused on familiarization with the results and evaluate their own work in the form of implementation of a questionnaire survey among randomly selected respondents / customers and dealers Generali insurance a.s., zooming way how to create a questionnaire, the reason for this questions asked , evaluation of individual responses in the form of text and tables. On the basis of this method is done its own comparison of the results of the collected data in the written and graphical form, leading to the creation of its own proposal and recommendation for improving the provision of services of the insurance company.

The position of women in the labour market.

The thesis deals with the position of women in the labour market, describes the most obstacles women encounter in the labour market and offers possible solutions. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse the position of the women in the labour market, to define each notion related to discrimination, to recognize the factors that influence it and to find out the differences in remuneration of men and women. Further on, the thesis would like to approach the question if women are still more discriminated on the ground of the sex or whether the society manages to eliminate the discrimination of women thanks to the measures adopted.
The thesis is divided into three parts. In the theoretical part of the thesis the legislative adaptation is being introduced, and it presents the effort of the state to eliminate the unequal approach towards women. The thesis analyzes the existing legal regulations of the discrimination law abroad as well as in Czech legislation. Some of the basic concepts linked to the given topic are explained, e.g. equality, positive measures and equal treatment. Another section of the theoretical part deals with discrimination, its forms and variations, discrimination on the reasons of sex and the ways of how to protect oneself from discrimination. In the theoretical part the method of analysis of information sources is used based on research literature. In the practical part of the thesis two ways of questioning are used. The first research method is a structured questionnaire in a form of a standard written questionnaire. A selected group of people is questioned to say their opinion on the given issue. The second investigation is done in a maneuvered interview with the respondents of the first questioning form, based on the prepared set of questions. The last part of the thesis elaborates the results of the research and draws the conclusions from these. Each question has a graph showing the results of the analysis followed by an exact description and explanation. The conclusion of the thesis provides a compact resume of the forms of protection which the discriminated person can use to avoid discrimination or for defense.

Human Resource Branding

This graduation theses concerned with creation of human resource branding. The teoretical part is based on the general plane of this theme, given notion and context focused on the importace. The human resource branding was in past a overlooked branch in the company s strategy, which is now increasingly used for the development of companies. While processing was drawn from professional Czech and foreign literature. On the issue was seen both in terms of personnel management in the field of employer branding focuses on current and potential future employees. Correspondingly, a stable position in the labor market. The second is the strategic management and marketing, where it is mostly about brand perception among consumers and company, linking brand and man in the organization. Mention is also beneficial use of advertising in brand building. Practical part of theses is oriented to Goodmills Česko s.r.o. company. The aim of this thesis is to define an effective employer branding strategy for the mentioned organization. When processing the issue to take into account several factors, mainly the issue of marginalization
of employer branding by Czech companies that use outdated and mostly already outdated tools, which do not help to improve their competitiveness in the labor market. To determine the current status questionnaire survey was used both by staff and by management. Furthermore, a survey was conducted in the vicinity of society, as seen in the labor market and potential employees.

Renovation of waste water system in selected municipality

It is necessary to consider the increasing problem of the environment and better quality of people living. This thesis focuses on modernization of the system, which cleans the wastewater in municipality of Kout na Šumavě. These days it is taking place the second phase of building a sewerage system, that would be partly financed from European Union funds within the operation program of Environment. The thesis is split into two main parts.
The first theoretical part contents the basic theory, where are described the financial funds, the basic theory of the wastewater treatment and also the problematic of multi-criteria decision making and it´s methods. Mentioned methods relate to solving the problems of decision-making situations. The second practical part performs particulary solution of the given problem. In the practical part are used all identified findings and background materials for evaluation and for selection the right decision making situation. This would be solved by application of mathematical methods. All identified results, that used mathematical methods, are evaluated and suggested to the representatives of the municipality. They referred the results to the general contractor.
