Fairy tale as a phenomenon (comparative reading of fairy tales)

Naším hlavním tématem je však porozumění obsahu a významu kouzelné pohádky a objevování příčin shody pohádek vyskytujících se v mnoha geograficky i kulturně vzdálených zemích světa. Hledání odpovědi na otázku: O čem je kouzelná pohádka je společným jmenovatelem všech kapitol. Východiskem byla jednoduchá hypotéza: Pohádka (možná) vypovídá o hlubokých základních lidských zkušenostech a existenciálních situacích. Je však třeba pátrat po tom, jestli se zakládá na pravdě a o jaké lidské zkušenosti a existenciální situace se jedná. Zároveň je pohádka (možná) živým prostředníkem interakce mezi dospělými a také mezi dospělými a dětmi, která pomáhá sdílet základní lidské zkušenosti. Vyprávění a společné prožívání pohádky je autentickým rituálem sdílení hlubokých pravd.

Methodology of Testing Web Applications

The principle aim of this thesis is to create an unified methodical framework for a smaller Software Testing Department. Furthermore, its aim is to define and describe an important element of testing - the software mistake, define the way of its reporting and finally with the view of it to specify the troubleshooting areas of web applications. The last aim is to find a solution of how to publish this methodology. The aims of this thesis were reached by studying available theoretical findings and applications of principles that are known from notorious and approved methodologies which complexly focus on the software development. These principles were confronted with author's practical experience. Based on these processes, the methodology described above has been originated The contribution of the thesis is in the inner structure of the methodology, summarization of the most important information, application of practical personal experiences and adapting some elements of the methodology according to its usage in a small team. Other strong points are the proposals and recommendations of how to improve the situation on the testing department of a particular company, how to publish the methodology and how to maintain it in the future. The thesis is composed of three main parts. In the first chapter, the essential characteristics of testing, models of the life cycle of software development, sorts and levels of tests are given. The second chapter is the crucial part of the thesis. It describes the whole methodology - the main workflow and its details (processes), activities made during these processes, roles occurring in the methodology and the description of its responsibility (for activities and artefacts), artefacts made on the testing department, full description of mistake and its reporting and finally the summary of mistakes appearing in the web applications environment. The last chapter attends to the way of putting the methodology into operation - technical coverage of particular parts of the methodology in the present time, suggestion of improvement the testing in the future and possibilities of the publication of the methodology.

The thesis is devoted to the issue of Czech-Russian trade relations and highlight Russia as a country suitable for Czech exporters. The aim of this thesis is to comprehensively analyze the business environment in Russia as a prior country for czech exporters, evaluate the potential of Russian market for Czech exporters, further characterize Czech-Russian business relations, describe the state institutions involved in promoting exports and provide comprehensive information to potential investors . The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter analyzes Czech-Russian trade relations, with the emphasis on foreign trade.The second chapter deals with a comprehensive macroeconomic analysis of the RF with an outline of possible business opportunities for Czech exporters on the Russian market,a third chapter is devoted to pro-export policy of the Czech Republic.

Settlement in criminal proceedings

The topic of this diploma thesis is the settlement in criminal proceedings, one of diversions, or also alternatives to typical course and outcome of criminal proceedings. The settlement was incorporated into the Czech Criminal Procedure Code by the amendment n. 152/1995 Sb. with the effect on 1st September 1995. The settlement is an institute of criminal procedure law originating in restorative justice principles and its goal is to restore affected relationship between the defendant and the victim. Then proceedings of the settlement should not serve only to compensate the victim, as is sometimes perceived by the public, but also to clarify causes of the conflict during the active participation of both parties and to assume personal responsibility for the crime committed which may have significant effects in terms of criminal prevention. Despite the fact that the settlement is a form of diversion beneficial to the defendant (it leads to cessation of prosecution), victim (it is faster to obtain the compensation) and society (prevention from committing other crimes, relieving courts in favour of complex and serious crimes), it is rarely used in practice. Moving information system in the cloud.

This thesis deals with the theme Moving information system in the cloud. The paper first describes the issue theoretically. It is defined and characterized by cloud computing as the current major trend in the implementation of information technology. A description of individual actors and models emerging in cloud computing, its brief history, related technology underlying or expand cloud computing, client issues and reference architecture model. It also includes an analysis of the current state offered cloud services, compared to open source and proprietary solutions, and was implemented insight into the upcoming National Strategy for Cloud Computing The case study move e-mail system to a hosted private cloud is demonstrated by the complexity of the entire process and the rugged environment of government institutions. On the basis of theoretical knowledge and case studies in the last chapter proposes a model that would in general help in deciding whether the institutions of government information systems migrate to cloud computing, which is also in line with the forthcoming national strategy.

Analysis of the profitability of companies and their success in the procurement market

The theme of this thesis is an analysis of the profitability of companies and their success in the procurement market. The first part of the work focuses on the characteristics of procurement, the distribution according to different perspectives and in the final legislation as an important tool for market regulation. In the second part is mentioned issue of corruption in the procurement markets as a difficulty factor and inhibiting the influx of foreign investment. The next part is introduced by the construction sector in which this work focused. This chapter describes the current data and development in recent years in construction. The penultimate section is explained the profitability and its indicators used in the analysis work. The last chapter is devoted to the analysis itself and through the work.

History interpretation in Fred Wander's literary works

II Title History interpretation in Fred Wander's literary works Abstract The topic of this diploma thesis is an interpretation of events during the Second World War in Fred Wander's literary work, an important representative of German written literature in the past century. The first chapter presents Fred Wander's life and work and is based on Wander's own autobiography and interviews. The following chapters are dedicated to individual analysis of his three writings: Der siebente Brunnen, Ein Zimmer in Paris and Hotel Baalbek. Wander especially focuses on mediating concrete personal life stories during that epoch. Hotel Haalbek work captures a situation during the first years of the war in the southern France. Der siebente Brunnen describes prisoners' lives in a concentration camp. Wander dedicates Ein Zimmer in Paris work to the topic of how to cope with war experience. The main target of this diploma thesis is about an interpretation of selected themes which are crucial for the mentioned works. Searching for the place of man in the universe in the work of Emanuel Rádl and Milan Machovec

This paper tries to search for the place of a man in the universe. For this purpose, the author decided to compare some of the key works of two major Czech philosophers, namely Emanuel Rádl and Milan Machovec. This paper is intended to offer the int roduction to the work of these two philosophers and/or to two philosophical t rends in the modern Czech philosophy. The fi rst chapter deals with methods of the philosophical work of both authors. It also describes the basic points of their questioning, as wel l as intentions they wished to achieve through this questioning. The second chapter focuses on the place of a man in the universe as perceived by Emanuel Rádl; the thi rd chapter analyses the same theme as presented in the work of Milan Machovec. The purpose of the fourth chapter is to present comparison of the main thoughts of the two preceding chapters, and to come to the intentions of this paper indicated above. This theme inter alia offers not only the insight into the contemporary Czech philosophy, but also the insight into the issues of the present life of a man and the society.

Analysis and Comparison of Dramatizations of The Wind in the Willows

This diploma thesis deals with an analysis and comparison of dramatizations of The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, a book which ranks among the British children's classics. The paper examines to what extent the dramatizations correspond to the book, whether and why they deviate from the original text, and what consequences these changes have. The thesis focuses on four dramatizations – a play by Alan Alexander Milne called Toad of Toad Hall, Alfa Theatre production of The Wind in the Willows, a Walt Disney short animated film The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, and Terry Jones´s adaptation of The Wind in the Willows to a feature film. In the thesis, firstly the book and then the dramatizations are analyzed in terms of the theme and genre, characters, setting, composition and language use. Subsequently, the dramatizations are examined and compared with regards to the transformation processes – selection, condensation, substitution, amplification, and changes in composition and language. In the final chapter, I summarize my findings and draw the conclusion.

The analysis of the primary prevention programmes in Liberec region

Topic of my thesis covers the analysis of programmes, related to primary prevention within the Liberec region. Theoretical part of my thesis comprises the identification of basic terms that are related to the development of socio-pathological phenomena and risk behaviour of children and youth. Furthermore, the thesis depicts the prevention system, which is focused on primary prevention of the risk behaviour. An important part of the thesis is the primary prevention as a part of the upbringing process. The theoretical part of my thesis ends with a chapter that is dealing with the community planning process of villages. By means of an empiric investigation, practical part of the thesis analyses the situation within the primary prevention at elementary schools, information on the number of providers and programmes for primary prevention are investigated in the thesis as well. Another important output lies within the needs and attitudes of the villages in the given region.
