Apartment building

The bachelor thesis deals with the project documentation for building an apartment house in Lutopecká street in Kroměříž. The designed building is located in the western part of the town of Kroměříž, it is a detached building with four floors above ground and a basement. The residential building has a rectangular ground plan and is divided into two parts with separate entrances, each entrance has 15 residential units, so the total number of residential units in the whole building is proposed to be 30. The proposed apartments have a layout of 1+kk, 2+kk and 3+kk. The basement will be used for the technical background of the building and storage space for the residents of the building. The house is based on a monolithic reinforced concrete foundation slab made of waterproof concrete. The exterior walls of the house are a combination of monolithic reinforced concrete walls and ceramic bricks. The ceiling structures are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The entire building is covered by a flat roof with extensive vegetation. Building is clad with an ETICS system using mineral wool. The work also included a basic assessment of the building physics and fire safety design of the building.
New apartment building in Telč

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design and develop project documentation for a new apartment building. The apartment house is located in Telč. The building is designed as a free-standing building with three aboveground floors and one basement. There are eleven parking spaces next to the building. The basement of the floor plan extends above the ground floor, there is a common room, cellar and technical facilities. There are nine residential units on the upper floors. The apartment building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips. Perimeter masonry in the basement is made of concrete blocks and in the upper floors of ceramic blocks. The internal load-bearing masonry is also made of ceramic blocks. The ceiling structure and the staircase are monolithic. An elevator is located between the arms of the staircase. The roof is flat, vegetative. The building envelope is insulated with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system.
Municipal Office with multi-purpose hall

The master´s thesis on the Municipal Office with a multipurpose hall is prepared as the project documentation for the construction. The building includes the municipal office, a tourist information centre, an area for the provision of limited postal services, a café and a multipurpose hall. The building complements the development of the square in the centre of Horní Maršov village. The building has an L-shaped plan, one underground and three above-ground floors. The multi-purpose hall is unbasement, one storey. The load-bearing system is designed as a wall system, partly reinforced concrete, monolithic in the underground floor and in the above-ground floors made of aerated concrete blocks. The ceiling structures are designed as monolithic reinforced concrete slabs and the multipurpose hall has a ceiling structure made of pre-stressed reinforced concrete panels. The roof structure of the main building is a two-layer flat roof with metal sheeting, and the multipurpose hall is covered with a flat roof with asphalt shingles.
Residential building in Valašské Meziříčí

This Bachelor thesis deals with a design of new building – apartment house. Designed apartment house is located in Zlin region, in the town Valasske Mezirici. Altogether, the designed bulding contains partial basement, eight dwelling units and four storeys. In the ground floor we can find a storage cellar, utility room and cleaning room. The ground floor is made of 3 single sections – office section, section with access to dwelling units with the pram room and section with driving school. These sections are separated from each other and each section has its own entrance. Dwelling units are located on the second floor, third floor and fourth floor. The second floor is made of small flats – there are 3 studios and 1 one-room flat. Larger flats are located on the third and fourth floor where we can find 2 two-bedroom flats and 2 three-bedroom flats. Every dwelling unit has a disposal of the loggie except the flats on the fourth floor – these have a disposal of the terrace located on a flat green roof. Apartment house is built from clay block and overhang part is made of precast frame elements. Building foundations consist of foundation strips. The columns that are erecting the overhang part are placed on foundation pads. The basement wall is built from concrete blocks. Ceiling construction is made of prestressed ceiling panels Spiroll. Staircase is reinforced concrete precast. Roofing is solved by flat green roof. Thermal insulation of the building is solved by external contact insulation system that is internationally labeled and known as ETICS. As a thermal isolator serves the expanded polystyrene.
Apartment building

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to processing of the design documentation for a newly-built apartment building. The apartment building is located in Havlíčkův Brod. The building has four above-ground floors and one basement. In the basement there are cellars, technical facilities, a common room, a bicycle room and a cleaning room. There are 8 residential units on the upper floors. The apartments on the ground floor are wheelchair accessible. The apartments on the second to fourth floor have their own balcony. On the second floor there is a common terrace. The apartment building is based on strip foundations made of plain concrete. External walls in the basement are made of calcium silicate blocks and the external walls of the above-ground floors are made of aerated concrete blocks. The floor structure is prefabricated structure, which is made of reinforced concrete beams and aerated concrete inserts. The roofing of the building is made of a vegetation single-skin flat roof. The building is insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system.
Sports Center

The subject of the masters thesis is the new construction of a object for sport which is located in sport area Dukla in Pardubice. The building has a basement with parking and one floor with sport hall and other parts. The object is covered with flat roof. In the background of the building there is reception with bufet, changing rooms, toilets, showers, saunas and cooling pool, massage room and Kneipp walk. The utility roon is located in the basement. Entrance to the building is on the west side where there is also parking lot with walk leading to entrance. The object is made of collumns made of reinforced concrete and slabs of the same material. The outer fasade of the object is made from ceramic blocks Porotherm and insulated with ETICS system with the width of 200 mm
Study of the ETICS surface resistance to biotic attack

This diploma thesis deals with the study of resistance of ETICS surface treatments to biotic attack. The theoretical part elaborates a research focused on biotic attack of facades of buildings insulated by contact insulation systems ETICS. Based on the information obtained during the elaboration of the bachelor thesis and further study, the optimization methodology of ETICS surface treatment resistance to biotic attack proposed in 2018 is elaborated. In the practical part, the proposed methodology is verified, evaluated and recommendations concerning the suitability of using the proposed methodology in construction practice are implemented.
Retirement home

The topic of this thesis is a project documentation of a Retirement home located in Prague in Novodvorská street. The building is designed as a stand-alone building with five floors of a rectangular ground plan with a receding fifth storey. The retirement home is divided into a public section - a pharmacy and a part for clients - accommodation, leisure time including facilities - a restaurant with a kitchen, a laundry room. The construction system is designed as a reinforced concrete monolitic skeleton with rectanguplar columns and the filling structures are made of ceramic blocks. The building is based on reinforced concrete footings. A waterproof concrete is proposed for the lift shaft, and the foundation sills are designed for the perimeter masonry. Roofing of the 4th and 5th floor is a warm flat roof. In the 4th floor roofing section, the roof is made as a concrete tiles paving. The main entrance to the building is from southwest and the access to the building is from the northwest side where there is a parking lot for employees and clients.
Mixed-use building in the Slavkov complex

The building in a question is a new build mixed-use building. It is situated in industrial area of Slavkov u Brna and is intended for employees of this area. In the underground floor is situated collective garage for 18 personal automobiles. First floor is designed for retail sale. Specifically general store, boutique and cafe. In the second and third floor are accommodation units for area employees. Specifically 12 accommodation units. Building has a flat roof with asphalt strip coating. The load-bearing system of the building is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton, THERM-type bricks are used for the construction while thermal comfort is achieved by a certified external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) featuring façade polystyrene. There is parking space area in front of the building.
Study of energy consumption reduction of block of flats

The goal of the thesis is firstly to get all the information about the initial state of solved block of flats, which is located on the street Merhautova 76/954 in Brno – Černá pole, in terms of constructions, energy consumption and initial state of heating system. In the second part of the thesis, where are discussed the possibilities of reduction of energy consumption, variant drafts of reduction of energy consumption and their financial costs and the choice of optimal variant. Third part deals with assement of solved block of flats in terms of sustainable built environment by using tool to rate buildings in terms of sustainable built environment - SBToolCZ, evaluation of possibility to use renewables. In the end are written summaries and recommendations.
