The thesis focuses on impacts of shortage of places in kindergarten in the Czech Republic's tax revenues due to reduced participation of women in labor market. Within the work is described the situation on imaginary kindergarten market. The supply side is made of kindergartens and the demand side is made of children between age 3 and 6 and their parents. Comparasion of cost expended on establishing new positions in kinderkarten with tax revenue is illustrated by cost benefit analysis. The goal of cost benefit analysis in this work is to prove or disprove expediency hypothesis of establishing new positions in kindergartens in comparison with total lost tax revenue.

Interactions of Zn2+ ions with proteins and nucleic acids
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Kateřina
Interaction of Zn2+ ions with proteins and nucleic acids Zinc is an important metal in biological systems. It is a strong Lewis acid, forms a stable Zn2+ ion and can exist in several coordination geometries. Zinc is required for the activity of more than 300 enzymes. In proteins zinc can either participate directly in chemical catalysis or can be important for maintaining protein structure and stability. In this work a dataset of high quality (resolution better than 3 Ǻ) crystal structures deposited in the Protein Data Bank on internet have been examined to identify typical zinc binding sites and to establish their coordination geometries. Totally 135 zinc binding sites found in 74 structures have been analyzed. The most frequent coordinating atoms are sulphur in cystein, NE2 and ND1 nitrogens in histidine followed by oxygen atoms in carboxylates of aspartic and glutamic acids. 67% of zinc binding sites were found to be four-coordinated with tetrahedral coordination geometry. In contrast Mg2+ cations show a clear preference to bind to oxygen atoms and to form octahedral cavities. We have not found any structure with a direct zinc coordination to DNA except the 1ZQT structure which was however excluded due to its low resolution (> 3 {\AA}). Similarly only three zinc binding sites have been found in RNA structures which were however determined in the protein free environment. All other zinc binding sites have been located in proteins even in the presence of the nucleic acids.

EDUCATION AS AN IMPLEMENT FOR GREATER APPLICATION OF SENIORS ON THE LABOUR MARKET
Pospěchová, Michaela ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Štípek, Vladimír (referee)
This bachelor thesis is based on aging population and the ways in which elderly people adapt to ongoing changes in society. In times of new technologies and innovations, older population find it more difficult to stay economically active. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the influence of leisure education on active participation of senior population in job market, based on education in Universities of Third Age (U3A).I will analyze the influence of U3A on our seniors regarding their abilities and motivations in a job market in Czech Republic. Respondents will be divided into two groups. First will be from a capital city Prague, and the second from a smaller city Uherské Hradiště. The estimate number of respondents will be 100. This survey will be based on questioners which will help to establish if the percentage average of students or graduates of U3V in current employment in Czech Republic is higher then average of working seniors. Respondents will be divided into 5 year age groups. I will furthermore compare these results with working seniors in Germany. The theoretical part will include basic use of terminology regarding senior population, U3A and a job market. As well as description of motivation for studying It will include new development in universities and portfolios of educational courses. The practical part will include a quantitative research based on questionnaires and a universities SWOT analysis. The conclusion of my theses will either proof or refute the established hypothesis.

Determinants of entry of inhabitants of the Czech Republic to the second pillar of pension reform
Jetmar, Jan ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
This thesis summarizes, compares and analyses determinants with the major influence on the decision-making process of a potential participant of the second pillar of pension reform in the Czech Republic. This was achieved by using the method of interviews with financial institution employees which arranged the savings in the second pillar. Based on theoretical knowledge there were six aspects that have been identified with a potential to take part in the decision-making process of participant -- political risks, awareness, experience with foreign countries, voluntariness, yields on capital markets and financial situation, reluctance of entry and alternative investment. By using this method the political risks has been detected as the most important determinant linked with negative campaign of opposition and distrust in political establishment. The experience with foreign countries has shown as insignificant factor. The value added by this study consists in application this method on the topic of second pillar entrance.

Alternative methods of therapy for oncology patients
BĚLOHLAVÁ, Nikola
Breast carcinoma or breast cancer is one of women?s most often diagnosed tumors in the Czech republic. Several types of scientific treatment are currently available nevertheless it is a very serious disease. It is understandable that women suffering from breast cancer and all cancer patients and their relatives expend considerable effort to obtain information about all types of available treatments which can reverse the unfavorable diagnosis. Very often they resort to some form of alternative therapy. Alternative medicine provides a large choice of methods. But the problem is, that positive effects of alternative therapies are not checked (14). Oncological diseases are very serious, therefore alternative therapies pose a risk to oncology patients when they replace scientific treatments as an alternative. The aim of this thesis is to determine the opinion of women with breast cancer on alternative therapies. The component aims of this work are to find out what the women know about the risks and types of alternative therapy methods in oncology, how women?s point of view on this kind of therapy changes, how these methods affected their life and which of this methods are the most popular with women with breast carcinoma. I deal with the biological and psychosocial aspects of breast cancer in the theoretical part of this thesis and then classical and alternative therapies of treatment which can be used during the treatment. The question of the disease of breast cancer is a very individual sphere. It is assumed that information of intimate character will be used. I considered it suitable for this purpose to use a qualitative form of research. I chose the technique of semi-structured interviews. I prepared a list of instructive questions and then added additional questions as required. The respondants to the interviews I recruited using the technique snowball. I found the contacts through a woman who I know very well. The interviews with the women were processed in the form of case studies, I prepared 7 case studies. 11 women were asked but 4 women refused to participate. I divided the women into 3 categories according to their opinion of the alternative therapies of treatment for their disease. Common factor was that non of the women t disturbed or neglected the prescribed plan of treatment provided by a team of specialists. Two of the women momentarily wanted to finish the classical prescribed treatment. The largest part of respondents was favorably inclined toward the alternative methods of treatment. Two women stated that they are sure that the alternative methods were successful. Two respondents said that they have a positive opinion on this treatment, but they are not sure of the positive effect of alternative therapies. Three other respondents had the opposite opinion on the alternative therapies in oncology. One of these women said that her bad opinion of alternative therapies was caused the terrible experience her friend had with alternative medicine. Almost all respondents used one of the alternative methods during their disease despite the fact that most women do not believe in the positive effects. Two women were not aware of the use of any kind of this therapy. The most commonly used methods were food supplements. The minority part of women (2) used biotronics, homeopathy and acupuncture.

Analysis of the pension systems of Czech Republic and Slovak Republic and their comparison in the years 1993-2015
Kovanda, Dominik ; Zeman, Martin (advisor) ; Bartůsková, Lucia (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of pension systems in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The result of this analysis is the evaluation and comparison of these systems and their functionality for the needs of present and future generations of retired people. In 2016, the second pillar of the pension system in the Czech Republic was cancelled. This pillar was established in 2013. Its creation and existence was deemed unsuccessful. In contrast with the Slovak system where the second pillar operates eleven years and has a large number of participants. Theories of causes of failure of the second pillar in the Czech Republic in the last year came up a lot. The importance of initial conditions of the other pillars in the pension system before the reform was crucial for the success of the new, now canceled that second pillar. The theoretical part of thesis studies social policy, its divisions and implementation. Subsequently there are descriptions of general models of pension systems, their financing methods and possibilities of implementation. The practical part analyzes the historical development and current form of pension systems in the Czech and Slovak Republics. It also describes ways of contribution, profiles of participants, payment options and risks of individual pillars. At the end of the practical part is the comparison of both systems, with projections of possible developments in the future.
