The comparison of websites of non-profit organizations
Navrátil, Karel ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Sigmund, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this bachelor study is to compare websites of unprofitable organizations. The introductory part deals with common tasks of unprofitable organizations and brings some appreciation of their contemporary status in the Czech Republic. The second part contains principals of multicriterial websites evaluation. In the third part of the study proper evaluation of selected websites is introduced. Afterwards evaluation of the outcomes is stated and recommendations how to improve particular websites are given. The study conclusion gives the principals for construction of the new web sites as well as some practical example of the construction of a new website of unprofitable organization.

Potential photodynamic active compounds based on nitrogenous macrocycles
Kostka, Miroslav ; Hartl, Jiří (advisor) ; Macháček, Miloš (referee) ; Král, Vladimír (referee)
77.. SSUUMMMMAARRYY During the dissertation I have managed to prepare various compounds of phthalocyanine (Pc) structures and measure their production of singlet oxygen. The synthesis of Pc is not overly problematic, however complications arise during purification. Phthalocyanines are known for their instability in visible light spectrum and their aggregation in more concentrated solutions. The singlet oxygen quantum yield is usually low at the aggregates, thus further work is limited. The aim of my work was to create new Pcs with both increased solubility and functional groups suitable for conjugation with biomolecules. First experiments were performed with silicon complex of Pc (SiPc). However, synthesis of axialy substituted SiPc was not successful. Similar compounds with peripheral alkylsulphanyl substitution were also not obtained. These compounds disintegrated during synthesis. Another method that I have tried to insert a central aluminium atom into a Pc platform that was soluble into common organic solvents. Not all peripheral substituents were suitable (5, 6). Even by this method I haven't achieved satisfactory reactions yields. We have then turned our attention to zinc and magnesium complexes of Pc (ZnPc, MgPc). These synthesis methods are already known. Their reaction conditions are less...

Drawing on experience in teaching grammar gained in French primary and secondary schools
Miškovská, Ivana ; Jančovičová, Ivana (referee) ; Perclová, Radka (advisor)
This thesis attempts to design activities enriching the author's teaching practice when working with adult learners from elementary to intermediate level. It studies grammar practice in theory and defines its objective. It identifies the criteria contributing to successful grammar practice and offers a classification o f grammar practice activities. The background theory provides guidelines for assessing French learners' problems observed when participating in Comenius project in France. Czech learners' reactions to the given grammatical features are anticipated. Activities suitable for author's own teaching practice attempting to solve the problem are suggested. The function of food in the context of traditional Vietnamese medicine
Procházka, Tomáš ; Hlavatá, Lucie (advisor) ; Slavická, Binh (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the traditional Vietnamese diet with emphasis on its preventive or curative functions. The first part discusses the Vietnamese diet in general, describing its basic parts. It briefly presents the development of Vietnamese traditional medicine and focuses on the most important personalities in this area. It also focuses on the healing aspects of individual raw materials and their use in domestic medicine. Through cultural and anthropological perspective it tries to give a convincing explanation why and in what situations are specific foods used as drugs. The second part of the thesis describes the use of individual medicaments in healing the most common diseases. The final part includes the glossary and attached images.

E-learning applications as a support for knowledge management in a company
Latiak, Martin ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Žid, Norbert (referee)
This paper analyzes the relationship between e-learning and knowledge management. It describes the possibilities of practical applications of this relationship, in context of supporting knowledge management in a company. It analyzes the theoretical background of e-learning and knowledge management. The paper also examines the ways of creation, dissemination and use of knowledge. It looks for common methods, goals and tools used in both e-learning and knowledge management. The concluding chapters describe the usage of particular e-learning applications, present relevant statistical data and the last one provides suggestions for e-learning solutions for different sized companies.

Romani Holocaust as a theme in the curriculum in primary schools
NOVÁKOVÁ, Hana
In this paper I focused on the issue of teaching about the Romani holocaust. In the first part I analyzed the current discussion concerning the Romani holocaust, while I mainly focused on the debate whether during World War II. the camps in Lety near Pisek and Hodonín near Kunštát, were "concentration" or "working" camp. For example, I analyzed the statements of our politician Tomio Okamura and reactions to his statements. The main objective of this paper is to explore how (and whether) the issue of Romani holocaust is included in the school curriculum. In the second part of my work I focused on common knowledge about this topic in schools. I conducted a study at the primary schools in Třebíč, using the combination of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods in order to find out whether and how this topic is taught at selected schools.

The Story of The Modern Artist. Joža Uprka (1861-1940)
KARPÍŠKOVÁ, Petra
The thesis disserts about painter Joža Uprka in the context of modern Czech art culture formalization at the end of 19th and 20th Century. It also focus on Uprka{\crq}s decentralization attitude expressed in his firm relation to native land of Slovácko, his lifetime basis. His typical work is slowly disappearing from public knowledge. It has been more than 60 years since his latest monography was printed. His study in Prague, Munich, and Paris can be considered as exemplary for the end of 19th Century. Attention is being diverted to subject-similar painter Hanuš Schwaiger. Uprka in the common recognition sticked in the second class category of folklore-subject artists, yet wrongly. It is a pitty not only for the artist but mainly for Czech culture. The culmination of Uprka`s work at the end of the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th Century, is evidently an original art approach.

Physiotherapy after knee injury in football players
Pejcharová, Martina ; Molnár, Petr (advisor) ; Němeček, Ondřej (referee)
Author: Martina Pejcharová Institution: Univerzita Karlova v Praze, lékařská fakulta v Hradci Králové Rehabilitační klinika - fakultní nemocnice Hradec Králové Title of thesis: Fyzioterapie po poranění kolenního kloubu u fotbalistů Supervisor: Mgr. Petr Molnár Number of pages: 94 Number of supplements: 0 Year of defense: 2012 Key words: physiotherapy, knee joint, injuries of knee joint, rehabilitation, rupture of LCA The bachelor thesis describes the injuries of knee joint of football players. It concerns with anatomical, biomechanical, kinesiological issues, and also with various other types of injuries of knee joint, its consequential examination and different types of treatment including the physiotherapy. Some sections focus more on ligamentum cruciatum anterior, which occur mostly as an injury of football players. This type of damage is discussed in empirical part of this thesis, where is tested the beneficence of physiotherapy. The treatment procedure is applied to professional players in productive age, however, the principles are general and it is possible to use them in common practice.
