Detection of car approach speed using camera imge processing
Kovář, Jan ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Šmirg, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis deals with digital image processing, from the initial acquisition of digital picture frames, subsequent processing segmentation and algorithms to detect visual shapes on the scene. Image processing is a very broad topic, so here are analyzed for more understanding of the fundamental principles of perception and processing of video signals, image representation, his starting shooting through filters governing digital image processing methods to detect the objects in an image. It is also demonstrated by the size dependence of the object in the image on the distance from the camera, whereby we can determine the speed of approaching or moving away from the object. We will show you the specific determination of the distance we need to know the actual result size of the object. This is because the ratio between the size of the object depending on the distance is the same for each object. Finally, this work presents the resulting image frames for implementation using OpenCV library.
Automatic detection of spine axis in 3D CT data
Hříbková, Veronika ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Jakubíček, Roman (advisor)
The thesis deals with the topic of automatic detection of spine axis in 3D CT data. The theoretical part discusses the basic principles of image processing and focuses on issues of collection and processing of medical image data, particularly data from X-ray computed tomography. The entire chapter is devoted to the principle of the creation of 2D and 3D CT images. Then the article about the anatomy of the axial skeleton is elaborated focusing on the anatomy of the spine. The second part is devoted to the proposal and implementation of methods of segmentation of the spine using a simple thresholding and morphological operations to locate the initial position of the spine axis with the definition of the beginning and the end of the axis using cross-correlation with created binar masks. Subsequent refinement of the position of the spine is done by segmentation of the spinal canal using a region growing method, when the starting points, located inside the spinal canal, are acquired by finding the centre of gravity of a vertebra or by Hough transform.
Proposal of Marketing Mix of Hairdresser's
Štěrbová, Kristýna ; Havelka, Dušan (referee) ; Zich, Robert (advisor)
The diploma work is to serve as a basis for strengthening the competitiveness of the new company engaged in the provision of hairdressing services and evaluation of business activity in the services market.
Car Licence Plate Detection and Recognition
Kovaříček, Roman ; Procházka, Boris (referee) ; Váňa, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with finding the license plates in the image and pattern recognition. Work describes short history of the state license plates. It deals with also the current state license plates and their problems. It analyzes the process of image segmentation and follow evaluation of selected areas. A part of the work is design and implementation of algorithms that solve candidate search areas or characters. The final step is the recognition of individual characters and display the user with details of the result.
Segmentation in the color fundus imges
Malínský, Miloš ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
Optic nerve head and macula are important structures in fundus images. Detection and measurement plays crucial role in several diagnosis methods of optic disease. This work is focused on the detection of the central point of macula and optic nerve head, where the inner border is detected too. There are many methods for extracting this structure in retinal images. Due to the unique properties of each acquisition technique, a single generally acknowledged detection algorithm does not exist. The whole detection process is described from preprocessing through segmentation towards postprocessing. Presented methods are based on the combination of correlation techniques, Hough transform, active contours and morphological operations. The detected contours of the optic nerve head are evaluated and quantitatively compared with the contour drawn by experienced ophthalmologist. The master thesis contains quantity of images that help to describe detection methods.
Implementation of Algorithm for Visual Web Page Segmentation
Popela, Tomáš ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Zelený, Jan (advisor)
Segmentation of WWW pages or page division on di erent semantics blocks is one of the disciplines of information extraction. Master's thesis deals with Vision-based Page Segmentation - VIPS method, which consist in division based on visual properties of page's elements. The method is given in context of other prominent segmentation procedures. In this work, the key steps, that this method consist of are shown and described on examples. For VIPS method it is necessary to cooperate with WWW pages rendering engine in order to obtain Document Object Model of page. The paper presents and describes four most important engines for Java programming language. The output of this work is implementation of VIPS algorithm just in Java language with usage of CSSBox core. The original algorithm implementation from Microsoft's labs is presented. The di erent development stages of library implementing VIPS method and my approach to it's solution are described. In the end of this work the work's outcome is demonstrated on several pages segmentation.
Image data segmentation using deep neural networks
Hrdý, Martin ; Myška, Vojtěch (referee) ; Kiac, Martin (advisor)
The main aim of this master’s thesis is to get acquainted with the theory of the current segmentation methods, that use deep learning. Segmentation neural network that will be capable of segmenting individual instances of the objects will be proposed and created based on theoretical knowledge. The main focus of the segmentation neural network will be segmentation of electronic components from printed circuit boards.
Multimedia player controlled by hand gestures.
Novotný, Luděk ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Olejár, Adam (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the hand gesture detector. Theoretical part is devoted to the discussion of current segmentation and detection methods. They were chosen those, which would work best as the controlling methods of multimedia player. The proposed algorithm is described with the help of flowcharts. Detector is written in Java language with the use of OpenCV library. Background subtraction segmentation method and convex hull approximation are used for gesture detection. Detector can distinguish between six gestures and track the center of palm. Finally, the detector was connected with proposed and implemented document, image and multimeda files browser.
Terrain passability analysis using machine understanding of maps
Pařík, David ; Jelínek, Aleš (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with creation of computer aplication that can be used for conversion of raster maps for orienteering into model. Aplication will use this model to calculate optimal track between two selected locations. The thesis describes the development of a module for speed analysis in different types of terrain and another module for detection of roads and impassable objects. Thesis builds on work of Ing. Pavol Kršák and describes new features that were implemented to simplify user's control.
3D Slicer Extension for Tomographic Images Segmentation
Chalupa, Daniel ; Jakubíček, Roman (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
This work explores machine learning as a tool for medical images' classification. A literary research is contained concerning both classical and modern approaches to image segmentation. The main purpose of this work is to design and implement an extension for the 3D Slicer platform. The extension uses machine learning to classify images using set parameters. The extension is tested on tomographic images obtained by nuclear magnetic resonance and observes the accuracy of the classification and usability in practice.
