The theoretical part deals with moisture and problems with disinfection (trichloramine).
Meteorological station system
Čada, Jan ; Balík, Miroslav (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a online meteorological station system, which consists of individual weather stations that communicate via the Internet with the server. The first part of the thesis discusses the principles of measuring major meteorological variables and deals with the selection of suitable sensors for measuring temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, wind speed and rainfall. In the practical part, one of the weather stations based on Raspberry Pi Zero microcomputer is designed and realized. As a complement to the measured data, the station includes a camera that captures the view from the site where the meteostation is installed. 3D printing is used to realize most of the mechanical parts, it has the advantage of speed, accuracy and easy reproducibility. For the measurement of temperature, pressure and humidity, a combined sensor BME280 from Bosch is used, which is placed in a small Stevenson screen. The wind speed is measured by a cup anemometer whose rotation is sensed by an integrated Hall sensor. The output pulses are then counted using the PCF8583 circuit, which has an I2C interface for reading the values with a Raspberry Pi microcomputer. Special attention is paid to the construction of a custom calibratable tipping bucket rain gauge with a resolution of 0,5 mm, whose mechanical motion is also sensed by a Hall sensor as in the anemometer. The reading of the data from sensors and sending it to the server is handled by a Python script. For storing and presenting data to users, a custom server solution based on LAMP webserver is implemented, its source codes are written in PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. In addition to the web interface, which displays the data in graphs, the measured data can be also presented to the user via an application for mobile devices based on Android. The application was developed in C# using the Xamarin framework in the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment. Among other things, it implements a widget for quick access to the measured values directly from the home screen. In the final part of the thesis, interesting findings obtained by observing the measured values are mentioned.

Control and monitoring of climate in groups of terrariums
Pavlišin, Tomáš ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is to propose a system for monitoring and regulation the climate in groups of terrariums using Raspberry Pi platform and with subsequent well-arranged representation through the web server. Each group of terrariums has its own measure and regulation device Arduino NANO that wirelessly communicates with central computer Raspberry Pi. The measured values are stored in the MySQL database in central computer. These values are then graphically displayed on the web page. Limit values for regulation and regulation times can also be set through web page.
IoT system for gardening
Mlčák, Petr ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and creation of a weather station suitable for gardeners. The created device is able to measure temperature, pressure, humidity, amount of precipitation, wind speed and direction, UV index and also temperature and soil moisture at several depths. The weather station is powered by a battery with auxiliary charging from a photovoltaic panel. The thesis is divided into several parts. The theoretical part describes the individual physical principles of measurement of the considered physical quantities. Subsequently, a comparison of available sensors is made and then a final selection is made. The third part deals with the design and implementation of the hardware circuitry including the creation of the PCB. In this section, the holders of each sensor are also designed for printing on a 3D printer, which are then printed. The fourth section deals with software design issues, which is described in more detail. Finally, the whole weather station is assembled, wired and the functionality of all components is verified by sending the measured data to Thingspeak.
The effect of lubricant contamination and degradation on lubricating film behavior
Strnad, Jan ; Dzimko, Marián (referee) ; Omasta, Milan (advisor)
Lubrication contamination and degradation is one of the major causes of unexpected failure of tribological nodes. As a result, different levels of maintenance are introduced in practice, leading to a longer service life of the lubricated node. These systems often include sophisticated on-line diagnostic tools that can be used to evaluate a sample of a lubricant using certain variables such as viscosity, number of particles, humidity, dielectric constant, etc. Based on changes of these variables some systems can make corrective measures such as filtering or complete replacement of lubricant. Therefore, the aim of this experimental thesis is to determine the influence of lubrication contamination (solid particles, moisture) and degradation (oxidation) on the lubricating film behavior with respect to its limit bearing capacity. To examine the thickness of the lubricating film, friction and wear, an optical and MTM tribometer, in the ball-on-disc configuration, was used.
Restoration of the Hell inn in Tišnov
Streďanská, Lucie ; Špiller, Martin (referee) ; Guzdek, Adam (advisor) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the preparation of documentation for building permits and part of the documentation for the construction on the basis of an architectural study, developed in the course AG35 - Restoration of Monuments Studio. The topic of this work was to find a suitable concept of a new functional use with regard to the historical nature of the monument and its technical condition. The design also included the new construction of a housing for the owners and the solution of all surrounding areas. The result was an architectural study with an emphasis on viability and feasibility. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is a gentle restoration of the building with an emphasis on its revitalization with newly incorporated functions and original expressive elements. The operation of the tasting cellar in the preserved Gothic cellar has returned to the inn. The cultural and social heart of the building became craft workshops with a shop selling handmade products and a multifunctional hall. The operation was supplemented by an accommodation unit for the building manager, this operation also includes a new extension, adjacent to the west wing, which housed the operation of a temporary warehouse on the 1st floor and the bathroom of the administrator on the 2nd floor. Last but not least, the attic of the building with a reconstructed truss was revived. This part works as a mobile and multipurpose space, which can be adapted to current needs for children's camps, as well as for lectures and reading. One of the significant characteristic elements of this work are atypical roof windows copying the curvature of the mansard roof. These windows visually connect outdoor life on the street and occasions in the attic. This expressive element is complemented by dark metal accents of the restored exterior gallery, steel frame edging of the window, illusory entrance gate and new extension.
