THE USE OF ELETRONIC MEASURING SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING STRUCTURES
Kovács, Pavel ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Doc.Ing. Karel Kubečka, Ph.D (referee) ; Daněk, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the use of the electronic measuring systems for monitoring structures. The first part of this work is focused on mapping the available measuring systems for monitoring deformations and strains, from the point of their measurement accuracy, the real advantages and disadvantages, including examples of monitoring of constructions. In the second part were selected measuring systems for monitoring strains and deflection interest structure. Subsequently, the measuring system with online recording into the tested roof structure was installed and the loading test was performed. Obtained data were compared with other two independent measurements. In the last part of the thesis, the measured values of each independent measurements were compared together, and with the values calculated from the mathematical model. The achieved results show that the installed monitoring system is capable to reliably measure deformation of the structure in real time and thus to warn the building administrator against the potential danger in advance.
Design of linear axis for heavy machine tool
Kubálek, Petr ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of the linear axis of a heavy machine tool. It describes the basic specifications of these machines, their manufacturers, the parts of which the axis consists and the design itself. The design includes several design variants, calculation of the movement mechanism, drive and linear guide. Follows the selection of the most suitable variant and the drawing documentation of the resulting linear axis.
Determination of the Q/h characteristic of storm water overflow chamber
Škrancová, Markéta ; Ježek, Jiří (referee) ; Žoužela, Michal (advisor)
The main task of this bachelor thesis is to determination the Q / h characteristics of the sluice chamber in the wastewater treatment plant on a physical hydraulic model, processing of all measured values and their analysis. All measurements were performed by the author of this work in the premises of the Laboratory of Water Management Research of the Institute of Water Structures of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. The result of the bachelor thesis is an equation used to determine the immediate flow which will be entered into to evaluation unit of the newly built measuring system. It will be located in the sluice chamber of the wastewater treatment plant and will be used to measure the flow and flowed amount of overflow water into the Svratka River.
Design of a headstock for a machine tool
Sehon, Tomáš ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design of a headstock for a machine tool. Theoretic part of this thesis provides basic description of a horizontal machine tool. Further it is dedicated to description of a headstock of machines with extensionable work spindle. In a design part firstly optimal variant is chosen by using multicriterial analysis. Necessary calculations were done and chosen variant was developed. Design is realised by 3D CAD model and drawing documentantion.
Thermoluminescence measurement system
Matějka, Tomáš ; Král, Jan (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with revision and design of electronic for measuring system PSI TL 500 which is designed for measurement of thermoluminescence phenomena in photosystem II. Thesis describes principles and properties of the measuring system in its current form and changes for the new version are discussed. Digital control part based on Xilinx Zynq platform is designed. Revision of analog measuring part of system is made and partial changes are implemented.
The multi-channel measuring system for measurement of the relative intensity of light
Damajka, Štěpán ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is design and realization of multi-channel measuring system for relative light intensity measurement. The first part of the thesis is devoted to introduction into basic light and its sensor. The next point is to design of measuring system. This system was proposed in respect of input requirements include the ability to set as high as possible level of output voltage, system linearity, DC and AC measurement and signal overload detection. The result of the thesis is fully functional measuring system, which is able to measure 8 channels simultaneously.
Design of linear axis for heavy machine tool
Göbel, Lukáš ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The content of this thesis is the description the various component of the linear feed axis, which are used in heavy duty machine tools. This describes their features, advantages and disadvantages and on these basics, are selected different appropriate design variants. In the second part of this thesis has been drawn up constructional design of these variants. They were subsequently compared and then was chosen the most ideal one for the designed machine, which is heavy machine tool upper gantry type. The work also includes the 3D CAD model of the final version and drawing documentation.
Experimatal Analysis of Windshield Wipers Motors
Dočekal, Martin ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The work deals with the methods of measurement of small DC motors, especially motors used for drives wiper’s mechanisms. Furthermore, describing the internal structure and function of wiper’s engines. Measurement of these engines is carried out mainly dynamometers which is described in more details in the work. However, measuring systems consist not only from the dynamometer but also many other components such as controllers, software for testing engines, various stands, temperature and speed testers, and many others. These components are taken into account, when selecting the most suitable measuring system. There are also various systems analyzed and compared in terms of both technical and economic parameters, but also in terms of measurement options, such as immediate viewing characteristics on a PC monitor of the system assembly, the possibility of measuring the friction torque, efficiency, heating, etc. In conclusion, there is a recommendation of measuring system which I chose as the best option according to its parameters.
Water mixer
Damajka, Štěpán ; Glos, Jan (referee) ; Veselý, Libor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to build device for mixing warm and cold water. Water mixer consists of a temperature sensor and flow sensor. Actuator devices are two-way diaphragm solenoid valves and three-way valve with servo-engine. Thesis focuses on identification system and design of a suitable controller.
