Occurrence of PBDE compounds and Bisphenol A in rivers with the occurrence of cryfish
Svobodová, Kateřina ; Vach, Marek (advisor)
The thesis deals with result evaluation of a project under the auspices of the EAA and Norway Grants, which ran from 2015 to 2016. The project's goal was to evaluate water quality at sites with native and invasive crayfish. The project also included monitoring organic substances such as Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). I mainly focused on a subset of PBDEs, the brominated flame retardants (BFRs). These substances have been monitored since the 1970s, when food was accidentally contaminated leading to the contamination of the nearby area in the US. What is alarming is their persistence in the environment, which leads to their constantly increasing levels. Information about the transformation and biodegradation of PBDEs in the environment is still limited and is continually analyzed in new studies. These substances are poorly volatile and insoluble, which makes dust and particles arising from the products containing BPAs the main sources of contact. Another agent, whose presence in the environment of the Czech Republic I analyzed, is Bisphenol A (BPA). BPA is used in the production of epoxy resins and polycarbonate plastics. BPA is a toxic substance with the ability to disrupt hormone function. Baby feeding bottles have been confirmed to contain these compounds. In April 2004, the Czech government approved a (program to reduce pollution of surface waters by dangerous harmful substances). In August 2004, the EU enacted a ban on the sale and use of penta-BDE and octa-BDE in all fields. Since 2011, Bisphenol A may not be used in the manufacture of baby feeding bottles. The goal of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the amount and possible consequences of these substances in our environment, which are alarming even after full or partial bans on the use of these substances.

The Motivation as a Leadership
Mudruňka, Jan ; Horáková, Jana (advisor) ; Fiedler, Jiří (referee)
Abstract This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Motivation as a way of keeping people. In the theoretical part is through the help of key words a reader familiar with the concepts of manager, management the role, management functions, leadership, incentive mechanism, participation, motivation the program benefits. After getting acquainted with these concepts, which are further developed and properly explained it is compiled by a questionnaire consisting of 13 questions dealing with motivation and benefits in the workplace. The questionnaire is submitted to the selected five managers. The three owners or co- owners private companies, the remaining two are employed in the public sector. With the questionnaire were brought to the attention of the three women and two men. The individual answers have been commenting and at the end summarized into a single conclusion. From this conclusion it follows that the motivational processes and benefits in individual organisations are set up similarly and that the best motivator is financial reward, or the public praise. Furthermore, it was found: managers prefer individual approach to leadership, a good team and the pleasant environment of the employees want rather than some of the other motivators. Last but not least can from the responses of most managers sense that you may want a the personal development of the employees, but only in a given field. Part of the managers do not agree with the further education of employees due to concerns about competition. The male part of the managers used a rather shorter sharper the answer to the question, the staff applies a rather authoritative way of leadership, while the female part of the managers was rather longer and more sentence. From the responses it is apparent that women apply to their employees rather democratic style of leadership. Key words: Manager, managerial role, managerial functions, leadership, incentive mechanism, participation, incentive program, benefits

This thesis covers the development of web applications with modern programming languages and technologies. The objective of thesis is the research and analysis of modern technologies and subsequent selection of particular programming languages, frameworks and database for development of web application applying those techniques. Based on analysis of modern trends I chose the following technologies: backend development using popular Spring framework based on Java EE, frontend implementation using one of the most widespread scripting languages JavaScript and its known framework AngularJS developed by Google. For data persistence I chose NoSQL database MongoDB. I provided detailed documentation of each implementation step: project definition, requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing.

Freshwater mussels breeding methods for the purpose of conservation programs
Plechingerová, Věra ; Douda, Karel (advisor) ; Matasová, Klára (referee)
Bachelor thesis is written in an overview form of problems breeding freshwater molluscs. At the beginning of the thesis I first evaluate the overall status of the populations in the Czech Republic and then in the world. Next I describe the anatomy and biology of molluscs, especially their reproduction, which is crucial for rearing juveniles in the laboratory or seminatural environment. The return of molluscs populations into the waters ecosystems is problematic in terms of ongoing changes in the biotope, particularly because of the anthropogenic influences and too few suitable host fish, without which it can not complete its glochidia development. To prevent the complete extinction of some species, there have been researched different methods of rearing, which help recover viable populations in the natural water environment. Methods of rearing are also described in this thesis. In the experimental part of the thesis I evaluate types of detritus that have different effects in length gain of mussels. For the experiment was selected freshwater pearl mussel (Margaritifera margaritifera), whose population is highly endangered. Freshwater mussels are an important bio-indicator of waters ecosystems, where they have an irreplaceable function, so it is important to regenerate their populations and the overall condition of the biotopes.

Selection of security software for user data protection
Maděra, Jiří ; Havránek, Martin (advisor) ; Benda, Petr (referee)
This work shows overview of potential electronic threats with which present users can come in contact. This topic is very common theme and we can hear about malicious programs or malware almost from the very beginning of computer age. Therefore, in this work, I try to provide view into the most common threats. But the main goal is to find the best solution for protecting user data against malware. Therefore, in the practical part I tested ten most used antivirus programs. The result of this test should show objectively which solution is for the user the most appropriate in terms of several criteria. The criteria that I chose are, detection ability, system memory usage and the total length of the test.

The effect of the operator on the accuracy of the estimates of lean meat share in pigs
Jiravová, Renata ; Šprysl, Michal (advisor) ; Libor , Libor (referee)
The aim of the study followed the determination of operator error, ie repeatability, or influence of the measuring point on the accuracy of the estimate of lean meat share (LMP). It was a FOM-SFK instrument measured at prescribed locations the backfat thickness, muscle depth, and thus their LMP in their carcass realization in SEUROP system. For this purpose a total of 71 hybrid pigs (Dan-Bred) were measured at the Velvary slaughterhouse. In order to determine the error from incorrectly determined place of measurement, the following six classification insertions were done per one animal, thus 1. 2nd -- 3rd last rib 7 cm off the midline (right point), 2. 2nd -- 3rd last rib 7 cm off the midline (repeat in the same hole), 3. 2nd -- 3rd last rib 1 cm caudal to the right point, 4. 2nd -- 3rd last rib 1 cm cranial to the right point, 5. 3rd -- 4th last rib 1 cm medial to the right point, 6. 1st --2nd last rib 1 cm lateral to the right point. Measurements were performed on the carcass that insertion 2 should be identical with insertion 1, insertions 3 and 4 were moved 1 cm off insertion 1 in the cranial or caudal direction and insertions 5 and 6 were moved by 1 rib from insertion 1 in the cranial or caudal direction respectively. Classification was held by FOM instrument, for further comparison also by ZP method. For the above classifications following regression equations were used. For: - FOM y= 81,8909+0,2006*M+14,1911*ln S, kde M=MLLT depth, S =backfat thickness, - ZP y= 76,6722--1,0485*M+0,00794*M2--0,002884*S2+9,0151*ln (M/S), kde M = MLLT depth, S= backfat thickness. Calculation and comparison of the results was performed by statistical program SAS Propriety Software Release 6.04, differences were tested by analysis of variance. Based on the results we can say that a given hypothesis was confirmed. Also, in the realization of slaughter pigs in SEUROP system can be stated that - by invasive technique FOM - precise LMP determination of the carcass is a function of the need for precise determination of the puncture site of operator, - accuracy of the backfat thickness as well as LMP estimate is affected by repeated punctures, - more reliably is measured the backfat thickness with repeated injection than the muscle depth due to its possible deformation, - inaccuracy of repeated measurements (repeatability) will not significantly affect the carcass classification into classes at the slaughterhouse; any errors will occur to the detriment of the supplier, - the injection shift 1 rib cranially respectively caudally affect the overall carcass classification more than shift the injection 1 cm medially or laterally away from the spine, - in the case of an unsuccessful measurement the best is to repeat the puncture or the second puncture shift 1 cm caudal or repeat puncture between the 2nd and the 3rd thoracic vertebra 1 cm towards the spine, - non-invasive technique ZP, compared to FOM, underestimates the LMP estimate by about 1,4%.
