Incidence and prevalence of a disease in a district hospital over 3 years.

Branches of science such as epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, statistics and various statistical methods are by ground for activity of epidemiological-manager indicators. Incidence and prevalence are numbered among epidemiological-manager indicators. In condition of hospital Pelhřimov are these indicators written, analyzed and predicated for department of hospitalized in years 2005 -- 2007. At the same time is appraised use of capacities department of hospitalized, is made analyse and estimation of most often treated diagnosis and is watched progress their average time of treatment. The watching indicators are by one of series others records for manager decision-making by control of hospital.

Restoration of aquatic ecosystem and water quality in the drinking-water reservoir Římov after the flood in 2002

The extreme flood event in the catchment of the Malše River in August 2002 markedly changed hydrodynamics of Římov Reservoir (loss of thermal stratification; water residence time dropped from months to single days) and caused problems in water treatment due to a long-lasting increase in concentrations of dissolved organic matter. However, biota of the aquatic ecosystem was influences relatively little. Although large proportions of phytoplankton and zooplankton biomasses were flushed out of the reservoirs the originally dominant species re-established in their original size of biomass within less than one month. The fish community was influenced almost negligibly except for a temporal enrichment by species from streams and fishponds. These results evidence that the reservoir ecosystem is very stable towards fluctuations of hydrologic conditions.

A contribution to problems of the succession on the English throne after Henry VIII Tudor

Henry VIII, king of England, is recorded in history, especially in historical awareness of general public by his family life, record-setting six marriages, divorce of the first of them, beheading of two of his wives and separation of the Church of England from Rome. The aim of this thesis was to get "below the surface" of simplifying interpretation of reign of Henry VIII, to analyze, how king was trying to solve in both home and foreign policy a question of succession after himself on the English throne and establishing position of his house. Henry VIII was found in a very unstable and difficult position concerning the security of Tudor dynasty on the English throne for the main duration of his reign. So, this was one of reasons, why Henry in desire for having son decided to divorce with his first wife; this had extraordinary diplomatic and international consequences in difficult time of Italian wars. The whole situation led in legal and in the end religious separation of the Church of England from Rome. Matrimonial diplomacy and elimination prospective home rivals were usual instruments of securing of ruling dynasties both in England and the other European countries. Knowledge management is a way to effectively manage corporate knowledge. Goal of the thesis is to analyze tasks and ways of knowledge management and technological means to support it and test chosen software tools for creation of knowledge base of business terms. First part of the work is dealing with analysis of knowledge management, technics and tools, which are used and technologies for its support. Second part is focused on testing tools for creation of business terms knowledge base for needs of Business Intelligence Competency Center. Main asset of this thesis is in creating comprehensive overview of technics and tools of knowledge management and proper technologies for its support and in creating desicion-making basis for company, which tool they should use to establish business terms knowledge base in their firm.

Choosing a theme for a thesis on 3.lékařské UK faculty facilitated by that individual clinics, institutes and departments already offer students the topics more or less established research programs. In addition, of course, there is still a possibility for the student himself devised a problem that will be paid. I was determined to choose topic that will be in the field of psychiatry, because this subject I find interesting and serious I am thinking that my focus after school might be based in this direction. Teaching psychiatry, which I attended in Prague Psychiatric Center, left me very positive impression of this device, both in terms of clinics and research work, and mainly from physicians access to patients as well as science. I was therefore glad that I had the opportunity to working on his thesis on the grounds of the institution. The association of two serious illnesses, schizophrenia and diabetes mellitus, was for me, up until I started to this thesis, virtually unknown. During internship in a psychiatric clinic, but I was surprised observed that many patients with schizophrenia are obese and they themselves admitted that the therapy of certain drugs feel increased appetite. Rozklad těl hospodářských zvířat působením nekrofágních druhů bezobratlých

The aim of this study was to monitor invertebrates on experimental object (domestic duck), watch climatic conditions and consequently to experimentally count theoretical time of post mortem interval (time of experiment establishment). Experimental monitoring took place in T4 area in South Moravian region in altitude of 245 m.a.s.l., this region is labeled as "warm". Fourteen different species of necrophagous invertebrates were observed on the cadaver, which of them eight belonging to diptera genus and six to beetle genus. Based on puparia collecting and climatic conditions a time of experiment establishment from isomorphic diagram was calculated. From the comparison of theoretically counted and real time of dead body exposition a evident significant influence of temperature and temperature's fluctuation during the time of necrophagous insect's development on PMI assessment.

The thesis completely summarizes single steps that need to be done before opening one's own company and contains the business plan of a new rising restaurant with an estimation of whether the plan is realistic, feasible and if it has a chance to succeed. The thesis consists of the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of fundamental concepts related to this issue -- what business and company are, description of a successful businessman, activities which should be done before you start your own business and activities which should be avoided. After that there is the description of the most important aspects of a business plan -- its meaning, users, rules of correct elaboration, detailed structure and its appurtenances. The practical part contains of a concrete business plan of a restaurant in the region of Mělnik. It deals with a choice of a legal form of a company, optimal placing of a restaurant and its establishing, market analysis, creation of a product, planning of a proper marketing strategy, and making plan of management and financial plan with a prognosis of developement of economy for next years. The plan was created in a way to be tabled to financial institutions while a businessman needs money subvention and also to be a fundamental document for owners while they need to lead their business.

The Family Farm - like a place for community centre

The Bachelor work thesis The Family Farm - like a place for community centre (the Farm) focuses on possibilities how to establish the community centre on the farm. Because of this the thesis probe into contemporary state of social services and some farms in the district of Domažlice. Further on the thesis describes the function of the farms with Green Care services in Norway and the possibilities of transfered this kind of services into czech country with the view of local conditions; and how how will be possible to integrate the Farm into the systém of social services and community life in the village. The intended Farm is going to be establish in the village Díly (the south part of Protected lanscape area Bohemina Forest, the district of Domažlice, Pilsen region) like the non-profit organization which will draw experiences from Norwegian farms with Green Care services and the experiences form czech farmers. The main goal will be to explore the real opinions of farmers about the project of Farm in the named area and how will be possible to improve the occasions for the target groups - the children, youth, adults (especially unemployed), parents with children (on the maternity or paternity leave) and seniors. T. G. Masaryk and E. Benes. The friendship of two men in the Fisrt World War

The aim of this thesis is analysis of the friendship of two men Tomas Garrigue Masaryk and Edvard Benes, who cooperated together during the First World War. They established foreign resistance movement and took Bohemia to the independence. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first and the second chapters deal with the biographies of both politicians till year 1914. The third chapter describes correspondence between these two men, their age difference and the creation of foreing resistance movement. The last chapter is analyzing friendship and cooperation between T. G. Masaryk and E. Benes, their conversations, which was not only about their friendship, but they were about business matters too.

An analysis on the spectrum of shapes of German pottery at a housing estate in Pasohlávky

My study is about shape spectrum of the pottery found at the settlement in Pasohlávky (late region of Břeclav). It is a germanic settlement, dating to a Roman period (-10 B.C. - 400 A.D.), situated in south Moravia. The purpose of this study is to identify shapes of pot shards discovered in the settlement structures such as cottages and settlement pits. In the analytical part I compare the shapes of vessels and a ratio of shards of pots, dishes, terins, stored-food vessels and other shapes. I also attempt to establish the number of vessels in the settlement. In the last part I describe the function of the vessels and their significant value in common life of germanic families.
