The culture and art of Pardubice in a school project

in English: This thesis deals with a project in an after-school club in theory and subsequently the project "Culture and Arts Pardubice" is demonstrated in practice. The theoretical part deals with after-school clubs, their function and importance for parents and pupils. I mention organizational forms of work there and emphasize the project as a highly effective tool which is appreciated by pupils as well. The practical part is devoted to the project "Culture and Arts Pardubice", which I have implemented in the after-school club of the primary school Polabiny 1 - Pardubice.
Art education in the after-school club specialized on the using of nature resources

My Bachelor work deals with the possibility of the use of natural resources within the frame of the creative art education of children inside the after-school club. I try to focus on familiarization with different variety of natural resources and its utilization in context of pastime activities, concretely inside the after-school club. In full details described preparation and realization of the creative expression and using of natural resources are the part of the project documentation. The aim of my work is approach to the work with children during out- of-school activities inside the after-school club, encourage and support the creation of the positive relation to the ecology and respectable behavior to the nature, as well as using of natural resources for handicraft art.
Utilization of Children and Juvenile Literature in After-school Clubs

The thesis deals with utilization of literary education in after-school club in Studena. The theoretical part determines the key concepts (after-school club, leisure time, characteristic of children). In particular, the thesis concentrates on characteristics of school club as the environment for pedagogy and education of children in after-school time, characteristics of junior and middle-age children. The thesis further analyses the ways of work with the literary texts during literary and literary-dramatic education in more details. Practical part includes the research on utilization of the literary education in after-school club and also outside it and paper works aimed at literary and dramatic education.
Changes in the behavior of children in a group of school clubs the careful application of effective communication

The thesis deals with the instrumentality of usage efficient communication and prosocial activities on primary children´s behaviour in class after-school club. The observed areas are coping, solving plus percent occurrence of conflicts, mutual communication together with the expression of personal opinions. Furthermore, the work compared the atmosphere within the class after-school club before the research in January 2014 and after its completion in June 2014. The results of the empirical investigation of quantitative research are compared with each other at the beginning as well as at the end of the research. These outcomes were compared with the results of the control group. They prove that the change of educational approach by using the effective communication and prosocial activities can affect children's behavior.
Deepening the Relationship of Primary Pupils to Rituals and Traditions Through Art Activities in an After-school Club at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice

The thesis focuses on the development of primary pupils? relationship to rituals and traditions through art activities in an after-school club. The first chapter deals with the child and his or her entry to elementary school, different approaches to education, the effect entering a school has on a child and the characteristics of the primary years. Furthermore, the first chapter deals with free time and after-school activities and summarizes the importance of attentive care of children. The second chapter describes Waldorf (also known as Steiner) schools in general, their history and specific features. It also presents the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice. The third chapter deals with the after-school club at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice. It examines its time schedule, daily programme and whether the programme fulfils essential criteria for adequate spending of free time. The fourth chapter focuses on motivation, compares intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and depicts conditions for maintaining the children?s intrinsic motivation. Chapter five deals with art activities and the development of primary children?s drawing skills. The topic of chapter six is traditions and rituals. It discusses different rituals in the course of history and suitable age for introducing children to traditions and rituals. It describes the specific traditions and rituals practised at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice. The text is accompanied by a table summarizing these traditions and rituals, including the time of the year, a short description of each and relevant creative activities. Chapter seven is dedicated to advent and the traditions and sayings connected with this period of the year. It presents ideas for creative art activities and shows how an advent calendar can be made for children (rather than bought). From chapter eight onwards comes the practical part. It shows different ways of working with children and motivating them to participate in activities. Chapter nine looks specifically at the advent market, which traditionally takes place in all Waldorf schools, and why these markets are held. In chapter ten, concrete works of children for the advent market, made together with the teachers at the after-school club, are demonstrated. Participation in creating these products deepens the children?s relationship to this traditional event. In the last chapter, the 8th advent market held at the Waldorf Elementary School and Kindergarten in České Budějovice is evaluated.
Application of artistic activity in the work of literature for children of spilling over into pro-social education

I find the topic, that I have chosen for my dissertation, as a very good benefit for me as a scholmistress and for the children as well. Prosocial behaviour is a very important functional part of the society. The children need accept and give each other various forms of prosocial behaviour. , to grow up as full people. I suppose, that we must implantthe foundations of prosocial behaviour into the children from their birth. There are some foundatious of the human´s living together, which must be accepted by everyone. The main aim of my work is to reawaken and improve the prosocial ways of children´s behaviour.
The Development of Children?s Prosocial Skills with the Help of Art Techniques in the Free Time Pedagogy.

The main topic of this thesis is the description of children?s prosocial skills with the help of art techniques. The work is devided into a theoretical and a practical parts ? a project realized by children in an after-school club. In the theoretical part basic terms of prosocial skills are dealt with, e.g. communication, creativity, empathy, and the ability to listen. Also, some art techniques, such as drawing, painting, graphic art, space production, collage, crease technique, assemblage and decolage, are characterized in this part, as well as ways by which fine art helps to form a personality. The purpose of the project called ,,Magics of the Four Seasons? was to awaken children?s imagination, creativity and inventiveness. Children were supposed to develop the ability to cooperate, communicate and build a positive relationship and respect not only to themselves and their products, but also to the other members of the group. The realization of the project was to give the children a creative and fun time spent in the after-school club.
