Solar Radiation Measurements
Chvátal, Michal ; Pikula, Stanislav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor‘s thesis discusses design and verification of an inexpensive method for indicative measurement of direct and diffused solar radiation. The reason for the measurement of solar radiation is the estimate the heat gain of buildings. In this paper the difference between thermoelectric generator and cooler is described. There is also described how to choose a suitable module for solar radiation measurement. The design of the measuring circuit and the construction of sensor are also described. Eventually the measured values are compared with the values from the commercial pyranometer SG420.
The module for control and data acquisition of Pyranometers
Halm, Martin ; Veselý, Aleš (referee) ; Stojan, Radek (advisor)
This work deals with measuring of intensity solar radiation by pyranometer. In theory discusses the principle of solar radiation and its effects on photovoltaic cells. Also describes methods to measure different components of solar radiation. A task work is realize station for long time monitoring of global and diffuse components of solar radiation by pyranometer and measured values evaluace
Renovation of the Family House on the Nearly Zero-Energy Consumption Building
Bárta, Martin ; Píšová,, Petra (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
The diploma thesis contains by renovation of the family House on the “nearly zero-energy consumption building”, the proposal is for a variety of energy measures to achieve this status.
Solar Radiation Measurements
Mazoch, Jan ; Málek, Petr (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis discusses design and verification of an inexpensive method for indicative measurement of direct and diffused solar radiation, in order to estimate the heat gain of buildings. Theoretical part focuses on the analysis of solar energy and types of measuring devices. Practical part presents results of patent research and market research. The design of an ideal solution of a measurement circuit is also presented here. The last chapter concentrates on the practical verification of selected inexpensive sensors. It includes the design of a suitable datalogger and measurement circuit, plus the comparison of measured data with reference sensor. The conclusion is devoted to describing possible solution for the sensor which should be applicable in operating conditions.
Solar Radiation Measurements
Kokeš, Miroslav ; Krejčí, Jakub (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a moderate matrix sensor equipped with photodiodes BPW34 which is used to measure direct and diffused solar radiation. The theoretical framework of the thesis is focused on the analysis of solar radiation, influencing phenomenon and devices used for measuring solar radiation. Practical part of the thesis includes design and selection of suitable parts followed by construction of the device and its testing in operating conditions. The irregularity in design of the sensor caused the error which led to the failure in evaluating of measurement. The overall solar radiation data was measured and evaluated. The conclusion is dedicated to the evaluation of results and possible future plans to redesign the device in order to correct the measurement of all required data.
Equipment for measuring of solar radiation intensity
Bobalík, Lukáš ; Dolenský, Jan (referee) ; Stojan, Radek (advisor)
This project offers a proposal and a solution of an equipment for measuring of solar radiation intensity. It lists reasons why to measure intensity, contains fundamentals of photovoltaics, deals with how electric energy is obtained from a solar radiation and how the intensity of solar radiation affects the power output of photovoltaic devices. The project also deals with prime facts about 4 – 20 mA current loop and serial RS-232 communication. Proposed design is based on usage of the pyranometer CMP 21, a PIC microcontroller and a current loop to create a device which gathers data and transfers them to a PC for further processing.
Workplace for reference solar sample testing
Baklík, Radim ; Stojan, Radek (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the physical interpretation of the conversion of light into electrical energy in semiconductor components and principles of functioning of photovoltaic cells. The next section is devoted to the preparation work for the testing of solar photovoltaic reference devices, the methodology of measurement and description of the measurement equipment. The practical part of this thesis is to build a laboratory to determine the possibility of measuring the solar cells during the day and measure of the these cells in laboratory, and also in solar simulator.
Energy Evaluation of Technical Services Systems
Cap, Petr ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with the energy evaluation of existing buildings sports-recreational company complex in Brušperk. For this purpose provides a comparison of selected fuels as an energy source for the heating in terms of economy and their impact on the environment. In addition, provides an overview of existing legislation for elaboration of an energy audit. To complement shows the calculation of return on investment in solar panels on the roof of one of the objects. Calculation is based on the results of performed experimental measurement. Finally, the thesis presents a comparison of energy performance of buildings simulated in the Bsim software with reality.
