Indirect costs as a competitive factor in the construction industry

Diploma thesis deals with an evaluation of indirect costs as a competitive factor in the construction industry. Notions like construction market, construction company, costs, their structuring and the way of their calculation, then competition, competitive advantage and competitiveness are theoretically defined in the first part of the thesis. The second part of the thesis deals with an evaluation of the questionnaire survey and the guided interviews. The questionnaire survey results and the results of guided interviews are compared and subsequently, recommendations are determined at the end of the thesis.
Utilization of modern methods in integrated management system of construction company

Diploma thesis focuses on the use of modern methods in an integrated management system construction company. The first part is devoted to theoretical introduction of selected modern methods and process management. Describes the possibilities of using the cloud information system and the way of auditing of company processes by standards. In the practical part is introduced monitored company including a description of control mechanisms. The work is mainly focused on the analysis and identification of processes in construction company in selected area of managing the commissions. The final section contains design and implementation of information system and possibility for using of modern methods.

This thesis examines issues of corporate culture in the construction company. In the theoretical part are explained basic concepts that are related to the topic of the thesis. The aim of thesis is to define the most important issues of corporate culture and to find answers to them. The result is to formulate conclusions and recommendations, compiled on the basis of the results of the survey and structured interviews.

The diploma thesis deals with the subcontracting management on a construction contract. The purpose is to define costs for permanent employees and for external employees in specific construction company, known as a subcontractor. There are some concepts which are defined, such as construction contract and market, prices in construction, project management. The following part evaluates the way how the subcontractors are selected for the construction contract and its management. There is a research of preparedness this construction contract. In the end there is an evaluation of selection process with the subcontractors in the specific construction contract, subconstructors management and construction contract management.
Forms and methods of personnel motivation in construction company

This thesis deals with forms and methods of motivation in the construction company. In the theoretical part are specified basic concepts of building industry and motivation. The practical part is based on a questionnaire in construction companies, and one particular construction company. In the final phase of the research the results are evaluated and there are recommended methods of motivation for successful work with people in the construction company.
Assessment of Performance of Construction Company with Value Indicators

This paper addresses the design and comparison of indicators of traditional financial analysis and modern value indicators with a focus on business performance, and their subsequent application to a particular construction company. In the theoretical part there is characterized the construction company and its economic processes, next there are the concept of financial analysis defined and the proposed assessment indicators described, also procedure for calculating economic value added as a representative of modern value indicators is mentioned. In the practical part there are the proposed indicators being used to analyze the company INSTAV Hlinsko, a.s. and the results are evaluated at the end.
Utilization of Accounting Statements for Evaluation of Development of Construction Company

This Bachelor's thesis is concerned with the use of accounting data in order to detect the actual situation in a company on the basis of the financial analysis methods. The theoretical part is focused on the basic conception of a building company and the structure of accounting statements. Further it is dealing with various methods of financial analysis, especially horizontal and vertical analysis and methods of ratio indicators. The practical part preforms the analysis of a concrete building company with the aid of methods described in the theoretical part. In the conclusion the ascertained results are summarized and compared with the actual situation on the construction market.
Analysis of costs on the workers in the construction company

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the costs of workers in the construction company. The subject is the definition of the costs of permanent employees and external employees in a particular construction company. The terms wage policy in the Czech Republic, wages and salaries, prices in construction, workers and THP workers are defined. The following section describes the costs that an undertaking has for its permanent employees and the cost it has for external employees. It is also compared whether it is advantageous to hire or have permanent employees. At the end of the work, it is evaluated whether it is preferable to hire or have them as permanent employees. The reasons why the company has it set up in this way are also clarified.

The aim of this thesis is to compare differences in financing enterprises by size, law form and volume of orders. The first part includes identification of basic concepts and divisions, concerning enterprises, law forms, property structures and types of financing. And the second part, which is practical, is a questionaire survey carried out in the czech building market and its main aim is to compare differences in building enterprises.

The bachelor thesis is focused on corporate culture in construction companies, specifically on the motivation of its employees. The theoretical part contains basic terms and their definitions. The practical part is realized by a questionnaire survey and interviews. In the final chapter is an evaluation of the results of the survey and subsequent recommendations for the proper motivation of employees in the construction company and thus improving corporate culture.
