Determination of rheological properties of kaolin - calcium aluminous cement
Zogata, Stanislav ; Keršnerová, Lucie (referee) ; Sokolář, Radomír (advisor)
This thesis deals with study of the rheological behavior of kaoline and calcium aluminous cement. The thesis describes the properties of the individual raw materials and interactions of kaoline and calcium aluminous cement with water. The experimental part focuses on the effect of individual plasticizers into a suspension with varying ratios of kaoline and calcium aluminous cement.
MSCR test in dynamic shear rheometer
Střasáková, Monika ; Coufalík, Pavel (referee) ; Kudrna, Jan (advisor)
The laboratory properties of bituminous binders in relation to permanent deformation are described in this bachelor‘s thesis. The principle and procedure of MSCR test will be explained in the theoretical part. The principle of empirical tests (needle penetration, elastic recovery and softening point) will be also described. The properties of four bituminous binders will be evaluated in practical part. The comparison of binders will be performed based on test results.
Testing of binders of thermal insulations for specific applications on technical appliances
Maňák, Jan ; Kulísek, Karel (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
This work focus on testing alcali-activated binders for thermal insulation which could be used for special industry devices. In the beginning of this work is presented example of thermal energy storage where these specific alcali-activated materials can be used. Ensuingly two construction with thermal energy storage tanks are mentioned. Most of the interest aims on ageing and rheological properties of alcali-activated binder. Some rheological methods are also discussed. In the end of this work is added practical experience.
Properties of cement composites with fiber reinforcement
Jankech, Filip ; Sitek,, Libor (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the knowledge of the possibility of using organic fibres as dispersed reinforcement into cement composites. It is concretely a summary of knowledge about the types and properties of synthetic and cellulosic fibres, their influence on the properties of fresh and hardened cement composite and lastly a description of the fire resistance of cement composites and the effect of organic fibres on the action of those composites at high temperatures and in the presence of fire. The experimental part is supposed to verify the effect of the cellulose fibres on increasing the durability of the cement composite at high temperatures.
Stability of humic acids in production of eye drops
Lišková, Kateřina ; Mravec, Filip (referee) ; Bilerová, Helena (advisor)
Glykoaminoglykans are the biological active compounds, which significantly affect the physiological processes in living organisms from under low concentrations. Marked representative of this group is hyaluronic acid. It is linear polysacharid, whose primary structure is consists of D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamin linking by glycosidic bonds (13) and (14). It is occurring connective tissues, synovial fluids and vitreous humor too, in which forms system with unique rheological and optical properties. Except of human body is its concentration especially high in the cockscombs. Hyaluronic acid has very high ability to bonding molecules of water, increasing molecular weight a then viscosity of aqueous solutions too. This fact together with characteristic viscoelasticity and lubricating properties plays an important role in preserve of organism. Acid, but its salt too form basic component of compounds using in ophthalmic surgery. It is using in extraction of cataract, operation of glaucoma, implantation of crystalline lens and corneal grafting too. Aim of this bachelor work was a determination of stability of hyaluronic acid solutions along the production of eye drops. Main objective was using by rheological measurement detect the influence of addition polymers (PVP, PACA, PEOX, PEG, PUD, PEI) and different pH on stability, degradation aqueous solution of hyaluronic acid at sterilization in the steam autoclave respectively.
Rheology of suspensions and gels within the preparation of perovskite layers
Pálesch, Erik ; Richtera, Lukáš (referee) ; Zmrzlý, Martin (advisor)
Meaning of perovskites and preparation of their layer by Pechini synthesis. Effect of system´s composition on rheological properties
Experimental analysis of torsion vibration of hard rubbers underlarge deformations
Šulc, Petr ; Pešek, Luděk ; Bula, Vítězslav ; Cibulka, Jan ; Košina, Jan
The paper deals with a new approach of hard rubber dynamic testing under large deformations. The experimental test rig based on controlled servo-motor was proposed and built for torsion straining of the rubbers under defined amplitudes and frequencies of angle vibration. The paper brings results of the first tests. For phenomenological description of the rubber behaviour the mathematical rheological model of rubber was created and its parameters were identified from fitting of analytical to experimental hysteresis curves.
Common topics of Science and Theology in high school education
ČANDOVÁ, Jana
In the introduction this thesis classifies different conceptions of the relationship between science and faith. Then, it focuses on common topics of natural science and theology in secondary education. It summarises and reflects the experience of teaching practice and deals with the practical options for Christian issues which the students are usually interested in. The topics are presented in relation to a specific high school curricula and sorted into three parts: Death and dysthanasia, Time and rheology, Deus vere ludens et homo ludens. Some practical examples and recommendation for teaching practice are also mentioned.
Mechanical Methods for Analyzing Nonlinear Parameters in the Skin
Tonnelier, E. ; Převorovský, Zdeněk ; Dos Santos, S.
The objective is to identify and evaluate the non-linear mechanical parameters of the human skin under loading measured by two different techniques. The first technique is based on ultrasound, and the second consists in analyzing the stress and displacement during the skin stretching. A small skin-loading, computer controlled device, equipped with ultrasonic, stress, and displacement transducers is attached to the human forearm by suction cups. Ultrasonic and mechanical parameters, recorded during programmed loading steps are related to the rheological model of the skin.
Rheology of high viscous food substances
Štern, Petr ; Vlasák, Pavel
Rheological properties of high viscous food substances, mainly of animal origin, greatly influenced their preparation, homogenization and processing. By collagen substances were studied the complex of rheological properties by their processing. We have determined, that the viscoelasticity have the bigger influence that dynamic viscosity.
