A chatbot for the banking domain
Schmidtová, Patrícia ; Dušek, Ondřej (advisor) ; Rosa, Rudolf (referee)
This thesis designs, implements and evaluates a task-based chatbot, which is expected to answer questions and give advice from the banking domain. We present an extendable natural language understanding (NLU) module based on GATE Framework which serves to create interpretations of the user's utterance. We implement a rule-based dialog manager component which is responsible for answering based on the NLU's interpretations and a stored context. We also implement a template-based natural language generation module. We then evaluate the chatbot with human testers, verifying it performs well in most cases and identifying areas for future improvement. 1
Chatbot for Smart Cities
Jusko, Ján ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to simplify access to information for citizens of the city of Brno and at the same time to innovate the way of communication between the citizen and his city. The problem is solved by creating a conversational agent - chatbot Kroko. Using artificial intelligence and a Czech language analyzer, the agent is able to understand and respond to a certain set of textual, natural language queries. The agent is available on the Messenger platform and has a knowledge base that includes data provided by the city council. After conducting an extensive user testing on a total of 76 citizens of the city, it turned out that up to 97\% of respondents like the idea of a city-oriented chatbot and can imagine using it regularly. The main finding of this work is that the general public can easily adopt and effectively use a chatbot. The results of this work motivate further development of practical applications of conversational agents.
Chatbot in an Enterprise Information System
Novák, Miroslav ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with problems of development of chatbots. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concept of the conversational interface in general and analyzes available technologies for its development. The practical part deals with the design and implementation of a particular chatbot, whose goal is to be a virtual assistant in the process of selecting and purchasing goods. This is accomplished by connecting the chatbot to the product information management system using OData web services. One of the biggest problems was to determine the order of questions asked about product properties. For the implementation was used decision tree theory.
Chatbot Capable of Information Search
Ďurista, Michal ; Beneš, Karel (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
Pojem ''chatbot'' je v dnešnej dobe umelej inteligencie veľmi populárny výraz. Chatbotov vidno stále viac a viac v biznis riešeniach dnešných firiem.
Proposal of Part of Information System
Kadleček, Tomáš ; Klusák, Aleš (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
The master thesis deals about proposal, implementation and creating chatbot logic for e-commerce. Chatbot will serve for communication with customers mostly, but also as an online marketing channel. Thesis includes theoretical part, analysis of present conditions and requirments and also practical part which is separated in more specific subparts. In theoretical part we can find necessary informations to understand the chatbot problematic. Analysis of present conditions and requirments is focused to already working e-commerce system, which is also used as source of informations in practical part.
Chatbot Based on Artificial Neural Networks
Čechák, Jiří ; Beneš, Karel (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The thesis describes an implementation and the way generative chatbot operates. The chatbot was implemented in Python using artificial neural networks and is based on a sequence-to-sequence principle. The final chatbot contains three models, which can be trained and used for conversations in a created GUI. After training of all three models, the chatbot was then tested by using BLEU metric. It was also tested by some users who compared the quality of its generated answers with the quality of answers created by already an existing chatbot Cleverbot. For a better understanding of the given problematics, there is a simple description of the basic terms, such as artificial intelligence, artificial neural networks, the difference between closed and open domain, word embedding and a basic description of the chatbots and their types, including their advantages, disadvantages and usage.
Chatbot Based on Artificial Neural Networks
Richtarik, Lukáš ; Beneš, Karel (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of chatbots, which are based on artificial neural networks and generative models. It also describes options and process of designing the chatbot as well as an implementation and testing using BLEU metrics. The work contains multiple experiments with different models of chatbots, their performance evaluation and comparison, user experience and several suggestions for future enhancements.
Automated conversation on the social platforms
Korjenevskaya, Anastasi ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
This thesis describes the process of development of text automated conversations or chatbots in the framework of social platforms. It also deals with introducing and comparing the different platforms for creation and communication of instant messaging bots, including their origin and development. Knowledge is practically demonstrated on the chatbots for Messenger and Telegram platforms, whose progress is also described. An integral part of the work is the introduction of instant messaging applications and human speech recognition tools.
ChatBot Based on Language Modelling
Radvanský, Matěj ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Skála, František (advisor)
This paper addresses the use of language modeling using neural networks in the chatbot. Problem is solved by using natural language processing and first step of generating response based on user input is input analysiss. As next beginings of sentences are created which are completed by output of neural network. All created sentences form final chatbot response. There was a comparisson with chatbot Cleverbot and measure of intelligence for both chatbots was determined. Based on testing results, some techniques for future progress were concluded.
ChatBot Based on Language Modelling
Plaga, Michal ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Skála, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with chatbot based on language modeling. The main part of thesis is implementation of chatbot on social networks. Comparison chatbot with other existing chatbots. A use of language modeling in chatbot application.
