Janečková, K. Diversity management in selected international company. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. This bachelor thesis deals with application of diversity management in selected international company and evaluation of its current situation. The main aim of the thesis is creation of recommendations for improvement in the field of management of diverse working teams. The recommendations are linked to age, gender and diversity management. The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part defines the terms of age, gender and intercultural management, explains the methods of their application and the reason they are needed to be implicated into company’s management. Moreover, it describes demographic development and the situation in Czech and Slovak republic. Practical part involves qualitative research and analysis of environment. The last part describes the suggestions for improvement, their economical evaluation and benefits resulting from their application.

It consists of a review of literature that focuses mainly on human resources management, flexible forms of work and social diversity in the organization. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the current condition of flexible forms of work in the labor market within the Czech Republic in the area of the engineering industry. In the framework of qualitative research, semi-structured interviews with HR representatives or other executives are car-ried out. Quantitative research is also carried out within the framework of the questionnaire survey. The results of both investigations are then processed appropriately. All survey information obtained is used as input to draft proposals and recommendations
Specifika diverzity managementu ve strojírenském průmyslu

The master thesis deals with the matter of management diversity in chosen engineering companies. The goal of this paper is to formulate proposals and suggestions in the field of diversity management with emphasis on age and gender management in engineering companies in the South Moravian region. The first part of the thesis explains basic terms, arguments and process of diversity management implementation. The thesis consists of qualitative and quantitative research. Within the qualitative research eight semi-structured interviews with employees of middle and top management were taken. Quantitative research is based on questionnarie survey and statistical analysis of data that were gained in program Statistica 12. In the conclusion the author considers the results and based on them suggests recommendations including their benefits and economic appreciation.

Diploma thesis deals with application of age and gender management principles in selected companies of the Olomouc region. The aim of this diploma thesis is proposal to improve employment in clothing companies. Thesis is divided into two parts. First part includes literature research. Second part is formed by quantitative and qualitative research. In quantitative questionnaire section were applied statistical methods. In qualitative research were applied interviews with owners, executives and HR officers. Based on these analysis, were proposed recommendations for improvement of employment in clothing industry.

Struharova, X. Management of diverse teams in the ICT sector. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The diploma thesis deals with diversity management of companies operating in the ICT sector in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to develop recommendations for better application of diversity management in the ICT sector. Partial goals also examine what factors in the work environment affect the satisfaction of employees working in a diversified environment, and think about the opportunities for young women to apply in IT departments as well. Qualitative research that took place in the form of semi-structured in-depth interviews with HR staff, managers, and executives. Subsequently, a quantitative survey was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey, the results of which were interpreted by the statistical analysis of the data. At the end of the thesis are elaborated proposals and recommendations resulting from the results of the research part of the thesis.

The diploma thesis deals with specifics of working conditions and working environment for employees over 50 years. The aim is to propose recommendations on improving working conditions and the working environment for employees over 50 years and to analyse job satisfaction and the labour market stay of these employees. In the first part of the diploma thesis there is a literary research on this subject. In the second part there is own research, which consists of quantitative and qualitative research. Data from the Share database is processed in quantitative research. Quantitative analysis will be complemented by a qualitative survey in the form of semistructured interviews with employees.
Age management a jeho vliv na obchodní činnost v nadnárodních korporacích

This diploma thesis deals with age management and its influence on business activity in multinational corporations. Within the literature review is clarified current demographic situation in the Czech Republic and Europe, it defines the terms of age management and specifics of multinational corporations, including human resources management. There is qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research is conducted with interviews with managers and HR of multinational corporations, and quantitative research is conducted through a questionnaire survey conducted among employees of these companies. The conclusion formulates suggestions and recommendations for the introduction of age management in multinational corporations and the costs of implementing these proposals are quantified and evaluated.

The aim of this thesis was to analyse the activities of a particular firm according to its implementation of diversity management. This also includes the assessment of the achievement of objectives and implementation of the strategy of this company in the field of diversity. Principles of the concept of diversity management were defined and the selected firm was characterized – Česká pojišťovna, a.s. The empirical part of the thesis focused on the analysis of opinions and perceptions of employees and management. The results suggest that Česká pojišťovna is successfully implementing the concept of diversity management. The critical responses from employees can be effectively solved and then improve the level of implementation.
Intergenerational programs in the practice of educational institutions

The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning. The work defines the concept of age management, describes its implementation in practice and focuses on the topic of intergenerational programs, their specification, categorization and definition of their benefits and risks. The second part is focused on the content analysis of strategic and curricular documents in the Czech Republic and abroad and analyses the possibilities of cooperation of educational institutions in intergenerational programs in the Czech Republic and foreign countries. Age management - supporting persons aged 50 plus in the labor market in years 2005-2015

The diploma thesis focuses on the age management 50 plus in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the market situation and companies approach to this topic. The practical part is consist of qualitative research that contains interviews with employees from three different companies. Moreover the thesis analyzing other available data from selected companies. This research submits demographic aging of the population and the issue of the age management 50 plus in the Czech Republic that is not handle enough. Meanwhile companies declare they support older employees mainly by additional healthcare services but this benefits are provided for everyone. The analysis did not find out any specific benefits for older employees. In some cases the issue of lack young employees is being solved by supporting and motivating students to work for concrete company. Because of unfavorable demographic evolution it is needed to solve this problem currently and more deeply in the Czech Republic.
