Systems of energy efficient buildings
Šlampová, Kateřina ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is systems of energy efficient buildings with a focus on the building envelope. The first theoretical part describes the quantities that we consider when designing the building envelope. The second half of the theoretical part is with reference to the experimental part of the thesis focused on a special type of vertical perimeter structure, namely walls with live vegetation installed from the outside of the structure. The second, practical part of this work, deals with the design of heating and hot water supply for a multifunctional building. The design is elaborated in two variants - heating by means of radiators in the first variant and in the second variant by means of floor heating for residential units of the solved building. The third part define an experiment, which had the task of comparing the measured quantities on two types of vertical perimeter structures, namely a structure with growing greenery from the outside and an identical structure only without a layer of greenery. At the same time, the task was to check the possible influence of the applied greenery on heat losses, and thus the design of the heating system.

Single-family detached house in Březina
Pastva, Lukáš ; Sukop, Lukáš (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the development of a documentation for a detached family house in Březina. The house is designed for four people and consists two floors. Gable roof is over the main house and a flat roof over the adjacent carport, which has green roof. The base slab is made of reinforced concrete and is placed on a layer of foam glass aggregate. The envelope walls are designed from ceramic blocks filled with insulation. The carport is made of fair-faced reinforced concrete. The first floor contains an utility room, a study, a bathroom, a small toilet and a social part of the house. On the second floor is the private part of the house which consists of a master bedroom, rooms, and a bathroom and a separate toilet. The HVAC systems are designed for proper functionality of the building. The house will be heated using an air-to-water heat pump and heat distribution will be ensured through underfloor heating. The air exchange will be ensured by an air handling unit in combination with heat recovery. Fresh air will be supplied to living areas and extracted via sanitary facilities outside the home. Rainwater will be accumulated in a tank and further used for garden irrigation. Excess water will be infiltrated into the ground on the property. The project also includes an energy label prepared in the Energetika software. The designed family house falls into the classification class ,,A - exceptionally energy efficient'".

The aim of this bachelor thesis is design of low-energy detached house. The project is divided into two parts. The first part is the project documentation for building permission, and the second is focused on building services. Part of building permission is fire safety of building, acoustic and daylight assessment and assessment of constructions from thermal technology. The house located in Eastern Krkonoše mountains in Pec pod Sněžkou, Velká Úpa, Trutnov district. The house is connected to the electrical grid, water supply and sewage system. Part of the electricity is provided by photovoltaic panels on the gable roof. The building is located on a sloping plot and is designed as three-story house with residential attic, gable roof and counter dormer. Roof is insulated with over-rafter insulation. The building is based on foundation strips made from reinforced concrete. External walls of the underground floor are made from permanent formwork concrete blocks with reinforced concrete infill. Above-ground floors are designed from Porfix aerated concrete blocks. External walls of underground floor are insulated with ETICS. External walls of the upper floors are insulated with stone insulation and supplemented with a ventilated facade with wooden cladding. The floor structure above the underground floor is designed from monolithic reinforced concrete and above the first above-ground floor is formed by the Porfix floor system. On the underground floor there is garage, utility room, ski storage room and wellness area with bathroom and small kitchen. Kitchen, bathrooms and habitable rooms are located on the upper floors. Part of the documentation is the conceptual design of air conditioning and rainwater management. Because the building is designed in the mountains, I focused on heating system.
