This thesis deals with the rules of compensation for damage caused by wild animals and beasts and damage caused on wild animals and beasts in the Czech Republic. The main topic of the diploma thesis is the evaluation and analysis of current legislation. The work is divided into thirteen sections, when some of them are further divided into subsections. The main part consists of chapters 8 and 9, which deal with damages wildlife and further chapters 11 and 12, dealing with damages to animals. All chapters are based primarily on Act No. 449/2001 Coll., On hunting, as amended. Attention is mainly focused on the issue of compensation for damage caused by wild animals and beasts. Particularly with regard to the current bark beetle calamity that hit a large part of the territory of the Czech Republic, it appears this issue is highly topical.

Legal Framework of Conditions for Game Hunting The aim of this rigorosum thesis is to describe and compare the legal regulation of game hunting conditions in the Czech Republic. It focuses especially on the legal regulation of the conditions for game hunting according to the Hunting Act and the legal regulation of the conditions for fishing according to the Fisheries Act. Generally, the thesis also analyses the common terms related to fishing and game hunting (eg. the terms fishing district or hunting ground). The attention is paid not only to the current legislation, but the work also covers the historical development of the legal regulation of conditions for game hunting and fishing. Hunting has been accompanying humans since time immemorial and its conditions have evolved over time as society has evolved. This thesis also deals with the rules of game hunting contained in the Act on the Protection of Animals against Cruelty and in the Act on the Protection of Nature and the Landscape. Both acts provide a general framework for the hunting of animals and fishes, which is further elaborated in the Hunting Act and in the Fisheries Act. "Gentlemen, please, take of your hats": Methods of dating and interpretation of photographies from years 1850–1918 through historical mens fashion

„GENTLEMEN, PLEASE, TAKE OFF YOUR HATS“ – Methods of dating and interpretation of photographies from years 1850-1918 through historical mens fashion is compacted material for professional description of historical photographic material from noblemens collection funds based on basic knowledge of mens and partially child fashion, and related clothing accessories. In its entirety it brings a large amount of knowledge from history of the then mens fashion, which was after the downfall of the Austro-Hungarian empire overlooked or presented only in narrowly specialized sections, e.g. in the military section. A large part of this publication is based not only on the knowledge of description of mens clothing, but mainly of headwear. It is this clothing accessory that is pivotal to the observed era, and with a closer look, it can help accurately date and describe people captured on historical photographs. It is primarily meant for the specialized staff of memory institutions of Czech Republic, who deal with these given issues. At the same though, it can allow curators and owners of historical funds a way to describe collections of exhibits that are kept in their collection funds.

This work analyzes an economics in two hunting areas in the use of company "Třeboňské lesy a rybníky s.r.o." it means "Forests and ponds of Třeboň City" (then just TLR), which manages primarily the forests of Třeboň. The research area is located in the South Bohemian region, district of Jindřichův Hradec, and the city Třeboň is a district of municipalities with extended competence. Evaluation of hunting managment from the economics and biological view. The comparation of results with a literature and commentary on recommendations on these topics.

The theme of the thesis are The quality parameters of the meat of large wild game. This thesis discusses the legislation, game breeding and hunting times. Further about parameters of quality game. There is introduced the history of hunting, the most important laws in the field of hunting, the animal health and the food sector, including organizations listed, after game species and their breeding. Described methods of hunting and processing game. A summary of the quality characteristics and chemical composition, physical, technological, sensory and culinary properties, biochemical condition, microbiological page and the health risks from meat, which are divided into biological (includes disease caused by parasites, bacterial and viral infections), physical and chemical hazards. At the end of the sale of game, including the current price for how much meat is sold.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is Health Sanitariness and the Quality of Game Meat. The goal was to focus on heath sanitariness of game meat, more precisely venison and quality of the meat. The thesis includes sorting of the game, its methods of breeding, ways of hunting and their influence on hygiene and quality of the venison. It describes requests for getting venison. There are described biological, chemical and physical risks for consumer and methods of distribution. Besides, there are mentioned the postmortem changes in the meat and the quality of the venison. In closing, there are mentioned culinary suggestions for the venison.

Marketingový průzkum názoru veřejnosti na rozsah a intenzitu využívání krajiny ve Zlínském kraji

The aim of the thesis is a marketing survey of public opinion on the extent and intensity of landscape utilization in the Zlín region. More specifically, we deal with public confusion about land use, public and private greenery, and fisheries, forestry, nesting, bioenergy and nature conservation. Citizen's views were identified using questionnaires and the results were processed into tables and charts. The results show that people in the Zlin region are generally interested in the landscape around itself and its use. Residents of smaller towns and villages are more interested in using land, forestry and hunting. People living in cities, on the other hand, deal mainly with the issue of urban greening.

Use of Historical Hunting Statistics for Collecting Zoological Data

This works investigates zoological findings, especially the species and quantity of game, preserved in gamekeeper statistics of the second half of the 19th century. The information is sorted by the year of the shooting and by the kind of animal; and further by the location of the shooting. The relevant locations here are the three great regions: Kingdom of Bohemia, Moravia, and Duchy of Silesia; which, with minor territorial changes, constitute present Czech Republic. The data used in this work were gathered from the corresponding regions' archives, that is from the National Archives of Czech Republic, the Moravian regional archive in Brno and the Regional archive in Opava. One of the introductory chapters depicts the territorial development of these regions. The acquired data are organized into tables and graphs. The focus of the theoretical portion of this work is to systematize and clarify the data about game-shooting during a specific time in our history for selected game species. The aim of the practical portion is to highlight unexpected and surprising connections between zoology, gamekeeping and history.
