Hall for Engineering Production
Slezák, Jaroslav ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design and assess a steel two-nave hall for engineering production in Rajhrad. The hall has a rectangular plan with a width of 32 m (20 m and 12 m) and a length of 63 m. The total height of the main nave is 13.5 m. One bridge crane with a capacity of 5 t and a span of 19 m runs in the hall. The building is be covered with a gable roof with a pitch of 5 %. The modular spacing of the main trusses is 6 m. The superstructure consists of truss girders, full-wall columns, bracings and full-wall purlins. The RFEM program was used to determine the internal forces on the individual structural elements.
Shopping Center in Ivanovice na Hané
Čech, Martin ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Work deals with design of steel structure of shopping center. It is a building with rectangular shape with dimensions 28 x 55 m and a height 11 m and with cylindrical roof with 50 m radius. Main frames are designed with 5,5 m distance and they are made of arc roof truss connected to steel plate columns. Exterior building envelope is made of Kingspan sandwich panels. Roof cladding is designed without purlins and curtain wall is fastened into side rails. Macalloy tension members are used to obtain spatial rigidity of the structure.
The Roof Structure of a Multipurpose Sport Building
Michálek, Vojtěch ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
The topic of the thesis is a project of roof of a multifunctional sport object with a ground-plan covering area 35x48m, and maximum height of 16m. This construction is projected for Brno and its surroundings. The project of roofing is evolved in two different variants. First one is formed by double-jointed arched latticed truss. Supporting components such as purlins, lateral and longitudal bracings, frontal column and anchorage are designed and assessed in static calculation. At the end of the thesis, comparison of both variants is elaborated. Design documentation, which consists of dispositional drawing, drawing of truss for manufacturing, drawing of indicative details and plan of anchorage, is a part of the thesis.
Experimental and numerical analysis of strenghtened reinforced concrete member loaded to bending
Vepřek, Karel ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Žítt, Petr (advisor)
Design and manufacture of test elements for experimental testing laboratory. Testing of selected mechanical characteristics of test elements. Experimental analysis of test elements in the lab, creating a mathematical model in ATENA software and static calculation. Evaluation of experimental analysis and comparison with the values of numerical analysis. Graphic comparing the results of a final overall evaluation.
Steel load-bearing structure of a sport hall
Cejpek, Martin ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The main target is to design and assess the steel structure of a tennis hall. The steel structure is rectangular shaped, single-nave, with a 24 m span and 48 m length (without hanging gable walls). An analysis of two solutions of the supporting structure was performed. The first variant is a pin-supported truss girder connected to columns fixed in the transverse direction and an alternative is a frame construction. Both variants were compared and the amount of steel was found. The selected option was developed in greater detail.
The Roofing of The Multipurpose Building
Jelínková, Markéta ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the structural design of a multipurpose hall. This object is located in Česká Třebová. The dimensions of the rectangular plan are 45,6 x 61,5 m. The length of the multipurpose hall is 13,365 m. The main structural elements are made of steel grade S235. The main girders are the arched trusses which are connected to concrete pillars by pinned joints. The structure is composed of rolling sections and tubes.
Sports Hall
Zogata, Pavel ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
In my diploma thesis the proposal is developed as supporting steel structure sports hall with dimensions 45 x 54 m, a maximum height of 15.5 meters, for the area of Znojmo. In a static calculation are designed and assessed the main bearing structural components such as solid panel purlins, spatial lattice truss, bracing and solid panel columns, which together with the truss form create a crosslinks, column bases and anchoring, plus Tribune. The work includes the design documentation consisting of a layout drawing, drawing anchoring and drawing selected details.
Steel structure of sport hall
Ceh, Ondřej ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
This thesis contains a design of steel structure of a sport hall placed in the city of Zábřeh na Moravě. The ground dimensions are 29 x 62,5 m, height is 10 m. The steel structure of a roof is based on frames with a span of 29 m and purlins from open cold rolled profiles. A structural material of frames is steel S355 grade, a structural material of purlins is S450 grade. A bolted connection of the frame will be done according to the maximal rigidity and feasibility of the structure.
The cableway station Vranča-Kohútka
Pelc, Norbert ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on alternative structural design of the base cableway station in Vranča, Zlín region. Structure is designed as a hall at rectangular floor plan 22x28 m. Material solution of the load-bearing structure consist of mixture of glutted laminated timber and solid timber. The snow load has the major impact on possible arrangement of the structure (mountain area). The major focus of the thesis is on structural details – frame joint and anchorage. The thesis includes the study which objective is an alternative design of the frame joints in consideration of global behavior of the structure.
Steel structure of an industrial building
Kopecký, Ladislav ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Industrial hall with storage outbuilding. The length of the hall is 72 meters and width of 30 meters. The main hall has a span 24 meters and the outbuilding has a span 6m. The distance between primary steel frame is 6 meters. The height of the main hall is 10.7 meters and a height of outbuilding is 13.0 metres. The roof is flat with roof slope of 3.5% the main hall and 8.75% outbuilding. The structural system of the hall's bar structure. Primary steel frame is designed as a steel frame rafter with eaves haunch. In the roof structure are designed purlins. The stability of the structure is secured by roof braces and longitudinal braces. The hall is pin-supported on the foundation pad. The hall is clad wall and roof panels PUR. Main hall is equipped with a bridge crane with capacity of 8 tons.
