Motivational system as a part of the company management

In the course of the process of globalization changes more and more attention will be paid to the human capital since it significantly contributes to fulfilment of the strategical goals of the company and eventually to achievement of entrepreneurial success and competitiveness on the market. Thus, endeavour of the company should not be only to provide and maintain qualified manpower, but also to attempt to provide their satisfaction and motivation, which will undoubtedly lead to higher working efficiency. Management of the company should proceed this way, too. The objective of the Bachelor Thesis was to research and describe motivational system in the chosen company and its impact on the company management with intention to attain the synthesis of the generalized knowledge and individual proposals for practice in the conclusion. The first part of the Bachelor Thesis is theoretical and deals with interpretation of the terms concerning motivation in relation to the area of company management at the present and future (knowledge) society. Next part, which is practical, contains detailed characteristics of the chosen company and the research of its motivational system by means of the adequately worked out questionnaire. The research of the motivational system of the company was performed in the company CVP Galvanika s.r.o. in two groups of employees: ordinary workers and the management. The company specializes in the surface treatment of the metallic products and operates in the Czech market as an important supplier for the automotive industry. On the basis of analysis and evaluation of the results of the performed research improvement of motivational system in the areas of education and development, financial assessment, non-monetary awards in the form of praises and acknowledgement, working conditions, decision-making and knowledgeability of the employees. In this situation it depends only on the company whether it will take these proposals as its own and will start to implement them in its motivational system.

The master thesis "Economical and trade aspects of defense industry" is aimed at analyzing the relationship between defense suppliers and a government. The thesis describes the conditions under which the market is inefficient and causes of government failures. The important principle is the one of Pareto efficiency, which serves as a efficiency benchmark of economic allocation. The thesis has utilized theoretical methods to analyze individual aspects of international arms industry - both economic and non-economic.
The reasons and solutions to african poverty

Africa is a poor continent with many faults and problems, which we aren't able to solve sufficiently. There are many reasons for the prevailing poverty, including the influence of foreign companies and capital, foreign governments, enormous corruption and unfair international trade. Many countries don't grow although they are rich in resources. There have to be multiple and complex solutions, of which some are given in this thesis.
Terrorism and islam

This bachelor thesis analyses the possible connection between islam and terrorism. The autor focuses on the truth behind the premise that islam is by default a religion leading to the perpetration of terrorist acts or if this premise is caused only by the misinterpretation of the Qur'an and the misuse of religion for the sake of violence. The aim of this thesis is to prove that to identify islam with terrorism is wrong because the spreading of the islamic values is not conditioned by power forces.

Effects of globalization on international criminal activity

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the effects of globalization on international criminal activity. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter defines the terms "globalization" and "international crime". The second chapter presents the issue in its historical context. The third chapter is divided into several subchapters (arms trade, drug trade, human trafficking, terrorism, counterfeit trade, trade in organs, trade in thrash, cybercrime, money laundering and government response), looking more closely at each type of trafficking and the problems directly related to it, and analyzing their main aspects. The fourth chapter explores the issue in the specific context of the Czech Republic. The last chapter deals with forecasts of future development and possible recommendations how to counter the rise of international crime.
Positive and negative effects of globalization on product design

The thesis discuses the effects of globalization on product design. The aim of the thesis is to describe the changes of factors that affect product design and the impact of these changes on product design. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of terms employed, particularly the terms globalization and product design. In the second part, the concept of glocalization is described and demonstrated, which is closely related to globalization. Changes brought about by globalization of all factors influencing product design mentioned in the first part are considered while the practical impact of these changes is demonstrated on various examples from everyday life.
Globalization processes and their influence on society on the example of Czech Republic's membership in the European Union

This thesis deals with the globalization processes and their influence on society. The aim is to analyze the social consequences of globalization and to point out that globalization processes do not have only economic but also social consequences. It was used the available literature and relevant statistics and also a survey among young Czech people was carried out. Firstly, the thesis focuses on a definition and characteristics of the concept of globalization, its historical development and the characteristics of globalization processes. In the next section, attention is payed to the influence of globalization on the society as a whole and also on specific aspects. In the last part, the paper focuses on the Czech Republic and its membership in the European Union as one of the examples of globalization processes that our state and Czech society experience. The last part presents the results of the survey devoted to this topic. The main conclusion is that the impact of globalization on society should not be neglected, and vice versa should be in the spotlight as strongly affects our everyday lives.
New trends of diplomacy - good governance

This thesis deals with the presumption that multilateral diplomacy is a possible means to promote good governance. The first part described the origin, definition and criticism of the concept of good governance. Another part deals with transformations of diplomacy and international relations after the Cold War. Contemporary diplomacy must respond to globalization, interdependence, technological development, changing international environment and increase the number of actors in international relations. The last part is devoted to multilateral diplomacy, international organizations and especially their connection with good governance. In my thesis I came to the conclusion that multilateral diplomacy can be a useful tool for promoting the objectives of good governance and management of the state. The best space for the use of multilateral diplomacy as a means of promoting good governance is intergovernmental organization.
Advertising in the era of globalized world

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of local principals of McDonald's corporation and its promotion strategy. In the context of growing influence of the globalization, the economic areas are connected and the globalization also affects the culture. Local cultures are closer to each other and one global culture is being created. For every action there is a reaction, therefore also for the globalization there is its reaction -- a focus on local culture and a preference for local principal before the unification. In the first chapter, the basic terms are defined, such as marketing and commerce communications and advertising. In the thesis, the areas of influence of the globalization are analyzed, especially the changes in advertising in the global environment. Also the advertising strategy of McDonald's is analyzed through a survey. A new locally customized product is suggested in the conclusion of the thesis and more suggestions are made concerning the advertising of McDonald's Czech Republic.
