Hus and Wyclif. A comparison of the two tratises De ecclesia
Herold, Vilém
The Latin treatise of John Hus De ecclesia was the main reason for his being sentenced at the council of Constance. It was supposed that Hus's main source was the treatise of the same name by the Oxford philosopher and theologian John Wyclif. The comparison shows that Hus's text and conception indeed coincides in many places with Wyclif's treatise. Nevertheless the agreement between both in their ecclesiology is far from absolute or total. Hus advocated a moral reform of the Church, continuing the ideas of his Prague predecessors. He also had more respect for the Church as an institutional entity.

NÁZEV DIPLOMOVÉ PRÁCE A JEJÍ RESUMÉ V JAZYCE ANGLICKÉM (ENGLISH SUMMARY) The name of the thesis: The Legal Protection of databases. What is the value of information? This is the crucial question that arises in relation to the legal protection of databases. The rise of new media created a brand new world that we labeled the information society and whose most valuable asset has become totally interconnected with quality and speed. Hand in hand with this rapid transformation came the power of digitalization, which has permitted the dramatic speeding up of the transfer of data and information, while offering an almost indefinite amount of storage space, consequently making unauthorized and unlawful copying of data simple and efficient. As a result the form of a database has been transformed. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have constantly influenced industry and commerce at all stages and levels and thus the development of the database industry has become crucial for the information society. In other words, society has literally become dependent on the use of different kinds of databases. We encounter them everywhere-from public listings, libraries, telephone listings to free-time activities such are sports databases. Nevertheless, progress in new technologies also carries the new threat of...

The Financial analysis of bank customer
BUZKOVÁ, Tereza
The aim of my dissertation named Financial analysis of a bank client is to judge financial health of the company Alfa, v.o.s. This company deals with windows, doors and floor covering sale and mounting. Financial analysis is made upon credit request of the company. The firm demands an investment credit of 16 billion CZK for new sale store. In the first part of my thesis I executed financial analysis by means of method of relative indicators as liquidity, profitability, indebtedness and activity. I processed the outcomes in three accounting periods on the basis of submitted financial statements. I had tax statements p.a. 2005 and 2006, 2007 only preliminary. Preliminary means that the final accounts are not complete and the tax report has not been declared yet. The final statements might so be different from these submitted. In the next part of my thesis I created horizontal analysis of profit and loss statement and balance sheet and vertical analysis of both these statements. Horizontal analysis known also as trend analysis compares indicator changes in a time line. We consider here absolute value changes and also percentage changes of single items of the statements. In vertical analysis single components of the statements are expressed as a percentual part of one of these components. We work in separated years from top to bottom, never across years. As the basis we take total assets value. This analysis does not depend on inflation and allows comparability of trends in more years, that is its advantage. I also discussed outcomes of these analyses. The last part of my thesis is financial analysis from the point of view of the bank, which is requested to grant a credit. Each bank uses different methods and programs to detect investigate the financial health of the firm. In Voksbank CZ a program assumed from maternal OVAG Voksbank International AG is used {--} VB Raiting. This rating divides in two parts. One is Hard facts, which is quantitative analysis. Bank works with relative indicators such as: credit attendance, capital structure, receivables turnover index, margin of profit, liquidity and interest coverage. Second part of the rating are so called Soft facts, that is qualitative criteria of the fir, for example management quality, market position, supplier-customer relationships etc. These two parts divide clients into classes of the rating scale and in consideration of these outcomes the bank negotiates details and terms of the credit with the client. Worse rating increases interest margin of the bank or increases necessity of covering the credit. I describe also standardized investment credit conditions and the credit obtaining procedure in this part. In summary I described agreement methods between the bank and the client and terms of extended loan.

Vodička, Jan ; Pellant, Arnošt (advisor) ; Astl, Jaromír (referee) ; Kabelka, Zdeněk (referee)
A) Olfactory evaluation using perfumed markers In our work we focused on creation of a new, cheap and orientation method of olfactometry. To assess olfactory function we decided to use perfumed markers, available in stationery, made by company Centropen. These markers are designed for use by children. We projected four individual studies to create a new technique of examination using perfumed markers and to evaluate its function. 1. In a pilot study we examined 100 subjects (50 healthy and 50 suffering from olfactory loss). Examination technique consisted of two parts, discrimination of odorants and identification. The results of this test were in concordance with generally used subjective olfactometry tests. 2. Due to huge time consumption of technique used in the pilot study, we decided to find simpler and faster technique of examination. Five different techniques were created and compared with standard olfactory test Sniffin' Sticks (part threshold and identification). In total 189 subjects were included in this study. The technique with the best results considering sensitivity and specificity for screening ansomia was named Odourized Markers Test (OMT). The subjects were asked to spontaneously name the odorants fist and then to choose the most proper name for an odorant from four options. This...

Nezvalová, Klára
The name of the Bachelor's thesis is the Technology of production and quality evaluation of hams, and it focuses primarily on cooked hams. Nevertheless, other types are characterized and described, too, especially the dried cured ham, which is popular abroad. All issues connected to the product are included, from its classification with the meat products, definition, ingredients, and technology of production, to the evaluation of its quality using laboratory methods. The Prague ham is now the most famous Czech ham, typical for its ingredients and technology of production. Nowadays, some attempts develop to put it on the list of guaranteed traditional specialities. The source rump plays the most important role in the production of soft smoked ham, while its quality is influenced not only by the feedstuff of the livestock, but also by manufacturing of meat itself. Moreover, the appropriate ratio of additives plays a significant role, together with the proper storage in the right temperatures. These aspects then affect the resulting quality of the product, which is checked by sensory analysis and laboratory methods.
