Ultrasonic distance measurement
Klich, Michal ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and manufacture of a controlling program of equipment for distance measurement using ultrasonic sensors. It focuses on a detailed description of the whole design from the basic properties of the components to the creation of schemes and PCB design. It subsequently describes in detail the development of controlling software of the equipment. The work briefly describes the most important parts of the code. It summarizes all theoretical and practical knowledge gained during the creation of the whole design, it explains the principles of the functions and works of individual parts and it suggests the best possible options of connection of the whole equipment. It also suggests the best possible variants of the entire circuit. The bachelor thesis also describes the microprocesor AVR ATmega8 from the Atmel Corporaton, which controls the entire device, as well as EEPROM memory chip 24LCXXX, SRF05 ultrasonic sensor and communication with the PC via USB using a microchip FT230XS-R.
3D LED color display
Rak, Jan ; Burian, František (referee) ; Jílek, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this project is to design and construct a LED cube for visualization and imaging attract attention. With respect to the assignment was determined resolution 8x8x8. For the overall management and communication with the PC was chosen development board STM32F4 Discovery, which, thanks to it parameters, is sufficient for this application. Cube consisting of diodes and power wires will sit on the governing board, which will include all parts of management and communication. Implemented firmware will have a base animations, it is also possible to control by superior system. The board will be covered by colored fabric for a better look.
Controlling of programmable analogue circuit
Sobotka, Josef ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This work deals with the design of the control software for the programmable analog circuit adjustable by means of a computer via the serial interface for the computer, as well as for programming the microcontroller. In addition, analyses the internal structure of programmable analog circuit on which it is proposed to further control, design of printed circuit boards for final programming and test equipment and measurement of the basic parameters of the circuit (transmission and phase frequency characteristics of parts and units).
Microcontroller based system for acquiring and transfer of static picture
Vladař, Martin ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the transmission of still images from the CCD camera at extremely limited communication data flow. The base system consists of a microprocessor, which communicates with the peripherals mostly via the serial interface. The image is obtained by PC program for Microsoft Windows that can capture color images and grayscale images. A defect of the system is as expected slow serial line.
Security system
Papoušek, Marek ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The work deals witch design and realization of create an electronic security device based on Atmel AVR microcontroller’s family. Individual elements of security, together they communicate using XBee wireless interface. The device should provide notice through the GSM network disruption when guarded zone. Communication between the microcontroller, GSM module, and XBee module will be provided via USART bus. The whole system should take account of energy savings when using battery power.
Color sensor for feedback control of press
Procházka, Michal ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis builds on the semestral thesis, which deals with color processing theory and research available hardware for solution. The introduction discusses the basic theories on color models, which is an outline of how the award for the color models can be programmed. The second part is focused on different hardware components and control elements, RGB sensor, TWI communication, imaging units and USART. These components are always describes the basic software functions. At the end of the thesis describes the measurement as a whole. At the very end of the work is to think of it as a given topic more appropriately extended.
Altitude control of flying robot
Palacký, Tomáš ; Šembera, Jaroslav (referee) ; Baránek, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals firstly with design and construction of a device for testing of altitude control algorithms of a flying robot. Secondly with creating and testing of an altitude control algorithm in order to apply findings while creating a copter control system. Provided is a selection and analysis of used hardware and software components – microcontroller AVR ATmega, ultrasonic sensor, motor controller and also communication interfaces IC, USART and SPI. Also design and realization of electrical wiring, circuit board and mechanical structure is being described here. The next section includes creation of software for microcontroller and PC application. The altitude control algorithm is developed using a simulation, furthermore tested and tuned for desired behavior.
Quadrocopter - Navigation Unit
Jurajda, David ; Florián, Tomáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with navigation of the experimental flying device called Quadrocopter. It deals especially with navigation in open space by using global navigation satellite system GPS. The opening part of my thesis deals with GPS options and utilization in the Quadrocopter project. The middle part discusses design of the navigation module and the final part deals with data processing and its usage in navigation.
Prototype of Outdoor Computer on STM32VL Discovery Platform
Leštach, Marek ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Novotný, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on describing of an outdoor computer prototype based on STM32VL Discovery platform and building it on the prototyping board. Prototype is able to locate itself with the help of GPS module and received data are recorded into connected MMC card formatted with the FAT filesystem. Information and trip statistics are displayed on a graphic display. Data on memory card are saved in NMEA-0183 format provided by the GPS module in order to be used with a map software on PC.
Light and effect technics control
Nedoma, Jakub ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor degree work was to design and manufacture a mixing console for controlling the entertainment lighting and show technics (RGB lights, fog producing, lasers etc.). This console is compatible with all kinds of digital show appliances via DMX512 protocol.
