Single-family house
Minár, Ján ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a nearly zero-energy detached house. The first section of the thesis focuses on documentation for building permission, while the second section addresses building services as its main topic. Within the first section, assessments related to fire safety, daylight, acoustic properties, and thermal parameters are included. The house is located in the suburbs of Prague on a level plot and is designed as a two-story house with a pair of mono-pitched roofs. Reinforced concrete foundation strips form the basis of its structure. Aerated concrete blocks are used for the construction of partition walls, load-bearing walls, and the floor structure. The living room and kitchen are situated on the first story, intended to serve as the social area of the house. The private area comprises a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and its own bathroom. The second story houses three bedrooms and another bathroom, serving as a private area. In the second section, I have created a conceptual plan that addresses cooling, the heating system, harnessing energy from photovoltaic panels, effective rainwater management within the plot, wastewater treatment, and electric installations. My primary focus was on designing the ventilation system with a heat recovery unit. For both heating and cooling needs, I chose an air-water heat pump. For heating, I designed a floor heating system complemented by electric towel radiators to ensure optimal comfort in both bathrooms. Fancoil units provide cooling. Additionally, the documentation includes the Building's Energy Performance Certificate, providing an overview of the building's energy efficiency.
Detached house Křenovičák
Pagáčová, Nikola ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor´s project is to design a single-family detached house ,,Křenovičák”. The thesis has two parts: the project documentation for a building permit, and documentation of heating systems, etc. The house is located in Křenovice u Slavkova. It´s make an L-shape. The ground floor has partly a roof slab with a green roof, the first floor has a roof slab with aggregate. Floor slab over first floor is partly supported by three columns. On the first floor, you can find a lobby, a corridor, a bathroom, an utility room, a study room, and living space connected with a kitchen and dining space next to terrace. On the second floor is a master bedroom, two separate rooms for children, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and another study room. Walls are from ceramic blocks and slabs are from precast concrete panels. There´s ground-water heat pump with ground well connected with floor heating system and 200 litres hot water cylinder. House using water mains and main sewer. Main concept design is focused on mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. Ventilation rate is 400 m3/h, because of cooker hood. There´s equal pressure ventilation. Fans are connected to supply by flexible ducts. House is connected to electricity grid. On the higher roof are photovoltaic panels to generate electricity. Excess energy is stored in batteries. Supply ducts and pipes are in ceiling voids. The documentation is included Energy Performance Certificate.
Detached House
Šulák, Radek ; Zichová, Barbora (referee) ; Lavický, Miloš (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the elaboration of the detailed design documentation for a new family house in the village of Troskotovice. The aim is to design the layout of the building with almost zero energy consumption, to choose a suitable structural system and supporting system, and to solve the building's embedment in the ground. The family house is a two-storey building with an energy-efficient wall system using ceramic brick blocks. The shape of the building is U-shaped, creating an atrium in the southern part, which is the main architectural element. The ceiling structure is made of reinforced concrete. The roofing is designed with a flat double-skin roof. The work also includes a structural and physical assessment.
Detached house Rybníček
Kvasničková, Barbora ; Melcr, Petr (referee) ; Fišarová, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to design a new detached house at the level of project documentation for the building permit. The first part of the thesis contains the architectural and structural design, fire safety design and building physics. The second part of the thesis contains the design of building services. The house is designed on a flat plot in the small village Újezd–Rybníček. It has rectangular shape, two storeys and a flat green roof with photovoltaic power plant. Detached garage with rectangular shape has a flat roof. On the ground floor, there are a kitchen with living room with the access to the deck, a workroom with suite bathroom, a utility room, a bathroom, and a toilet. On the first floor, there are rooms for children, bedroom with dressing room, workroom, a bathroom, and a toilet. The house is based on a cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation slab with foam glass. The load–bearing walls is made of sand-lime blocks. The horizontal structures are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. I designed ventilated façade with fibre cement cladding and green walls. Heating is provided by a geothermal heat pump with a vertical ground borehole. I designed floor heating. Ventilation is provided by a mechanical ventilation unit with heat recovery. For rainwater management, I designed an accumulation plastic tank for storage and use rainwater for irrigation green façade and watering garden. From the tank is designed to overflow to infiltration tunnels. The thesis also includes an energy performance certificate for the building.
Detached house on a sloupe
Vincenc, Lukáš ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is design documentation for construction of family house. House is designed for permanent housing for family of four members. The building has one above-ground and one underground floor, which is set into the slope. The plan of the house is T-shaped. Vertical circumferential and supporting constructions are designed according to Porotherm system and are equipped by contact thermal insulation system. Horizontal load-bearing structures are made of reinforced concrete. Roof construction of the object is composed by shaped roof.
Detached house
Drongová, Zuzana ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the preparation of project documentation at the level of construction implementation. The aim was to design a family house with almost zero energy consumption. The family house is partially basemented and with a habitable attic. The building is roofed with a gable roof with a corrugated metal roofing. On the south-west side, a dormer roofed with a pitched roof is proposed. On the northwest side of the building is a one-car covered garage with rhombus wood siding and glass infill. The roofing is designed with a vegetated flat roof. The main load-bearing system is made of aerated concrete blocks. The perimeter basement masonry is made of lost formwork blocks. Thermal insulation of the building is solved by contact insulation system ETICS. The building is based on foundation strips.
